FESTIVE Skirmish - 18th December

For our final Sunday Skirmish of 2022 we have festive themed event with the a snowy theme to all the maps alongside new changes and improvements. Don't miss out as the snow will melt very soon and return French scenery to their usual lush green.

Sunday Skirmish will return in January.

How to I do Join?


This event will be on the latest pre-release beta of the upcoming "REINFORCED" Update on the '0.6-beta' branch.

You can change branch by right-clicking the game in your library, selecting properties, opening the betas tab and selecting 0.6-beta from the dropdown menu.

Warning: If you are switching from the public to beta branch it is a large update of 9.7GB as we have made a huge number of cumulative changes which affect the whole game.

Build 478: Patch Notes

Game Tip:


You can display the compass and ammo status by pressing “T”. It can be set to toggle or press/hold in settings.

SUMMARY OF CHANGES:


  • Added: Capture stages to in-game map showing number of stages and number completed
  • Fixed: Pressing TAB while endgame screen displayed would permanently hide it
  • Improved: Improved in-game map responsiveness
  • Changed: Merville battery garden objective area to make camping harder
  • Changed: Added additional spectator cameras to Merville Battery
  • Changed: Updated left-flank boundaries to Lion-sur-Mere to improve player navigation


KNOWN ISSUES


  • Cursor sometimes get stuck on screen
  • Weapons and hands are temporarily invisible when first entering a map after a major update or install. Please be patient while the caching completes.
  • Cursor and icons can "ghost" over the screen after playing for some time. We are actively investigating this bug. Please let us know if it happens with as much detail as possible

You can temporarily hold your breath to steady your aim by holding SHIFT while aiming.

  • Added: Server wide voice chat during pre-game in yellow text (default: right Alt)
  • Added: Separate mouse sensitivity option while aiming down sights (ADS)
  • Fixed: Teams swapped in scoreboard after switching team

The latest build for this event adds a mouse sensitivity setting when aiming down sights (ADS), server wide voice chat during pre-game and re-balancing of the SMGs in addition to bug fixes.

You can “ping” enemy positions or points of interest by looking at a point and clicking the middle mouse.

The first in our new "Sunday Skirmish" series of community events running every fortnight. We are continuing to update the game based on your feedback and the latest patch will be dropping in time for the event on Sunday.

SUMMARY OF CHANGES:

  • Updated: Number of nearby teammates is now always visible when close to an objective
  • Updated: Changed default "ping" binding to middle mouse. Custom keybindings have had to be reset (sorry!)
  • Updated: Pegasus Bridge

    • Fixed floating geometry
    • Added additional cover to machine gun nest objective
    • Moved initial British spawn on variant 1 to provide terrain cover from spawn sniping

Community Event – 16th October

Following the success of the last couple of events we have been focused on bug fixes from players feedback.

What's new?



  • Fixed: Raid HUD not updating player state, waves or phase progress.
  • Fixed: Reinforcement available indicator not displaying for NCOs
  • Fixed: Map UI errors on first load after level rotation
  • Fixed: Round start not waiting for last loading player
  • Updated: Number of nearby teammates is now always visible when close to an objective
  • Updated: Changed default "ping" binding to middle mouse. Custom keybindings have had to be reset (sorry!)
  • Updated: Pegasus Bridge

    • Fixed floating geometry
    • Added additional cover to machine gun nest objective
    • Moved initial British spawn on variant 1 to provide terrain cover from spawn sniping
