What's coming next to Veterans Online
Hello Veterans,
In recent weeks, many of you expressed their enthusiasm and eagerness for Veterans Online and its future as we received countless messages asking about what’s coming next? What are we currently working on? Where are we heading with the game?
In this blog post, we will share with you, our dear players, where we are in the development of Veterans Online, and what are our plans for the coming future.
When we released Veterans Online on the 22nd of May, the Nuked Cockroach team was working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The situation affected our schedule, however through adversity, we launched the game on Steam and many of you discovered and came to enjoy Veterans Online. Working remotely brought one positive aspect, we moved our studio offices to a bigger space which will allow us to accommodate more members as we are growing and looking to grow even more our team to bring you the best possible experience.
Now with the interesting part, what are we currently working on? To keep it short, we are working on a significant update, coming Late September 2020 that will kickstart our marketing and promotional efforts. Now I hear you asking, what’s in this update?
This is a non-exhaustive list of what we are currently working on:
A new map with the territory control mode
A reworked networking that will improve your game experience and allow us to bring our gameplay ideas to life.
Improved Matchmaking
New playable tutorial
Improved Quality of Life (Chat, Tips, UX, etc..)
Ping System
NeoTesla Mode rework
Streamer achievements
Major Bug Fixes
New customization assets
We are also working on a roadmap that we will showcase in October, detailing our vision for Veterans Online future. So stay tuned and see you on the battlefields of Veterans Online.

Attention Veterans, reports from the frontline tell of new changes and fixes to Veterans Online.
Performance:
Frame rate is now capped to 120 Fps.
Accessibility:
System notification added to login screen
Video tutorial added.
Added shop and weapon crates UI elements.
Fixed default resolution to be 1920x1080x60.
Optimizations:
Better matchmaking for quick play matches.
Improved networking (fixes to disconnections and server crashes).
Audio:
Added pan override for flags, mines and Traps.
Fixes:
Key binding now works as intended.
You can now move while checking the scoreboard.
UI interaction problem when respawning while Shop is open.
Reload UI not displaying when moving.
Cursor interaction when respawning.
Chat server fixes for better connection stability, both regional and ingame chat.
Misc:
Added 2 missing achievements description for all languages except English.
Removed Case-sensitive emails.
Added a feedback message when something goes wrong with the store.
Added Numpad Enter input key to interact with Chat inputfield.

We are currently having issues with Steam downloads, Veterans Online cannot be downloaded and it says there is a missing executable, we are currently working on fixing the issue. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we are counting on your understanding.
Veterans Online Release Date
We are excited to announce that Veterans Online is set for release on Steam on the 22nd of May 2020 at 12 PM PDT. We would like to thank our awesome community for their support and feedback during the development of Veterans Online.
