Game Update: Mac Crash and Final Battle Fixes
Hi All!

We've just pushed an update addressing the crash issues for Mac users. Players should now also be able to successfully continue after defeating Vlad.

Please make sure you exit steam and download the update. Before attempting to play again.

Hi All!

We've just pushed a patch fixing some of the issues introduced with our previous update. Below you'll find a list of the additions:

Gameplay

  • Achievements are now working correctly
  • Fixed an issue where players couldn't continue after beating Vlad.
  • Fixed an issue where players die when successfully charming Vlad.
  • Fixed an issue where player is shown incorrect text on death.
  • Fixed instance of incorrect quest text showing in Basilica.


Improvements

  • Added SFX when player mouses over a quest name
  • Improved chapter video performance.
  • Changed flavor text for chapter deaths.

Gameplay Update: New Features, Encounters, Artwork and More!
We are happy to announce that our latest Vlad update is now available! Some additions have been made to enhance your gameplay experience. Additions include: Updated Art, the ability to choose your quests and weapons, in-game character sheet, new chapter encounters and new challenges based on your stats.

UPDATED ARTWORK
In addition to making various UI and Quest Art improvements we’ve also added a new illustration for defeating Vlad.

QUESTS
You can now choose from a list of quests in each location. This allows you to focus on making more logical choices to drive particular stats. Quests now appear in a more logical order.

WEAPONS
You are now able to choose your weapon based on stats, which allows you to tailor your character. Rare weapons now appear under special conditions as well.

PLAYER STATS
You can now view your stats, attacks, and weapons at any time from the map screen. Each attack listed will also display which stats drive that action.

CHAPTER ENCOUNTERS
In every chapter, there are now encounters where you must make a decision based on your stats. If you make an illogical choice and have insufficient stats, you risk your character’s life.

PLAYER DEATHS
You must now think more carefully when making decisions in quests and combat. If any stat reaches 0, you will die.

  • Fixed Video playback memory issue.
  • Fixed certain issues with battle decisions.

Steam Achievements and Trading cards are on their way in the next update! You'll now be able to earn both by playing as different characters and making different moral choices on each playthrough.
