We have updated Visceral Cubes with a couple new features. The flaregun, incendiary grenade and a couple more features. You can check out a video of them down here. The flaregun should now appear in the spawn and the first grenade is in the back of the research area. We'll post more details about this update soon.

An update for Visceral Cubes will be available in a couple days where we'll be adding weapons to the game, bugfixes and enhanced stealth mechanics. You'll be able to test these mechanics if you play the game again, but in truth these are a means for preparation for the next campaign, which we hope you enjoy.

UPDATE #2 - Hard Difficulty Now Available!
Visceral Cubes 1.1.10 is now online!
Hard difficulty now available!
You can now play the game on hard difficulty, which will increase the number of enemies, speed and area of detection. We encourage you to use stealth by moving while crouching and look for the new medkit pickups so you can take more explosions. In this mode, a new section of the station is also available.
Other fixes and new Stuff
Rear Cam. When the player is being chased, a rear cam will now be activated to help the player keep better track of the enemies. The rear cam can be deactivated via the pause menu.
Medkit Pickup. A new pickup is now scattered on the station, it will raise your health up to 300 HP. This will enable you to survive one direct explosion for 150 DMG. But you won't survive another one.
More Documents. New leftover docs will give a bit more context to the game world a well as well as serve as hints for the "tasks" in the new section of the station.
Performance Improvements. The frame rate should be higher at certain areas, specially at the lab.
Difficulty Balancing. Depending on which difficulty you choose to play on, the enemies will be faster and their detection ratio larger.
Crouching Improvements. Moving while crouching will now reduce the chances of being detected. If you plan to get near an enemy, crouch... careful, if you are close enough, you'll get detected as soon as you stand up.
Pickup sounds. Wherever you pick a medkit, key or toy, you will now hear a sound.
Timescale Bug Fix. A rare bug where the game froze after reloading the scene was fixed.
AI Path-finding refinements. The AI is now more accurate at the time of chasing the player. The enemies are harder to shake off.
New Doc Container. A new blue container has been implemented, the old black one didn't look well in certain dark areas.

We are looking for ways to show the detection ratio of the enemies to further improve the gameplay.
Also, we want to apologize for the long time it took us to update the game with this new content, from time to time we get a streak of bad luck, in this case it was in the form of some power outages that damaged some of the equipment used to develop/test our games.

About hard mode.........
Hello Everyone
As you all have read, one of the upcoming updates will add a new difficulty to the game. But what is it so special about this mode? you may ask. We are aiming to create a different experience from the current game mode, the AI will now be a relentless and a very accurate chaser, this will make you think twice about using stealth or not.
Enemies will grow in numbers and there will also be changes to the progression of the "quest" that will have you explore new areas from the station. The update will also bring other gameplay features such as a rear cam to keep track of your chasers and refinements to the enemy detection when crouching.
We hope you revisit the station to play in hard mode and that you enjoy this new experience. Hard Mode will be available at some point, next weekend.
And hopefully, the weekend after you'll be playing the new SpeedRun mode where the whole station will be after your guts.

The bug were the elevator at the lab was not working properly has been
fixed.
A bug that was causing the gas chamber to not open has been fixed.
Fixed a bug that was impeding the triggering of the endgame when using
the lever.
After the game ends, the cursor is now visible again.
You can no longer pause the game during the ending.

Don't hesitate to post about any bug you find. We will still be working on balancing the game difficulty, such things as the sigh range, speed and awareness of the enemies may change in the upcoming days. For now, we just recommend you to avoid getting too close to the enemies and run if you are spotted. We hope to also add new features to the core mechanics hoping to increase the enjoyment of the game and the upcoming DLC.
