Hello everyone :)
Today I have a new patch update that will change the look of Wanderjahr.
/ Adjust the game to be HD widescreen mode (1280 x 720p).
/ Support controller control. (Suggest XBox360 controller and driver that support winmm.lib.)

Adjust exp give when replay the stage while team level still not exceed suggest level. Also reduce some monster HP on stage 2 to make gameplay faster.

Fix some minor issues about text and GUI display.
Adjust level cap in some stages, make the game more challenging.

Fix bug that sometimes using special attack will cause game freeze.
Fix bug that sometimes using research skill by researcher will cause game freeze.
Add some work around on issue that sometimes some antivirus program will block the game from starting.

Improve English translation in all parts of the game.
Adjust some balance in stage1 to make game play smoother.

About the JRPG genre :)

We noticed some questions about the game's genre, so we decided to describe more.

Hello, the developers would like to clarify some ideas about the game.
About the JRPG genre. This game was created from inspiration of JRPG games such as Final Fantasy series. The game Utilized basic elements of JRPG such as ATB gauge, status ailment, elements system, skills, level-up system and battle tactics of JPRG.

Aside from the RPG elements, another element in the game was adapted from Tower-defense style game's flow like in game such as Plant VS Zombies(PVZ). As the development began, the style of the game's flow in Tower-defense games like PVZ was used as a reference in directing the game's flow.

During the development of this game. The ever-popular 2009 PC game (before mobile platform became mainstream), Plant VS Zombie, proceeded to became the template and style of many games to come whether they are PC or mobile games until these days. This may be the reason we believe that "The Look" of our game might appears familiar to some games or mobile games.

We strongly encourage players to try investing some time in our game. The core gameplay of the game is different from Clicker games category. The battle system in this game is an adaption of JRPG battle system with various tactics and formations to utilize, not just pump clicking and not Tower-defense game.

For the game's pace, the early section of the game which is the tutorial section might feel somewhat slow for some players. This is because we would like to make sure that players understand the concepts of the game's mechanics firmly. As the game proceed into later stages and many more challenges are presented. Players will need those concepts to proceed further in the game.

PS. This game is not mobile port. The game is original made for PC.
