Update v0.9104

Another update!

But no, it is not the second part of the update 0.9103, this time is just a small fix for the MiG-29SM_9-13M challenge.
Even with all the tests, the wrong file managed to seep into the update build .
The F-5A also had some missing elements, so I think it was a good reason to make a small fix.

But I also add something else, so it won't be just a boring small fix.

As a bonus it has been added the MiG-28.
I bet some of you already know what aircraft I´m talking about.

Update v0.9103

Another update has been released!

It already has been some weeks since the last update, during that time the development was in full production and a lot has been done, so much that the planned update have grown more than expected.
The problem is this also made it difficult to release, as there were plenty of new stuff that require additional testing to be sure that it didn't had any bugs.

But at the same time, I wanted to release the update as soon as possible to move on to other elements of development, so my goal was to release this week, but due to the sheer volume of content and additions, it was hard to have everything ready on time.

Initially, when I noticed that it would be difficult to have it ready this week, I was planning in posting a new report and announcement to talk about the current state the update, but then, the plan has changed again and I decided to split this update in two parts.

What you see here is the first part of this update, the rest will be added in the few days.

This update also adds several new aircraft families, but the next part will add even more.
As for challenges, this update only adds a few, more are to come in the next update, but some of them use elements that are not fully tested, so they required more time.

Other element that was omitted in this update was the ability to skip challenges, while the system was ready, most of the challenges didn't had a price, so it will only be available in the second part.

Also, after experiencing the development of update that took several weeks, I´ll be making for a while smaller and quicker updates to tweak and give every aircraft their respective challenge.

Update v0.9101 + v0.9102 - F-14


Here it is the very first update of Vector Thrust in early access.

I´m still adapting to this new phase of development, at the moment I´m not sure if I should update the game in regular intervals or when there is something relevant done.
In the next updates I´ll explore a bit these options to see which it works best for the development and for the community.

But before moving on to the update, I want to thank everyone for your feedback, everyday I´m following very closely the forum and I´m already impressed with the huge amount of suggestions.

In a way, this update tries to address the most important the issues and suggestions I saw at the moment.

But besides that, the main dish of this update is the introduction of the F-14 family. Two units were already available at release, but now this update includes the main variants everyone were waiting for.
This family is far from being completed, but the rest of the variants will be added in other updates.

Also while this update was aimed only at the F-14 family, the following updates will include aircraft from multiple families like the F-4 and MiG-23.

For those of you just playing Vector Thrust after a long two year wait, or for veterans of the Alpha, we thank you sincerely for your patronage and we promise you more is to come. For the time being however, here is our first step to this great journey that we hope you will find yourself drawn into, not only in game but in the community

Vector Thrust launched in Early Access

Zero-Hour is finally here for videogame publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer TimeSymmetry, as their single and multiplayer combat flight game Vector Thrust (PC) is catapulted from the Carrier onto Steam’s Early Access Program today. Vector Thrust embraces many Steam features even at this early stage, with over 125 Achievements, Stats, Leaderboards, Controller Support and a level editor.
