A new phase for our studio
Dear community,
As we keep growing as developers, our focus is set on telling new stories with longer narratives, deeper characters and broader experiences. This is why we will stop selling some of our older games soon, finishing their commercial cycle and focusing our efforts on new and compelling stories to tell.
But do not worry. If you own this game, you'll still be able to play it from your Steam Library as usual. Nothing will change for you.
We are excited to share with you our future projects on this new phase.

We are moving out of Early Access!
Finally our (no longer) episodic adventure for HTC Vive "Uplands Motel: VR Thriller" is moving out of early access on Steam. This means that the final episode of the game is now available for everyone to play.
One of the most noticeable changes to the game is that the three episodes have been merged into a single and more immersive narrative, that can be played without any interruptions. The menu and some levels have also been slightlty redesigned for a better experience.

The wait is almost over. The final chapter of our episodic VR game "Uplands Motel" will arrive next month in the form of a free update for all its owners.

Episode 2 is NOW LIVE!
Finally the release date for the second episode has arrived! This new update includes a completely playable version of the second episode of the game with new features, many of them requested by the community:
- Darker scenes with a creepier atmosphere.
- Motion capure animations for the NPCs.
- More interaction with the NPCs.
- Less character chattering, with the subsequent increase in difficulty.
- Mayor bugs fixed like the one that made the player´s hands disappear when grabbing certain objects.
Release date for Episode 2
After some weeks of silence we can finally reveal that the second episode of "Uplands Motel" will be released the 23rd of May.
Some of the main features of the new episode:
- Darker tone than the first episode.
- You will be able to defend yourself from NPCs.
- New motion-capture based animations for the characters.
- Less chattering by the main character.
The update of the second episode will also include some changes on the first one, like new voice acting on certain scenes.

- New sound effects when adding objects to the inventory and in certain moments when using them.
- Locked doors will now play a sound effect if you try to open them.
- Fixed the translation bug when reaching the checkpoints.
- Fixed the bug that made difficult to open the safebox at the room.
- Fixed some continuity errors.
- Hint system improved.
- Some typos have been fixed.

Finally "Uplands Motel: VR Thriller" has been released and can now be played on Steam! We are looking forward to hearing the players' opinions about the first episode, so we can work on the following based on what the community likes most.
