Launch Trailer is up

As we get closer and closer to release, we've decided to upload our launch trailer now for all to enjoy, as it very briefly shows the key elements of Void 21.

You can check out the trailer on our steam page or on our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-CZufC1Rcc.

Enjoy!

Closed Beta has begun!

Hello everyone,

We are proud to announce that as of yesterday, 16/03/2016 Void 21 has entered it's closed Beta phase. This means the title is now feature-complete and we're bringing the finishing touches and fixing all the lingering bugs prior to launch.

As our release date of 4th of April draws even closer, we are getting more and more excited to bring this game out for you all to enjoy and make a name for ourselves in the industry!

On release, Void 21 will support the Oculus VR headset out of the box, with Steam VR support to follow shortly once it's supported by the engine that we use, Unity 3D.

Post release, and after the EGX event between the 7th and 9th of April, our top priority is going to be porting Void 21 to Linux and Mac so that our fans can play regardless of choice in Operating System.

Stay tuned for more information!

Void 21 Demo v1.1 is out

Greetings everyone,

First of all, I would like to extend a big thank you for trying out our demo. A lot of you have downloaded it and played.

Some of you enjoyed it so much that you've made youtube videos and twitch streams about it, and we are glad to see you're enjoying the experience.

Now, a few people have reached out to us and notified us that the demo is a little too punishing. There are times when there are just too many enemies on screen and dodging them becomes impossible.

We've listened to your feedback and thus we've made the following changes:

- The ship now has a Shield Module installed in its second slot (previously Empty) which, once triggered by a single impact will make you invulnerable for 1 second. If you are to crash into a pillar, which is a non-destructible object, you will be thrown back a little bit and then can start moving forward again.

- The breaks have been made significantly more powerful, allowing the player to stop in a much shorter distance which can save them from some problematic enemies like the bombers or the windmills.

- Finally, we've recompiled the game for 32-bit instead of 64-bit as some players have requested this since they still run 32-bit editions of windows. This in turn should also lower the minimum processor requirement but as we haven't done any bench-marking yet, the specifications will remain the same for now.

Hope you enjoy the new elements and always remember to fight back!
