In 2015, without any financial support, we developed the alpha version of VR Monster Awakens (VRMA) in nine months with a team of three.
The alpha version of VRMA was first launched in early access on Steam in December 2016. Thanks for some VR YouTubers’ loves, the game gained some supports in the first few months. Unfortunately, the result was not satisfied enough and the financial outcome was not sufficient to support the development cost at that moment. We made a tough decision, to suspend the development of VRMA.
However, we have not given up this passionate VR game project. From 2016 to 2021, we accumulated resources piece by piece from various VR/AR/MR projects we completed and grew our team size and skills.
Now, after we get through hard times, we are happy to announce the development of VRMA is resumed! More than that, it is rebuilt from ground up and will only be even better!
VRMA will be launched on Steam and Oculus Quest App Lab.

Unlock achievements!
Receive some health pots when you reached next area;
Fixed some objects that did not give score;
Fixed when objects are thrown, they may get through the ground;
Fixed main menu performance issue.

Big Arcade Mode Update!
v0.3.0 Hello Monsters! It has been a while since last update because we have been busy attending Taipei Game Show 2017. That is a great experience meeting players from all around the world. We are now back and ready to release our latest update on VR Monster Awakens!
Key changes for the upcoming patch:
Enhanced environment of Rainy Days;
Arcade mode mission now required to destroy as much as possible within certain survival time;
Show a warning message when getting too close to the edges of battle zone;
Added 3rd person cut-scene when defeated;
Scores and Rank are now available when area or stage cleared;
Reduced HP restore of health pot in boss battle;
Boss Tank laser can no longer be blocked, watch out!
Fixed eye-closing effect when critically hurt;
Fixed a bug for eye-closing effect after moving to next area;
Fixed hit detection for some of the buildings;
Fixed Tank AI;
Fixed helicopter crashing into buildings;
Fixed performance issue.
