Violet Wisteria patch #2

Some small but significant adjustments that should improve playability.

- Changed the hitbox on the running animation so that it should be easier to jump off ledges without falling (not coyote time though)

- Middle (white) worm on the boss of stage 2 no longer shoots acid at random! It's now in a predictable pattern. Also changed the acid color to stand out better against the background.

- Small fix on the background of stage 1

Update 2/24/2023

Fixed a few bugs and also added some functionality. The main changes are as follows.

- Players can now choose what stage to start from when playing on Practice mode, up to the last stage you've reached

- All worms on the boss of stage 2 now have hit boxes, not only the active one

- Boss 3 now has no hit box after dying

- Can no longer soft lock in stage 4-3

- Fixed moving floors overlapping with player in stage 6

- A couple bosses are easier, primarily stage 7

Possibly a couple other things I forgot.

Demo Version 2.0 now available

After receiving a lot of feedback that the first demo was much too hard, I've reworked some of the stage design and added features that will hopefully bring the challenge down significantly. Some new features you can expect to see are:

- No need to bounce off enemies vertically (rubber blocks instead, no collision damage)

- 5 health points instead of 4

- Visual feedback in the HUD to show which color attack is currently selected

- Overall easier stage design, particularly stage 2

I have also attempted to implement some behind the scenes optimization. Whether it works on other people's PCs I can't say. Anyways I hope those who were a bit discouraged by the difficulty of the first demo will give the new one a chance.

Demo update ver. 1.02

This update fixes a few small bugs that weren't game breaking for the most part but noticeable once you found them.

- Infinite magic bug fixed

- No longer crashes when entering special mode

- Fixed button input issue with magic select

- Minotaur no longer drops out sometimes during hitflash

- Other small gameplay tweaks

Demo update ver 1.01

I made some very small adjustments before Steam sends out the list of demos to the press for the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

- Renamed difficulty modes to "hypereasy" and "ultrahard"

- The easier difficulty setting is now the default

- Added analog stick support

- Added sfx when Minotaur takes damage

- Fixed a bug where player can clip into the water fountain
