These price increases are influenced by a number of factors including these six games haven't seen a price increase since 2022 or earlier. These are games that offer incredible value for their price even after the price increase, and also due to the inflation of almost everything the world over.
While these price increases are only a dollar or two each, if you've been considering purchasing one of these six games, this weekend before the price increases would be a great time to grab them!

UPDATE 1.05 - Small Change to the Blackhole Chasm
In Update 1.05, it's a minor visual change is all to the blackhole chasm in the game that makes it slowly increase and decrease in size as it rotates in space.
Nothing more and that's why this is just a small visual update.

UPDATE 1.04 - Multiple Steam Users On The Same Device Can Have Their Own Saves!
Just a small update but should make this game nicer for multiple Steam users who might be using or playing Vektor Z on the same computer or other device (such as the Steam Deck)
Now each Steam user will have their own save data file created with their own stats and Valor Starz saved and all their upgrade data etc.
Just a small but big-time quality of life update here.

UPDATE 1.03 - Fixed a Critical Bug in the Turbulent Trauma Mode
Hello there gamers!
Today, while working on something completely different and playing this game, I noticed a critical game breaking bug that would prevent you from being able to move on to the next level after successfully beating the "Turbulent Trauma" level.
That has now been fixed and works as intended with this update!
I also added a counter to the Turbulent Trauma level to show you how many more bars you need to avoid to pass this level before advancing on. This counter is seen in red and at the top right of the screen.

UPDATE 1.02 - Added Confirmation When Buying a New Ship Color
Hey there,
Just like the title says, that's all that's been done in this update is adding confirmation when you click a ship on the buy ship colors window to make sure you are sure you want to spend the Valor Starz on that purchase by clicking a YES or NO box.

UPDATE 1.01 - Updated and Fixed Small Things Missed In Development
Just a quick fix update that addressed a few little details in Vektor Z..
1) The game will no longer offer you an extra ship and display "Game Over" at the same time. Now the "game over" words will not be seen until you have no lives and no option to buy an extra ship available to you.
2) Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause zombies to not spawn correctly on the "Zawmbee A'Rock'Alypse" level.
3) Fixed an issue on the "Vintage Venture" where sometimes the falling stars could be heard falling but couldn't be seen.
4) Changed the wording on the "Turbulent Trauma" level so that it will now say "MISSED POINTS" on your death as opposed to "LOST POINTS" to avoid confusion. You cannot actually lose points in this game, so I apologize for any confusion and this should help avoid future confusion with that situation.
5) Added windows on the Welcome and High Score screens that pop up a window if you hit the ESC button to confirm that you want to quit the game.
Like I said, just a few minor bugs. I'm surprised there hasn't been bigger bugs found or reported yet, but it wouldn't surprise me to see some here soon. If they exist, I will quickly resolve them as long as I am aware of them, so please don't be shy reporting any bugs or problems you might come across!

Vektor Z is Officially LIVE! Version 1.0 is here!
After more than 100 hours of work just the past two weeks alone, Vektor Z is now live! Today was spent implementing over 70 Steam achievements to cover all the basic stuff, shooting x ufos, destroying 500 total asteroids over the life of your game, etc. More interesting Steam achievements will be added soon.
I want to state that I have been so busy developing content the past couple of weeks and that I haven't had many people play test this game or play tested it as much as I'd like myself. THERE ARE BOUND TO BE BUGS AND GAME BALANCE ISSUES that will need tweaking.
I have reset all the high scores, and I will likely be resetting the high score (leaderboards) again at least once over the next week or two.
Also, controller support is something that I will definitely add should I see enough demand for it. So please let me know your thoughts and especially if you purchase and play my game, what your thoughts of it are. I'd love to know!
