After several months of testing, we're happy to release multiplayer 24/7 on June 15th :-)
Multiplayer offers a time trial and combat mode, with voice over support so you can flame each other while speeding on the track.
We've had quite a few laughs playing it with those of you who helped testing, and we hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do.
As always, Discord is where it's at if you want ot connect with other players and set up multiplayer meetings (click the link inside the game to launch it on your web browser).
So practice your skills and join us for a few laps on the 15th!

NEW TRACK - KOVAS FUSION
KOVAS FUSION
Ok racers, we've got a new track for you!
Today we're releasing the second Kovas track, which brings more jumps and bends to V-Racer. Here's what it looks like:
To give you a clearer idea of where we are going with this: for each environment, we plan to have three tracks. The first is rather flat, and targetted at new racers. The second brings more challenge and sensation, with loops and jumps. We've already released Vigo Reactor showing a bit of what to expect, and today we give you Kovas Fusion. We plan to have a second Zakhar track real soon as well. Once we're done with that, we'll go crazy with Vigo Madness :-)

LIVERY EDITOR
For those who haven't found it already, the livery editor is now accessible in the garage, so you can make your bike shine. We'll tell you more about that in another post, but if you're into painting in VR, make sure to check it out.

SWITCHING TO NEW BACKEND SERVER
Hello racers,
We have just switched to a new backend server that enables us to support cross store leaderboards and multiplayer. This was necessary to ensure that Steam and Oculus home players can play together when we release the game on Oculus Home.
In the process we had to reset the leaderboards.
With the new backend, you will also be able to see opponent ghosts with their custom liveries.

Hello racers, we’re starting another multiplayer test weekend! Starting right about now and until Monday afternoon european time.

We’ve worked on the room interface to provide more info when you prepare a race, and we’ve fixed a few issues we had last weekend.

LIVERIES – REAH – PHOTO MODE – MULTIPLAYER TEST
Hello racers, here is another update to the game!
LIVERIES
We've updated the liveries for all bikes. They were created with the livery editor that we are still testing and plan to integrate in the game so you can go wild and customize your bike to your own tastes, choosing colors, decals and logos that you like.

NEW TRACK - REAH
Reah is the first of a series of space tracks designed to provide more extreme sensations. We started with an "easy" one, with bends and slopes. the next one will be in the same environment but feature loops and jumps.

PHOTO MODE UPDATES
We added the ability to tweak exposure and depth of field after taking a screenshot in the photo mode. Once you have captured your shot, you can now adjust exposure, focal distance, focal length and aperture using the thumbsticks. You can also point at a part of the image and press the trigger to set the focus. We also added more image fx to make your shots shine, including vignetting, chromatic aberration and grain. These effects are also present in the replays of your race.

VISUAL QUALITY TWEAKS
We revisited the tracks to add detail textures, improving the overall visual quality of the tracks. These details also help conveying the sensation of speed while racing. We tweaked the shaders on the bikes and the drivers to make them a bit sharper and shinier.
MULTIPLAYER - SAVE THE DATE: Feb 23rd
You will see in the menus that we are planning a second test week-end for the multiplayer testing on feb 23rd. We've been holding multiplayer back for a while, because we were worried that the experience would be deceptive since the user base is still small. But some of you convinced us that we should just let go and release it, and we listened to them.
If you are into multiplayer, please join the discord channel so you can meet up with other players and synchronize to get online at the same time in your time zone and play.

MULTIPLAYER TEST IS ON !!
Hello racers,
We've just enabled the multiplayer feature on the main build for the weekend :-)
Relaunch Steam to force the game to update and you're good to go!
We've opened only one server for this weekend, on the US east coast. Everyone around the world will connect to that server.
It makes it easier to find other players when you connect, and it also helps us test the viability of playing across the ocean.
We've tried it already and we feel confident but only real world testing can confirm it.
Beyond this week-end, we plan to enable regional servers to improve ping and response time.
So, what we're testing this weekend is:
- can you connect?
- can you create or join a room?
- does voice support work properly?
- is the game playable in time trial and combat mode?
- are you having fun? ;-)
