Patch 2.1 Hotfix Update
A hotfix for patch 2.1 has been released! Now all the UI animations should be fixed. Not only that I modified them to not obstruct Ultra Wide Resolutions aswell. Some elements has been added to stage 2 to improve the aesthetics. I wonder if you can find the changes? ( ๑‾̀◡‾́)σ"

[Patch 2.1] Shout Out to Speedrunners and Patch Notes.

This is the last major update for Vitamin Girl. No more updates will be made after this only if incredibly game breaking bugs are reported I might update it.

SHOUT OUT TO SPEED RUNNERS
Thanks a lot to all the japanese speedrunners for trying speedrunning my game. This game is very obscure so there being a small community of speedrunners makes really happy!



I just wanted to say that this update does not ruin your speedrun times. I deliverately left all the skipsthere. Sadly I can't find some of the first speedruns on Twitch anymore, but Twitch user "johndoe_774" is actively trying to get the best time in the game. Thank you very much!


Patch Notes for Version 2.1:

Text
-The text font for majority of the game was changed for most languages. It doesn't use the default UE font anymore.

-Incorrect text was corrected in Spanish and Japanese. (Such as saying you have to press shift to use the break in japanese, but it's actually Ctrl)

Bugs, Levels and Logic
-A bug were the high score for Cans and Best Times weren't saving correctly was fixed.
-Kill zones were added behind stage finishing stars for some stages. Before you were stuck on a wall, being forced to restart the level.
-Some 3D models, such as trees, streets, etc, were moved to be more pleasing to the eye. Some of the were floating in the air.

-A bug were some some UI elements such as speech bubbles were animated incorrectly was corrected. All animations play as they should now.

Music and Sounds
-Music for Vitamin Girl mode intros was changed, the new one is composed by t12ya from DOVA-SYNDROME

-Music for stage results was changed, the new one is composed by VeryGoodMan from DOVA-SYNDROME

-Ingame credits were adjusted to credit these artists
-Sound effects for steps were changed.
-Sound effect for when you gain a life has changed.
-Ingame voice volume for Vitamin Girl was lowered. (Speech bubble grunts stay the same)
