Devlog #4: Storage full of secrets
Dear Urban Explorers!
Today we’d like to give you a little update about our development progress.
As you may already know from our previous DevLog #3, in the last few months we were focused on creating a new location and polishing parkour mechanics of our game. If you’re not familiar with the details, make sure to read the previous DevLog. You can see some screenshots of the new location there!
We have recently shifted our focus to buildings available in the new Abandoned Silo location. To be more precise, we’re now working on interiors you’ll be able to explore. You’ll need to rely on your parkour skills to get to them, as in some cases it’s going to be a great challenge!
What kind of areas can you expect to see? > Building complex of Abandoned Silo > Workshop > Storehouse > Office building > Tower > Security building > Open area littered with containers
You can see some of these areas below, namely, the area with containers, workshop, storehouse and toilet room. How do you like the atmosphere so far? :)
Abandoned Silo location was inspired by area depicted in this video: [previewyoutube="u8DTRbBoOTs;full"] More details are coming soon, but we hope you like what we’ve prepared so far. :)

As promised, we have a sneak peek of one of the locations that will be available in Urban Explorer!
Our team is working hard on the Abandoned Silo location. We’ve collected lots of reference photos and videos and based on them, we’re designing the level and doing our best to make it as exciting and challenging as possible!
Keep in mind that this is not the final name of this location, and new development screenshots don’t represent the final look of the location and the game. We’re still working on post-processing, buildings and other improvements.
As the name of the location suggests, there you will be able to explore the abandoned silo with many secret rooms to discover. Getting there might be a little challenging, you will have to use your parkour skills... but watch out! You may bump into someone, who won’t be happy about your visit there…
We will soon test the parkour mechanics in this level and make nice gifs for you! Would you like to visit this location? ːsteamhappyː

Welcome to the next development update! This month we are busy working on locations that you will visit in Urban Explorer. We also continue working on parkour mechanics and testing them in the pre-alpha build.
We're doing our best to make our parkour mechanics as good as possible. Currently, we're mainly testing and improving jumping, climbing, wall-running, etc.
Perfecting parkour mechanics is crucial because you'll often have to use your parkour abilities to avoid security or areas that, at first glance, seem inaccessible.
Additionally, we're doing research and collecting reference photos and videos of various impressive abandoned buildings, secret facilities, catacombs, etc. As we mentioned on our Social Media channels while working on new locations, we're looking for some inspiration!
Don't hesitate to share with us your favorite urbex locations that you would like to explore in our game. Cooperation with the community is essential! Join our dedicated Discord Server and post your suggestions!
