Development Log – Monster Encyclopedia Chapter 1 – Zombies
Hello. friends How are you doing during this cold winter? The end-of-year gift we prepared is the story of Velaster’s ‘Monster Encyclopedia Chapter 1-Zombies.’ There are many different types of monsters in Velaster. Among them, zombies are the lowest level monsters. There are three main types of zombies. The weakest zombie monsters are ‘Abandoned Ones’.
‘Abandoned Ones’ are the weakest humans attacked by other monsters when chaos surges and Malum collapses. Humans who are dead or whose bodies are damaged are contaminated by chaos and have become zombies. They are unintelligent and attack anything that moves.
Those left behind...
The ‘those left behind’ escape the chaos and take refuge in a village in the valley, receiving the protection of Vargos. Although he was alive, Vargos was gradually losing his strength and chaos slowly began to creep in without his knowledge. We were becoming zombies. Those who noticed it were the most sacred things they had. He carried objects on his body, but as he slowly became contaminated with chaos, he began to carry those objects on his body. I started stabbing. Now, with the cross stuck to his body, he attacks everything that passes by.
A being gone crazy The fastest and most agile of Velaster's zombies She has very little rationality and all of her physical abilities are superior to those of other zombies.
When two or more of them are nearby, you must decide your battle carefully.
There are various monsters in Velaster. If you play and catch monsters, you can use the monster encyclopedia in the game. You will be able to get more information.
We are doing our best to develop it so that you can have fun adventures. If you wishlist us on Steam, it will be a great motivation for our development.

Dev Blog / Sword and shield design renewal work
Hello. How are you all? This is Jin, who is in charge of art at Velaster. The five of us are still working hard to make Velaster a fun game. In this development diary, I would like to share a part of the sword and shield renewal work that I have been thinking about for a long time.
- Sword and shield design before renewal -
When designing the existing sword and shield, it was in the early stages of Velaster's development, so the overall design direction of the game was not yet clear. So, the existing sword and shield design feels lacking in confidence and the concept is ambiguous. I wanted to fix that. I wanted to revise the design to speak more clearly.
Also, what was important during the renewal process was 'the unique feel of the existing design must be retained to some extent.' This was the most difficult part. Since I am in charge of all the art by myself, I couldn't spend too much time on this part. There is so much to do, including other UI, monster design, background design, and NPC design. When it took too much time, we had no choice but to make some compromises. Still, it seems to have been completed in a way that fits the concept.
We are currently making other equipment and weapons. Please look forward to developing fun and unique equipment and weapons. If you have any comments about the game, please let us know. Your opinion is very valuable to a small indie company like us. Although it may be slow, we will do our best to develop Velaster. Please stay tuned. I hope you are always happy.

Hello. friends How are you all doing? We have recently developed a new region and are writing to share it with you.
It was once a prosperous town.
The sudden influx of chaotic substances instantly devastated the village.
People who were unable to evacuate were contaminated by the chaos and either died or became zombies.
The town has become devoid of life because zombies have started attacking everything that moves around them.

How are you all doing? We're still working on making Velaster more fun. This time, we modified the effect part to make it more lively. I am sharing some of the edited parts. *Bug Fix - Fixed a bug where the last saved point would not respawn player when respawning or restarting - Fixed a bug which can walk through the door of butchery without interaction - Fixed a bug where the right death trap in the Skull Crawler boss room did not work - Fixed an issue that caused player to exit the boss room after being attacked by the Prisoner of Tenebris - After unlockiing the gate of ruins, unlock dialog is no longer displayed. - Fixed a bug which water sound not playing when walking on water.
