Update 0.7 Notes
Note from the dev:
First of all I want to sincerely thank you for checking the game out! I have not gave up on this game yet but it is really hard to support games while making new ones as a solo dev. So far there have been two updates but I'm determined to bring at least quarterly updates to VaporFly as time goes.
As a fan of both synthwave and vaporwave I'm excited to get your feedback about the state of the game and let's see how we can make this game much more fun together.
General Updates :
- Changed the physics of player controller. Movement of the ships should feel much more smooth right now.
- UI has been revamped with new sprites and better UX feel.
- Taught Options Menu to remember selections.
- Performance has been improved. You can get much more FPS with lower tier graphics cards.
- Re-designed some of the levels to match the theme better
- Added localization, currently there are only 2 languages (TR,EN) but will add more soon.
You can help me translate the game to your language by messaging me on discord - Changed in-game GUI to a more conventional style rather than being next to ship's hull.
Game Mode Updates :
Carnage Mode
You can get in to Carnage Mode via new Change Mode option on main screen.
Added activation SFX
Core is the same as Update 0.5a
Increased the fire rateVapor Mode
Increased the visibility of enemies
Adjusted enemy spawn rateNormie Mode
Removed some invisible barriers to increase the sense of game flowHue Mode
Brand new mode. Maximum speed is set to 250km/h regardless of the vehicle.
You can feel the music much better thanks to the reacting color theme!
Your surroundings change color according to the bass/treble of the current music

PS: VR version is still in the works and I'll publish it as soon as I've tackled the sudden FPS drop issue.
