We are swapping our game from a free early access game to a paid one. However, if you already bought the game, you get to keep it without having to pay. This only affects new users coming to get the game.

4/20/2018 Update
Hey everyone!
Pretty big update today. Here is all the issues that have been fixed!
https://github.com/Bdoom/Veritex/issues/65
Not to mention that we now have a working single player mode, and all actions should work in first and third person now.
If these fixes are working, and valid. We will be reintroducing the animals and mobs back into the game. Once this has been done, we can finally attempt to start adding more FUN features such as caves, and improvements to the world itself.
Good luck everyone, and happy surviving.
The 4/20/2018 update should be out in a few hours.
Thanks,
~Bdoom
Update 4/11/2018
Hello Veritex community!
Please check out our github for all resolved issues since last release.
Some of the fixed issues are not documented. Some of which are directly related to technical issues with which would not be understandable to the average player.
I hope everyone enjoys this release and gives honest feedback.
Once we get everything up and running, we can add new features!
Thanks,
~Bdoom
3/28/2018 Update
Hello Everyone,
The latest version of Veritex has no persistancy on the server. This essentially means that your player data will not be saved to a database currently. The old implementation of the database caused massive issues on production servers. This was the main cause of lag, however there are a few issues.
These changes are completely based around the back end and would not be obvious to players. Once optimizations are fixed, the goal will be to implement more "gameplay" fixes, and then finally, add more features.
Thanks for reading!
Update
Hello Everyone,
The release was not what I expected! I'm sorry everyone. The server was only able to handle what seemed like at maximum 8 concurrent users before taking a big dive with lag. I will need to look into the server, optimize it, and this WILL take time.
If you have any questions, you can still join our Discord and chat.
These issues are mostly based around Net code based on initial analysis.
Thanks,
Bdoom

Veritex Update
Hello Everyone:
I am the solo developer working on Project Veritex. I was wondering how you would feel if I released the game, in it's current state. I currently know there are a few crashes that I am aware of, however, they are inconsistent and non-reproducible. However, I was thinking that I could fix the issues as they occur. Just spinning this out to you guys. Tell me what you think!
I really would appreciate being able to fix issues as they occur.
