And those who have not yet bought Voltage, you still have about 7 days to buy it Winter Sale price! Year 2021 will bring price increase to the main game, due the next huge update... (read more below).
Incoming HUGE update
We are very excited to get a licence for the Game Guru MAX game engine, which will make a HUGE improvements to the main game and also bring new cool features, like a multiplayer! If new engine is not going to be released during January 2021, we will continue with the old one to add more levels. This MAX-update should bring these features (for example) to the main game:
Faster performance
Incredible new visuals
VR support
Photon for standalone multiplayer support
Photon Multiplayer (standalone multiplayer games, no need to own GameGuru MAX to play saved multiplayer games)
Mixed Reality VR Support (Use any Microsoft Mixed Reality Headset to play your single or multiplayer games in VR)
Multi-core Asset Loading
Perhaps the most fundamental enhancement over the classic version is the implementation of a new scene lighting model and world system to bring a greater sense of realism. For this engine developers have started from the ground up by throwing away the old shaders, terrain, grass and sky systems, replaced with the powerful 'Wicked Engine' for correct light and shadows, which will also feature scalable terrain system with improved geometry and texture control, multiple grass forms for realistic ground coverage, scalable tree rendering system and new dynamic cloud and weather system. Using these improved controls, even an empty world will look realistic and ready to explore (of course in Voltage you would not see empty worlds).
One of the most powerful additions to the software is the NEW character creation and behaviour system which features:
Quality art
Voice recording
Text to speech
Lip-syncing
Auto-gestures
Smooth transition animations
New characters can walk and talk with the player with a greater sense of realism.
Claim your free forever access to Voltage: Episode 2 DLC as soon as possible! Update to this DLC will be made on first half of 2021 and DLC will be changed from free to paid.
No one has been fired yet due our typing error. This offer about the main game does not recur!

Incoming April Extra Performance, Bugfix & GamePlay Update
We are currently working on a next big update to the main game (Voltage: Episode 1), which include GamePlay improvements, Extra Performance & Bugfix -updates, read more here:
Voltage Graphical & High Performance Update released!
Voltage Graphical & High Performance Update released
We are pleased to release the March update of Voltage, featuring some key fixes and a rather cool performance boost to keep your game running nice and fast. The core of the performance improvement, aside from shader tweaks, is the batching of similar entities just before the game starts. The draw call optimization only takes a few seconds during the level load phase but you get back so much more in terms of flat out frame rate.
On a typical i7 quad-core system running a GTX 1080 graphics card, level went from 99fps to 195fps with VSYNC switched off in the SETUP settings. That's almost a 100% improvement in game speed!
In addition to performance, this update contains the following fixes and tweaks:
F11 in Standalone no longer causes PBR debug layers to be rendered
New DOCDOC system added to code allowing a new 'Docs\SETUP INI Description.txt' doc to be auto-created
Improved MIXAMO FBX Importing (2-chain-finger in T-POSE), simply select 'Uber' in 'Is Character Field'
Added Convex Hull collision shape to the physics system, use by setting COLLISIONMODE in FPE to 9
Fixed EXPORTASSETS flag in SETUP.INI to correctly export unencrypted full entities with standalone
As you may know, a lot of our more recent work is going on in the background about Voltage: Episode 2, and part of a project that has been kept dark for the most part. What it means for Voltage players is further bug fixes and tweaks that will come from this second work branch, and possibly some new features. We are still determined to keep new features away until we have received big update to the engine, so expect the next update to be predominantly bug fixes and possible release of Episode 2 on Beta-mode.
Graphical settings have been set to maxium
Graphical settings are now set on Maximum. In case you don't want to use maximum settings, change settings on the game menu.
Achievement Fixed
Achievement didn't work on previous release, that has now been fixed. We are planning to add more achievements soon.
We hope you enjoy the Graphical & High Performance Update and look forward to bringing you another update or two before the summer, ensuring the game is both fast and stable for you to play!
Best regards

News about the game engine development
This is the announcement from the game engine development company. (When update is complete, Voltage and DLC:s will get some new functions/performance updates!):
We’ve been moving steadily (and stealthily 😉) towards a solid plan for 2020 and are super excited about the announcements we will be able to make very soon! Although you can probably guess it involves new UI, new multiplayer, new performance, new character creator and some new stuff that will make 2020 a year to remember in the history of GameGuru. We do listen intensely to our community but, being a small team, it takes us a little longer than the big boys to respond with improvements, however our official news later this year will hopefully be well worth the wait.
Ongoing Bug-Hunt competition
We would like to remind you about ongoing Bug-hunt competition: If you found a bug from Episode 1, you can post your report to here or under the topic on discussion area.
