OUR NEW GAME: FORGE AND FIGHT IS NOW OUT IN EARLY ACCESS!

We're soooooo excited ( and nervous!) for you all to get your hands on Forge and Fight which is NOW LIVE, and we have a 15% launch DISCOUNT going on RIGHT NOW!

But what is Forge and Fight?
Forge and Fight is a wacky, and fun, weapon-crafting multiplayer action game. Each round, you are given random parts to work with to create as an effective, silly or random weapon as possible, to help you fight your way through each round against other players or bots.

Outside of that, for those who have been keeping an eye on the game, we have a whole bunch of new things for you to check out, both in and out of the game:

Rage has been restored!



Another update just came out today, minor but important fixes!

Here's what we did:

  • The saws at Level 96 RAGE are no longer disjointed
  • Upgraded engine for greater stability

Sneaky meatballs and long term support stuff!

Minor update coming out today, specifics below!



Here are the changes we made:

  • Did some detective work and put a missing meatball back in its place
  • Integrated the Twitch leaderboards into steam to offer better long-term support. Sadly this meant existing times were cleared for that leaderboard. This change does not affect any other leaderboards.
  • Minor stability upgrades

Physics and leaderboard fixes!

Due to some weird physics interactions in a few levels and leaderboard inconsistencies we've pushed another patch!

Here are the changes we made:

  • Made rogue physics objects consistent for each run
  • The client will now be a bit more persistent in uploading leaderboard scores
  • Cleared level 31 (High Ground) leaderboard as the top scores were unobtainable in the game's current version. Sorry about that!

Hardcore Marathon update!

Due to popular request we have tweaked the Hardcore Marathon challenge to only include 30 levels instead of the previous 100. Hopefully this will remove some of the grind of completing all achievements of the game without removing any of the difficulty.

We also added some missing localization strings, huzzah!

Quick hotfix today!

We've noticed some issues that we wanted to fix really fast so we've just pushed a hotfix.

Stuff we did:
- Added maximum framerate cap, default is 120 frames per second but you can adjust it in the settings-menu
- Added option to turn on Vertical Sync
- Added speedometer due to popular request
- Fixed white thumbnails for community levels
- Fixed shinyness of objects in community levels
- Keybindings are now properly saved when exiting the game
- Added epilepsy warning to the splash screen
- Removed our favourite athlete from the level editor

Launch date! New trailer! Steam page overhaul!

Hi everyone! We are proud to announce that we will be launching Verlet Swing on September 18th, 2018! Along with this announcement, we have redone our store page and we have cut a new trailer that shows off the final look of the game!

Verlet Swing Beta Patch #3

Hey everyone! We pushed a small patch today to fix a few things.

Here's what we fixed

  • Palm trees now look normal again.
  • Tutankhamun is no longer planning something shady...
  • Excessive spam of restarts doesn't cause huge memory issues any more.


Known issues

  • Extremely rapid and excessive spam of restarts can still cause minor memory issues and may even make the game crash.

Verlet Swing Beta Patch #2

Hey everyone! In preparation for our beta competition, we have pushed out our second beta patch today!

Here's what we've fixed

  • Memory leak fixes
  • Leaderboards should now be even more stable
  • "PREVIOUS LEVEL" button added to the pause menu! YAY!
  • Level changes
  • Some other quality of life improvements


Here are some issues that are still lurking around.

  • If you spam-restart a level, you will probably get a memory leak and eventually crash your computer, we're working on a fix.
  • Some palm trees have escaped the chains of space and time.
  • Tutankhamun seems to be planning something shady...
  • Other stuff, please keep submitting bugs and feedback!


Our focus right now is to smash bugs.
No level design changes will be made during the beta to avoid meddling with the competition.

Leaderboards for changed levels have been cleared, other level leaderboards have been kept.
All challenge leaderboards have been reset.
