Important Update about the Remake Project
Hello folks!
It has been a year and a half since we have started the project to remake Wanda, based on the various feedback we received throughout the years. We have originally planned to release the remake as a simple free update at first.
However, due to certain publishing problems we are facing right now, we decided to release the remake as a separate game, under a completely new title in the future.

Hello!
I recently saw a comment asking about the progress on the remake and realized it's about time we make another update. The remake progressing steadily.
Progress is slower than the original version because we are updating the entire game from scratch while also adding extra playable contents.
Remember these two robots?
Originally, we added the story about Green bot and Yellow bot from the past as a hidden story, that a player could access from collecting images scattered in the wasteland. It was a relatively simple story.
We decided to expand that side-story in the remake. This will give a great chance to look into the past, where the world was still intact and lively. In the original game, we told the story about Green Bot and Yellow Bot with nothing but static pictures. However, in the remake, you will be able to explore, interact and experience a brand new story!

We improved the game's visual quality greatly in the remake, but as a result, it took considerably longer than we expected. Nevertheless, the remake is progressing well and a demo is coming up very soon!

Wanda - A Beautiful Apocalypse Remake Update #2
Wanda has been generally criticized for its pacing being very slow in the early part of the game. We have worked hard to smooth the pacing and reduce the clunky experience from the original version. All the maps are reworked and they have better overall sense of immersion and directions now.

New Scene
We have also decided to add extra contents, such as new optional areas and puzzle-stages to encourage exploration. We hope these bring more depth to the mysterious world this game presents and will be engaging for the players.

And here is the newly added puzzle stage. It is one of the early puzzles, so it will not be overly complex. The UI for the mobile version are there and looks cluttered for now, it will be fixed as we progress on.

News on Major update #1 : A complete ReMake with new Engine!
Despite some lukewarm responses from some players, we felt like we failed to bring the game to its full potential. There are several flaws that we overlooked when we first released the game due to our tunnel vision. Our primal goal was to make a game with subtle narrative that tells a story without saying a single word. This obsession blinded us from seeing a greater picture and created a jarring experience with gameplay and immersion for some. Also, the limitation we had with the game engine brought many technical issues, ruining the experience for some players.
Update : Roadmap
This is where we decided to remake the entire game with a new engine. This is not going to be direct port. We are going to enhance the every aspect of the game, add extra contents, iron out the flaws to create smoother gameplay and greater immersion and over all, better experience for the players.
The subtlety of storytelling and storyline itself and Steam achievements will be left untouched. The game will also be released for multiple major platforms; PC, Mac, Linux and Mobile. Those who already own the game on Steam will have a new enhanced version as an update with no extra cost.

The first DLC for Wanda is here! It is a short graphic novel with re-imagined scenes from Wanda. It has been selected and printed in "The Art of Graphic Novel" by UWA, but now you can get it too!
