Awww yeah... Thats right! 1.2gb of new content goodness - and for a new significantly lower price (finally!)
In this release the dance floor has been significantly re-worked as well as the particles are way more color dynamic with varying patterns and psychedelic swirls!
Try it out and let me know!

vrAMP Updates 8/26
Hello everyone,
I'm back... ;) In this update you will find 4 new mind chilling effects for your music experience!
Enjoy!

PS. I still haven't figured out a good way to capture the effects themselves in a video that gives you a good sense for what its like to be inside vrAMP, but am open to suggestions!
vrAMP update 7/10/16
Hi All,
This week I bring you a new icicles brush to paint dripping music with. Its pretty rad.
Also, an entirely new general tool called the smudge tool which allows you to move and mix stuff you already painted! Also very cool!
I'm going to make some new brushes soon which specifically take advantage of the smudge tool, so keep your eye on that.
As usual, demo video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Neal8tQA5Gk
Have Fun!

Hi All,
Lots of awesome changes! The big stuff...
Some new brushes.
1) Box brush has been totally re-done.
2) Glow Vines (two of them)
Among other things, a crash fix or two and improved hand menu (but still not done, just tweaked).
Happy 4th of July!!

PS. Possibly finishing some changes to teleport the camera around this weekend.
vrAMP updates for 6/23
Hello Steam Sale!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfrEwr6-vko
In this update, there is a new hand mechanic for selecting brushes to draw with. While still in development, this early functionality for easily selecting brushes is very useful!
Simply grip the controller and a radial menu appears where your hand is. While gripping, rotate the controller to point at what brush you want to select. Loosen your grip to select that brush!
Also, the visuals of the beat tubes and beat surfaces have improved. The beat tubes look more like a semi-translucent light tubes, rather than a black tube. Looks much cooler.
Best,
Jon
vrAMP update for 6/18
Two more visualizations added!
The recently added effects were so awesome, that the old effects needed some upgrades... so all the other effects were improved as well :)
Also, the vive was really pixelated compared to the rift, this issue is now fixed!
Some very basic (two different) musical painting brushes are live in the latest default build, however this is very very early beta with the painting tools. I have so much to do there. Look for more updates here in the coming week. (Perhaps even tomorrow)
One thing of note is I think erasing brush stokes could be improved on vs TiltBrush. It always seemed like it could be much better to me, so I'm working on the delete tool next and I expect it to be pretty awesome :) It should be much more like a Z-brush like tool, and less like deleting entire brush strokes.
Join me in the discussions on various musical painting topics!
Enjoy!

vrAMP update for 6/3
We've added three new visualizations!
vrAMP update/patch notes for 5/30
Two more visualizations have been added
Improvements made to majority of effects
Beat detection tweaked and improved
The previous three effects are excluded from being played again
Unfreezing now listens and switches effects immediately
Rift Audio is now fixed. vrAMP will now play the included catalog of music in the Rift without switching devices. Sound from all sources is still picked up, enabling you to listen with your preferred sound device.
Coming soon... We're going to finish naming all of the effects and publish screenshots of each to better communicate with the community and through our patch notes.
The promised new video is in the works showing off recent changes and additions.
Please let us know if you have any feedback or questions!
vrAMP Update/patch notes for 5/28
Based on feedback we've made some improvements on the current visualizations.
Particles now react more quickly to the beat
Pulsing with light to the treble now more visible
Removed Fire visualization
Removed Tornado visualization
Fixed an issue with the xbox controller D-Pad 'Down' not changing visualizations
Added more keybinds for all functions on keyboard, current binds are:
Space or Enter - Play / Pause music
I or Arrow Up - Toggle Particle Quality
J or Arrow Left - Previous Song
L or Arrow RIght - Next Song
K or Arrow Down - 'Freeze' - Stay on current visualization. 'Unfreeze' - move from current visualization.
Known Issue - Forced visualization switching with the Freeze/Unfreeze appears to not work, it's working, but sometimes it feels it knows best for that beat and starts the same visualization over. It will be taught not to disagree with users this weekend.
