Curse of the Nether Ghouls free content pack is out and will auto update for owners of Unruly Ghouls!
2 new maps, 2 new power ups, a new ghoul and an all new trophy system make up the content pack that triples the map content and doubles the power ups that shipped with Unruly Ghouls back in late October.
Battle the ghouls in two all new beautifully spooky environments “Ghoul Yard” and “Netherrealm”. Travel to the “Ghoul Yard”, a decaying graveyard set in the fall, and fight among tombstones, dead trees and ancient mausoleums or go straight to the Ghoul’s home turf in the wonderfully surreal “Netherrealm”. The new maps also provide a higher challenge and higher scores. Ghoul attack speed and minion speed are higher on each level and generate more points as well. On each map you can now also unlock Bronze, Silver and Gold trophies with the all new trophy system.
To help with the greater challenge these new maps provide, there are 2 new “Spectral Orb” power ups. The “Time shift Orb” slows down time and increases blaster fire rate and the “Ghoul Bomb Orb” is an ultimate explosion that destroys all minions and damages all Ghouls.
A new Ghoul “Kid Bruiser” joins the fight, a little brother to the “King Bruiser” boss faced previously. Kid Bruiser is a tanky ghoul that spawns 2 fast minion ghouls each attack. It’s a good thing that there is a new spread shot power up to help take out these new ghouls.
In addition to the new content there have been numerous enhancements to balance, tuning and polish including all waves being rebalanced for 24 exciting waves of Ghoul Busting!

Major Content Pack Open Beta
Hey everyone!
We have released an open beta for an upcoming Unruly Ghouls major content update. This update completely overhauls Unruly Ghouls and adds new levels, power ups, a new ghoul and other features.
We are looking for feedback on the new direction and the updated content and features.
You can opt into the beta by selecting Unruly Ghouls in your Steam list > right click > select properties > select betas > select openbeta from the drop down. Note you may have to restart steam to download the update.

New Update: Features, Polishes and Bug fixees
Hey all you ghoul getters,
A new update is live for Unruly Ghouls. This update brings some new features, polishes and bug fixes. You can check out some of the additions in the video below and patch notes are below that.
New Feature: Vacuums can now suck up spectral orb power ups
New Feature: Cloaked ghouls now have skulls that can still be damaged. When a ghoul cloaks, a skull is still visible and can be hit, this lets you have a greater challenge when a ghoul is cloaked but you still have a way to damage it.
Tweaks and balance changes:
Increased Common Power Up Value from 1 to 2 and increased Rare Power Up from 3 to 4, this will grant uber and repair power ups more often.
Moved side wards back and inward a bit, this helps from cheap ghosts attack when they attack too close to the side wards giving the player more time to react
Added a satisfying "pop" sound when pulling in a power up or a ghoul.
Sped up vacuum speed of ghouls overall so they are always sucked up faster
Tweaked Orb Trail effect after shooting it or sucking it up with the vacuum to be more like a trail
Adjusted balance on waves 11-15
Bug Fixes:
Fixed Heart HUD meshes blocking vacuum traces on ghouls and orbs
Fixed bug where purple cloaker ghost would not attack if woke up from being stunned in some cases
Small Balance Update
Good morning, a small balance udpate today.
*Tuned back health on ghouls, more health on the cloakers was getting pretty frutstrating ghoul health has been tuned to its original state.
*Slightly increased speed on minion ghouls when targeting the player
*Improved touchpad weapon switching controls. - Now anywhere you click on the touchpad will swap between your vacuum and blaster.

Thank You And Dual Wielding Update!
We wanted to say thank you to everyone who has purchased Unruly Ghouls and supported the game so far. It's been a lot of hard work getting here and we are really excited to see the leaderboards lighting up with players.
The global leaderboard is viewable on our Steam community page here : http://steamcommunity.com/stats/523720/leaderboards/1449170/ We'd really like to get this visible in game in the future.
We would also like to announce a new feature and some balance changes. As of today you can now dual wield either the blasters or the vacuums, twice the blasters=twice the fun! Since this gives you some more firepower the balance has been tweaked slightly to increase the challenge.
We'd love to hear if you think the game is challenging enough or you like the current pace.
