Rune Knights have long been honored in Rokar, yet only some rise to the status of Hero. Tonight, a new legend is born.
This month, our Discord community has participated in The Hero of Rokar tournament. Sixteen Champions made their way to the Semi-Finals, where they were tasked with picking one of four paths to become a Finalist. Each trial crowned one winner, who would move on to the Finals.
These Champions have earned their way to the Finals and now prepare for the ultimate challenge! Four will enter, but only one will rise up as the Hero of Rokar!
The grand event will premiere at 5pm ET TONIGHT (April 30) on the official Until You Fall Discord server. For those who are unable to attend the Watch Party live, the video will also be shared at a later date.
We hope to see you all come gather around the Runeforge and induct a new Rune Knight into legend.

A little bit about us:
Dave Bennett Dave Bennett is a Senior Game Designer at Schell Games and the Project Director for the VR sword-fighting game Until You Fall. While his recent focus has been on experimental VR and AR titles, Dave has worked on a variety of different projects and platforms, ranging from goofy space adventures like Orion Trail to transformational titles that help teach systems thinking. While he'll play just about anything, some of his favorite games include Escape Velocity, FTL: Faster than Light, Civilization V, Stellaris, and XCOM.
Justin DeVore Justin DeVore is a Senior Game Artist at Schell Games and the Art Director for the VR hack'n'slash roguelite Until You Fall. Before helping to bring the world of Rokar to life, he served as Art Director on another commercial dueling game as well as a multitude of experimental XR experiences for various clients. Prior to shifting his focus to AR/VR and Art Direction, he worked in numerous artistic disciplines at Schell Games on projects ranging from transformational experiences to mobile games to popular theme park attractions. In his free time, he hangs out with his wife and kids, creates and develops Bonsai trees and Penjing landscapes, and plays too much Overwatch (poorly).
Attention, Champions! We're looking for adventurous Rune Knights to help us provide feedback on the 1.0 version for PC. An open beta of the 1.0 version is now available via Steam.
We're specifically looking for testers who may have had a save file that was previously causing performance drops or those who were having issues with their buttons not working outside of the Steam Input Beta build, but any feedback is appreciated!

Defense of Rokar- VR Fitness Summit Championship

The Defense of Rokar Championship will take place on Sunday, September 6th at 6pm EST. Watch the top players from the qualifying rounds play Until You Fall on Nightmare mode using the Twin Katars, Gemini Esper and Gemini Stranded.

Since when has VR Fitness been a thing?
While people are staying at home and with gyms and wellness centers being closed, many players have resorted to using action-packed virtual reality games for their workouts. Until You Fall and Synth Riders VR fit that category.
