Note about the early access and the Next Chapter
As most of you have probably already realized, the "at least four months" Early Access period is very near. Unfortunately, we were a bit too ambitious with this estimate. We've been wrong and wrong again with our estimates, and we'll probably be wrong again, so expect us to be.
With that said, and take this with a grain of salt, we expect the next chapter to be coming in early February, and the full game to release somewhere in Q2 2019.
Ending note
As always, we thank everyone who has been actively supporting us by providing very important feedback on the Steam forums, the Discord server, or via e-mail.
We'd also like to shout out a special thanks to our mods on the Discord server for giving us a helping hand on spreading the word, and keeping everything under control in the server! Send them a little word if you happen to be in the Discord server, they're always poking around!
A wonderful day to all of you!
Patch Notes [v1.3] — Multi-language support and controls re-bind
Hi there folks from all around the world!
New languages
Today we're happy to announce that Visage Early Access is now available in 9 additional languages. You'll easily see if your language is now supported, by checking the Steam Store Page. We plan to support more languages in the near future.
If your language is not supported yet, let us know through our social medias or in the comments section, so that we can get notified about your interest in having the game translated in your language.
Patch note
With patch 1.3, we have resolved quite a few bugs revolving around the newly joined inventory systems, and since we've received a lot of requests about controls rebinding, we have added the option to re-bind all keys with the keyboard and mouse control scheme. We've also fixed bugs associated with video settings, and extended the available video settings options.
The cool stuff - Fully Re-bindable controls scheme for keyboard and mouse
- New languages support
- More video settings options. The game should run smoother on low-end gaming systems, and look better on high-end gaming systems.
Notable bug fixes - Fixed most of the bugs associated with the joined inventory systems
- Fixed a bug where players were completely unable to use mouse clicks, and had to reload to fix the problem
- Fixed a bug where "Texture quality" was not applied when saving video settings
- Fixed a bug where "Anti-aliasing quality" was not applied when saving video settings
Save games
Unfortunately, if the game was updated from 1.002 (which is unlikely), your saved games will no longer be available. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Official Discord Server launch
We've launched an Official Discord Server, so you can chill with the Visage community, and help with the Early Access Development! Come say hello at https://discord.gg/visage. We're always lurking around and reading what you guys have to say about the game ;).
What's to come?
The following languages should be available in early December:
German
Turkish
Chinese Simplified
Korean
Japanese
We will always be actively fixing bugs and adding requested features, but our main focus is still on making the next chapter available.
Look forward to that, and we wish everyone a wonderful week!

Hello beautiful people from around the world!
Patch Notes
We've release Patch version 1.1, and it contains various changes, fixes, and balancing with the sanity system, and a small re-work of the candles mechanics.
To make sure you have the correct version, look for the version number upon launching the main menu screen, at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Let's start with the cool stuff:
We have added sockets throughout the house in key places where candles can be easily placed and managed.
"Sanity dangerously low" message now clearly explains that only pills will keep you sane at this point.
The brain fog HUD icon is now RED, and will help the player determine faster and easier that he should find ways to fix his sanity.
Candles tips are much clearer, and all gameplay mechanics associated to them are properly described.
Collected Matryoshka doll are now displayed on the second floor balcony.
And now the general Gameplay improvements and "ease of life" changes:
Crashes - Fixed all reported crashes associated with gameplay elements (notably after picking the safe key)
Bugs - It is no longer possible to lose key items (notably the safe key) due to auto saves.
HUD - You can now properly click on Accept, and Decline, instead of having to press "E" or "F"
HUD - Escape is now a valid navigation key.
Controls - Inverted Y has been added in the controls options menu
Video - Sharpen AA has been added in the video options menu
Gameplay - Car door key now properly display "Unavailable in Early Access"
We hope some of these fixes will help everyone get through unnecessary difficulties, and we will keep on reading your comments and feedback in order to improve your experience.

Minor Patch Notes [v1.004] — Day One
Hello to all of you wonderful people!
We are overwhelmed by the absolutely positive reception of the game, so here's a thank you to everyone who supports us, and everyone who's tagging along on the journey!
With that said, here's the patch notes for version 1.004. It contains minor fixes that improves "general quality" of the HUD, and Dynamic Inventory system. Since it's our first official Public Patch, we wanted to keep things simple.
Tips for Candles is now much clearer. Candles remain the same, but it's much clearer as to what players should do with it:
"Candles are stationary lights that can be lit with a lighter.
Moving around with a candle will cause it to extinguish.
They last a long time, and act as light sources that help increase your character's sanity."
We have removed the multiple pills effect to a single and simpler one. Taking pills will now only quickly increase a small amount of sanity. This will prevent players with dangerously low sanity from losing sanity faster than the pills' effects.
Minor collision changes that were obstructing dynamic items.
Trying to store a "Dynamic Item" when your inventory is full now correctly tells you that your inventory is full.
We have added minor hints throughout the chapter to make the experience a little more "progressive".
Fixed a bug where it was possible to save the game while examining static objects, and could cause the item to be unavailable on load.
Various minor changes.
We are aware of the general consensus that the inventory is "wonky" at first. It was designed to be somewhat complex, to add a small layer of difficulty managing the Sanity. We have some ideas about introducing a game difficulty option.
Also, we acknowledge that some people get frustrated with candles and lighter. We hope the Tip clarification will help. At the moment, we've decided to make only minor changes to the inventory. We will keep on reading your comments and feedback, and we'll see about what changes need to be made.
If you have suggestions, or wish to report a bug, please check the Steam Community Discussions!
