Update 3.0.1 (NPC Ally Update)

The newest update to Vintage Year contains NPC Allies to fight alongside with you. Here are some of the newest features.

  • NPC Allies

    • Allies are friendly characters that will follow you and fight alongside you in Story Mode.
    • Each NPC Ally costs ~250-450 corks and are kept permanently.
    • NPC Allies gain XP in-game and permanently level up. As they level up their stats improve. Your Ally will not be deleted or lose XP if they die.

  • Mystery Potion

    • Tables will occasionally contain a blue glowing mystery potion. Drinking it will add a clone of your current character to your team as an Ally.

  • "Luz" is now a primary Ally revival spell. If your primary Ally is dead the Relic Spirit will always provide the opportunity to select it.
  • Character Portraits are now displayed alongside health
  • Player HUD now displays health as a bar which changes color depending on your health percentage. The current health system has remained the same, however it is displayed differently.
  • New HUD element displays primary Ally health and experience to the left of the screen, below your portrait.
