We hope you’re enjoying the game! Have you assembled the perfect party to complete those challenging quests? Or are you still fine-tuning your strategy through trial and error? Regardless of where you stand, we’re thrilled to have you on board with us on this adventure and hope you find endless enjoyment in our game.
We understand some players have encountered issues when playing the game, but don’t worry! Our dedicated development team has been hard at work addressing these issues. We’re excited to bring you this latest update, which includes the following fixes:
- Remove unused Arcsilo blueprint as a research requirement.
- Fixed rare occurrence issues where students spawned in the wrong dungeon.
- Fixed behavior on some enemies.
- Fixed visual effects on some student skills that don’t work properly during battle.
- Fixed changes on settings that aren’t properly saved.
- Fixed alignment issues on party selection.
- Fixed issue where required student can be removed from the party and cause the game to crash.
- Fixed camera setting on exploration.
- Fixed achievements that players can’t complete.
- Fixed the HUD issue that sometimes doesn’t appear during battle.
- Fixed issues where players can’t complete quests.
- Fixed issues where students get stuck in some areas inside the dungeon.
- Fixed audio volume issue.
- Fixed the issue where the game crashes during exploration when the enemy chases the party.
- Fixed the issue where Rodno wasn’t removed from the academy after his graduation.
- Fixed issue in snowman minigame where the displayed button prompt is not correct.
- Fixed cinematic graduation bug where the principal is glitching.
- Fixed localization issues.
- Fixed issue when a battle with three monsters will make the player drop from the ground.
- Fixed some issues in fishing minigame.

Greetings, Principals! You should read about this update because it’s an important one.
We’re adding a new dungeon to the game, and it’s not just any regular dungeon, Principals!
To reach this location, you must go through a portal in the lava fields. However, the portal is locked until you complete a certain quest. Once you finish the quest, the portal to the dungeon will open, and its location will be marked on your map as the Sky Castle in the sky of Valthiria, the final dungeon of Valthiria Arc: Hero School Story 2.
As the final dungeon of the game, this place will be filled with the strongest monsters in Valthiria you have ever encountered, and it’s also the battlefield for fighting the game’s final boss! Therefore, make the best preparations possible, Principals! Choose your students and teach them well because this is the battle that will determine the future of Valthiria!
This update includes:
- New dungeon: Sky Castle
- New quests
- Fixed bugs reported from player

Meet Zero Four and Kayla Palmer. Zero Four is a sentient arcstone-powered automaton built to replace heroes. Despite their slender physique, Zero Four can beat all monsters in Valthiria, even those who create trouble for professional heroes. However, without an official hero license, Zero Four can’t become a professional hero. To obtain the necessary license, they have come to your academy.
The mastermind behind this remarkable creation is Kayla Palmer, a young inventor from Chernov. After her past tragedy, she has dedicated her life to designing machines capable of replacing heroes. She comes to your academy to witness Zero Four's triumph over fellow students and become the best hero Valthiria has ever seen.

Being a hero involves more than just defeating monsters. So, can you help them understand that while they are attending the academy?
Not only robots, but there will also be pets too! Yup, in this update, there will be pets that will spawn in the school grounds and those animals will change for every season. We hope their cuteness brings more fun to the academy.

Tired of fighting the same monsters repeatedly? We've heard your requests and are introducing new opponents for you to fight. Be prepared to face Poult, Woodsman, and Strigger as they now roam Valthiria in the latest updates!
Get your students prepared for these monsters as they need different strategies to beat them. Or maybe you already have the perfect party formation in place?
Principals, your accomplishments should not go unrecognized. We are excited to announce the addition of achievements and trading cards to the game. Let's finish the game and collect them all!
We're also thrilled to announce the addition of multiple language support, allowing you to play the game in Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, and Korean. As for Thai, French, German will come later!.
To put it briefly, the updates include:

It's the holiday season, Principals! We have one more update before we say goodbye to 2022.
Sometimes, the best course of action is not to charge into battle but instead to take a step back and reevaluate the situation. Retreating does not mean you have lost; rather, it shows that you understand your own limitations and are willing to take the time to gain more strength.
That is why we have added the “Escape” feature! With this feature, you can flee from the battle and rethink your strategy or return to learn more and level up your skills.
Apart from the “Escape” feature, we also made several improvements in the 0.10.0.0, including:
- Revamped battle UI
- Improved button prompts for the controller
- New confirmation pop-ups on several screens
- More new animations on the party selection screen
- New graduation cinematic sequence

Hello, Principals! We got some updates for you!
A new champion has arrived in Valthiria! He’s a bard named Emerson Lake.
Wait a minute, a bard? Why did he even go to a hero academy? Emerson wants to find an art treasure that has been lost for a long time, but one of the necessary conditions to find the treasure is that he needs to have the values of a hero.
He comes from a family of prosperous merchants who measure success solely by money, and his family sees his dedication to art as a waste. Can Emerson prove to his family that success is not only measured by material things?

You can enjoy the adventure of Emerson and other champions with a gamepad. Yup, VAHSS2 can now also be played with a gamepad controller! Although it's still an early build, we ensure it won't disrupt your fun. But if you experience some inconveniences, make sure to let us know your issues. Don't worry; you can still choose to play the game using a keyboard and mouse as the default by going to settings.
