I would like to take this time to thank all of those who have truly given the game a chance and taken the time to complete it. As far as I know, everyone who has done so has enjoyed their stay within Valcarta. I hope, that in the future, you will continue to support the games I create. For those of you who tried the game and weren't able to get through it, I thank you as well, your feedback is always welcome and applied to my future products!
I am writing this announcement today as a follow-up to my previous announcement regarding Valcarta II: Domination. As some of you may know, in Valcarta II I have decided to go ahead and give each path their own game. All Valcarta II games will run approx 20-30 hours as per Valcarta: Rise of the Demon but be 100% unique experience to each path and where ever they may lead! (yes, the two paths still clash, I'm sure ;) ). Furthermore, I have committed a lot more resources (money) into the creation of Valcarta II: Domination in the hopes of generating more interest in the game. While people SHOULDN'T judge a book by its cover, it is simply a fact that they do. Without custom, appealing assets, it is unlikely many players will dive in. So, as I continue to move away from stock RPG Maker assets, I want to present to you the first completed commissioned character for Valcarta II: Domination!
Maria, the Eldritch Scholar was discovered by Brotherhood Scouts within Valcarta: Rise of the Demon and makes her return, supporting Valak and friends within Valcarta II: Domination! While she has taken on a new look in the last 3 months (game world time), it hasn't taken way from her overall character or presence! I wonder what Valcarta II has in store for Maria!
This art will be available for viewing, in-game, whenever you open the main menu! Not only that, but she will have a custom sprites (coming soon) and a face snippet for when she talks in-game!
I hope everyone is excited as I am for Valcarta II: Domination!
As the art continues to trickle in, I will continue to share! Not only that, but in-game screenshots will soon be available as we move closer and closer to that Beta mark! While no date is set, I remain hopefully that the Beta will be ready by the end of the month!

IGMC2017 Submission!
As I posted before, I have been participating in the IGMC2017 for the last month.
I am writing this today to introduce all of you who to 'Heroes of Valcarta'!
Heroes of Valcarta is currently free (donation option available :D) for the duration of the contest but will likely change afterwards.
Heroes of Valcarta is a short, 1 hour scenario that takes the player into the Heart of Valcarta to stop an evil Doomvoid Dragon Lord known as Kiristranos. The Knightblades summon forth the brave heroes that have served Valcarta before in the hopes of finding only 4 of them to pit again this new villain. Race against the 60 min to conquer 15 obstacles and 5 mini-bosses before taking on Kiristranos himself!

Valcarta II Information, Facebook & IGMC2017 Participation

I, Talon, will be using the Valcarta IP in the IGMC2017 contest that is being held in the RPG maker community!

Valcarta II: Domination - Alpha Announcement!
Greetings everyone!
I proud to announce that Valcarta's Dark Path sequel, Domination, has official hit Alpha status. Over the next couple of weeks, it is my hope to release information about the game, Screenshots, Videos, etc. in order to get all you fans ready for what has happened Valak, Synkale and the team and what they will be facing in the future!
No release date is set as of yet, but it is looking to be close to December!

I have changed the script that was handling the handshake with the Steam API to flag achievements.
While this hasn't officially been tested, it is my hope that those users out there that were having problems previously, no longer end up with said problem whilst playing.
Again, this fix has not been tested, so your feedback is welcome.
The first achievement occurs at the end of the tutorial where you pick a path. If you are in Offline Mode, you will not receive an Achievement (please keep this in mind)
Any further feedback regarding the games achievements should be posted on the forums! Thanks in advance!
On another note, Valcarta II: Domination (Dark Path Sequel) will be hitting Alpha soon! I will be releasing information about that soon on Valcarta's facebook page (linked below) with screenshots and more information over the next couple of weeks!

*Fixed an issue wherein the player may become stuck when encountering Kal'Thar's Sahagin illusions if the random number was between 2 and 5. --- [Dark Path only]
*Fixed an issue wherein the player could skip picking up playable character Carter and progress through the story in a seemingly normal fashion. --- [Light Path only]

*Removed an obsolete Save Point from the game, located within the Graves map of Water Grave Cave. --- [Dark Path only]
Note: Please alert me to any other Save Points that may be found within the game to this date. To the best of my knowledge all have been removed. If, for whatever reason, you are unable to access the save menu in your game, please let me know so I can deploy a fix.

*Fixed a bug where players would be unable to progress through Cave 1 of the Smoldering Sands map. While this didn't affect overall game progression, it did prevent players from collecting equipment!
