Had to fix build since the past build was just a folder
V0.1.6 Patch #2
Hey dudes, back with a patch again. And as usual, even more bug fixes that most people reported to me. Since I'm also back from vacation it means I might be starting work on V0.1.7, IF this patch fixes most of the important bugs.
Network + Upon leaving a room, everything should save and now you will be sent back to the main menu + Connecting has now status (VERIFYING ROOM ID | CONNECTING) + When disconnected from rooms there will be a message stating the reason (DISCONNECT | KICK | BAN | HOST LEFT)
Gameplay + Falling into the water now in bridge should kill you, so you can't by pass it (muahaha) + Stairs should be easier to walk + Stuck issues should be now all fixed, I'm not sure if it is completely gone however + "Bridge" has its spawns fixed, and some spawns have been added in the middle + Armour now saves, as before it was broken
Other + "Mustache Glasses" now are visible + Game should take less to open (idk if it did change anything lol) + Painkillers hopefully don't delay gun usage now
I might have not listed everything in the patch notes, but oh well. And also if the update isn't out on library, try restarting Steam and then update might be there.
V0.1.6 Patch #1
Sup, this update is mostly bug fixes that I found or that people reported to me, also I wasn't able to add voicechat in this version as I had some issues and wanted to release this new version as soon as possible
Network + Hopefully no more loading loops, and now it should just keep the loading screen disabled for clients as an easy fix + Fixed an issue for when host disconnected which was meant to delete the room host made too + Invite only should now work, report it to me if it still doesn't + Joining random servers should now work as before they were not working well
Gameplay + Hopefully fixed some micro lag apikes when turning around + Zombie scoreboard is fixed now + When leaving rooms all of your stats should save now + Grenades should now show the correct killer + Smoke grenades should work, please report them if they stills are broken
Other + Killfeed shouldn't duplicate, hopefully + Changed some jump and landing animations + Fixed the firefighters pants trxture, since they were corrupted + Inventory should now show all items, and if they don't I'll recode the Steam Inventory system
P.S: I maybe forgot to list some stuff in the patch notes as I have brain memory of a gold fish
I forgot to fix a issue in bridge where you can go trough the water and not die, I'll fix that in Patch 2 along with the glasses and mustache cosmetic which is invisible
V0.1.6 release
Sup, this update took a while (I'm very sorry, hope future updates won't take as long) and has new featutes to play with.
Network + Completely new networking system, which was what delayed the update + New server system, they won't fill up anymore so a lot of people can play! + New server settings, say bye to passwords and welcome to lobby types! × There's definitely going to be some issues with new networking, we will try fixing them
Gameplay + New map for Zombie Infection; Infected Pripyat, alongside the game-mode working now + All maps halloween and fall themed (Halloween decorations are gone at November 18th) + No more scoreboard duplicates, they are now fixed + Certain overpowered guns are now restricted with level limits + Levels are now useful, example: Exoskeletons are disabled if host level is less than 9 + New crouch sounds that I think fit better than the past sounds + New awesome guns; SVD, Tommy Gun and Double Barrel × Modified sound range, so no one can hear your footsteps from a mile away × Vehicles are temporarily removed, they will be back soon
Other + Ragdolls now have muscle contractions and force added to them upon death + When falling from a great height, your vharacter screams + Ban and kicking system have been added for hosts + New explosion effects, that are epic! + Blood splatter on death screen, if head was destroyed or deformed × The character now stops doing low or high pitched noises upon damage
ALSO! THERE MIGHT BE SOME ISSUES SUCH AS RANDOM DISCONNECTING, AND SUCH. IF THEY DO HAPPEN REPORT THEM IN OUR DISCORD SERVER OR IN THE DISCUSSIONS
V0.1.6 Progress so far
Hello everyone, we decided to make this post for the people that aren't in our Discord server (where we talk about the progress of V0.1.6) in which we explain so far how much we think V0.1.6 is done, and what we have added.
Below here is the most important stuff we added (by that we mean, the first things you will see in the new update): GAMEPLAY: -Crouching delay, to stop the CTRL spam -New Weapons: Double Barrel, SVD and Tommy Gun -Levels are finally worth something! Instead of levels being a visual look, they can now impact the weapon store and high tier guns can only be bought if you have the enough requirements (gold and level)
MAPS: -New Infected Pripyat for Zombie Infection -Changes to Zombie Town -Halloween Themed Maps
Yes it may look like its not a lot, because we are adding more stuff that we want to keep as a surprise or they are small to notice.
But why is it taking so long if these are finished? Because we are doing a network update, and that requires us to recode most of the game (don't worry, the gameplay will still be the same) to change our network system. The new networking will allow for a lot of players to play and cause more chaos in rooms!
And last, below here is screenshots of Bunker, and Infected Pripyat with me holding the new guns

So for now you won't be able to play the game as I'm rewriting most of the code to support even more quantity of players without denying the others with an error.
This should be esaminated to be 1-4 days, or a week.
V0.1.5 Patch #2
So this is another patch to fix even more stuff that were absent in the 1st patch.
Gamemodes · Zombie Infection should work now, if it has any issues feel free to report them in the dicussions page
Gameplay · Getting stuck on objects has been hopefully reduced · Memory leaks should be fixed (i don't even know lol, if it still happens tell me!) · Freezing has been reduced even more · In the future, events may occur! Feel free to join our discord server to know when it happens!
General · Camera tilt/bob options save now · Fov slider shouldn't randomize anymore

V0.1.5 Patch #1
So this is an update that should fix out most bugs, hopefully freezes, and other stuff.
Gamemodes · Freezing has been reduced, but still happens for only a blink of an eye
Gameplay · Zombie Infection works
General + Added how to play page + On options camera bob and camera tilt can be toggled on or off · Server list should show all active servers · Winners third level should show up now · Winner images are high quality · Steam invites work · PP19 has a description · MP5KA4 shouldn't show anymore a floating arm when running · Error screen now lets you click
I didn't include some as they were small to notice, but most of these were in low-high priority
Voice of Chernobyl Update
The First "Steam" update, this is a big update so I may not list everything in the change-log as the changes are small to notice, or I want you guys to find out by your selves! Sorry for the delay (9 months), As I wanted all of the new features in, and also to look good!
Networking · No more dataloss, all your statistics is saved through Steam! · Bandwidth usage is hopefully reduced
Gamemodes + Theres a new round over screen, showing the Top 3 players · Zombie Infection and Melee Fight has been fixed
Gameplay + Character Customization is powered by Steam, you can now earn Cosmetics when you open crates or buying them (you can also sell the cosmetics and more!) + Cosmetics have more variety, they can have different colours or have unusual effects + The movement is physics based (expect more changes to it in the future) + Sliding has been added (just run and then crouch and you slide/glide) + Bleeding has been added (can be caused by sharp melee) + In the main menu you can see your Steam Friends on the right, you can invite them or message them + New death and pain sounds + Gore system is now more brutal: Headshots depend on where you shoot an enemy, shooting them in the jaw have their own gib, same with the frontal and occiptal lobe, and all of the gibs should sound/look good + Vehicles are now added for "Vehicle_Playground" [EXPERIMENTAL] + New footsteps that are better and that fit the game (when running they will be louder, have cloth/gear sounds and have more bass) · Exo-Skeletons have been changed · Audio Muffling (happens when a sound is far) is now enabled no matter what - Removed "Carnival" from Zombie Infection, as people prefered "Zombie Town" more - "Kicking" Movement has been removed (i was suppose to remove it back in test versions lol)
General + Brand new lighting that looks very good, is baked, and gives better peformance + New weapon bob (Its much smoother and looks x10 better than the old one) + Fists have their own animation when running + When starting the game a loading screen will show up + Main menu has a background ambience so it isn't empty anymore! + The higher the damage is, the more painful your screams will be + Settings include a new window named "Effect Settings" in which you can change: Color Grading | Ambient Occlusion | Motion Blur | Bloom · Most cosmetics have been changed, they might have a different model or were replaced with a new cosmetic · The loading screen has a transition, and will show the details of the room without a delay (if you have a poor connection it might delay) · The game size is now less, and has been optimized so it should run on most computers/laptops · The main menu is more UI friendly, it has transitions when going to different pages (next version will include camera transition) · For taunts I may add in the future a "taunt" section in the shop, so I don't have to replace taunts · Blood particle is better · Most materials or props have their reflective intensity lower, so it doesn't look like it has been bleached a million times · Changed Fists sounds - Removed the "Codes" and "Statistics" pages from the main menu, they may be re-added with new features or be replaced - Removed the Charging sounds
Weapons + New SMG: P90 + New Shotgun: Spas 12 + New Pistol: Deaglenator + New Melee: Pan + New Melee: Buritto · RPK and the VSS have high quality sounds · M9 Bayonet and Shadow Knife both got animation reworks
Maps + Reactor (futuristic/sci-fi reactor, available for tdm and dm) + Abandoned Base (rainy base took by nature, available for melee fight) + Graveyard (a field containing tons of cemeterys and a church, available for melee fight) · Modified Sniper Hideout and Bunker - Removed the Christmas theme to most maps
Bugs · Ladders finally work · Fixed some weapon descriptions · Fixed player names place incorrect when taunting · Weapons don't become white when using Vertex rendering · Fixed some other issues
Settings + New friendly UI + View Distance can be adjusted + Quality settings are easier to understand + New quality setting: Bean-PC (lowers down the game by a lot and force disables post processing) · Better shaders has been turned into pipeline (contains 3 settings: deferred, forward, vertex) · FOV can be changed now
