VR Battle Grid

Finally, choose exactly where to place your ships!

By popular request and community demand, VR Battle Grid now lets you individually place your ships anywhere you like. Pretty sweet, right?

ZOMG! The audio voice quality is sooooo much better !!

Did your friends sound like egg yolks in a cup of bubbling cinnamon tea? Well, those "fun" days are over!

Starting today, voice quality is markedly improved and possibly sounds like it's from the 21st century.

Thank you earthlings for your patience. May you speak with the clarity of a thousand suns.

Mmm k. CHEERS m9!

Spectator cameras for your friends and family!

The game now offers three different spectator camera modes, which your friends and family can cycle through by hitting 'S' on the keyboard:

1. Fixed third person view
2. Stabilized first person view
3. Picture in picture combo view

Let me know which mode(s) you like the best.

Better looking ships

Small update which replaces the solid color of the ship models with something which looks a lot better.

Dutch translations just went live

Since I'm a native Dutch speaker, I decided to start my translation work with Dutch. I hope to add more languages over time.

If you'd like to help get this game translated, or have any suggests which you think would improve the current translations, please let me know (fredsa@gmail.com), so I can update them.

Thanks
Fred

Haptic feedback: really feelin' it!

Today's update brings greatly enhanced haptic feedback.

You can now "feel" the grid as you adjust your aim, and those explosions will feel a lot more personal.

Enjoy!
Fred

More accurate aiming

Updated laser pointer controls to fire by hair trigger, rather than full trigger pull. This should improve your aiming accuracy by avoiding accidental miss-aims due to inadvertent arm movement when pulling trigger.

Game logic fixes

A minor update with a few game logic fixes, mostly for multi player mode.

New in-game tutorial for new players

If you're new to VR Battle Grid, there's now a tutorial which helps you with the first few moves, and makes sure you successfully sink your first ship!

The tutorial currently goes away once you've played your first full game. A game ends when one player has sunk all of the other player's ships.
