We have a new character to choose. Tommy the tomato has been added to the lineup.
Though we are still working his ultimate ability, you can choose him and play through with him also.
Plus, there are a few more additional changes as noted below:
- New weapons to the Lava stage, Chopping board and Pizza cutter. - New sfx for weapon hits, enemy hits and some more refined sounds. - Have added the ability to start at any stage, makes it easier to test for now.
So there you have it. Go on and get Vegging.

I'm currently working on a new character addition to Veg out Crew, just trying to find the time to finish them off!
It'll be the new Tomato character, Tommy the tomato. He's a squishy little guy and one that has some fun attacks and feels fun to play.
Apart from that, we may have the addition weapon that I believe was missed on the last major update, the chopping board. This shall also be added into the Lava stage I believe also.

New Lava Stage and new weapons

We have a new update that has just dropped. ːsteamhappyː
THE NEW LAVA STAGE!!
This gives another 8 levels, a boss fight, new enemies and objects and other ways to beat the game. We also have 2 new weapons, the chopping board and the pizza cutter. So get going with saving the Veg out World.
We have also added the stage select feature while in early access. This allows the player to start at what ever stage they like to then test and play through the different stages to see what they are like.
Apart from that, we're making progress slowly. I've been a little absent over the past 6 months to a year with other things but should be back a little more in the coming weeks and months to make changes and work on all things development and the game :)

New weapons and stage coming soon
Heya all,
Thought I'd share there's still heaps happening and getting done on Veg out Crew. We're currently finishing off some new weapons in the game, The chopping board and the pizza cutter.
Might still be some work to finish these off as we're also working on a new stage, Lava stage! So a heap more content, different elements, traps, enemies and a new boss too!
This one should be a heap of fun too and bring some new challenges. Just don't fall into the lava when you get to play it out!

New CHARACTERS!
We now have a few brand new CHARACTERS! That's right, Brock the Broccoli, Appy the Apple and Granny Smith the other Apple.
They are all have some cool attacks of their own however, haven't quite finished the ultimate moves yet. But there too good not to have in the game for now!
So lets go in and give them a crack.
We also have some of the below changes too in a summary:
• New characters – Brock the Broccoli, Appy the Apple and Granny Smith! • Added 2 new levels to the Grass stage • Updated GUI with text / asset positioning to show health and other areas better. • Updated character selection with some backgrounds to available characters. • Fixed some content issues within the game, eg: health pickup in wrong spot.
