We recently heard about an ongoing exploit that allowed players to jump really high and made an update to make address that. It's still possible to make a big jump but players can't skyrocket them into the sky anymore.
We also took the opportunity to make a little improvement for the custom server : We finally fixed and improved the joining process of a custom server. The game will now properly subscribe to the workshop item, download it, display the progress in game and automatically join once it's downloaded!

There are now 6 Community-led War Dust Events every week! A full 6 hrs of intense and exciting battle take place every week (Saturdays and Sundays 2 hrs. and Wednesdays 2 hrs.)!
Schedule:
Every Saturday and Sunday:
Official Rotation Event: 3 PM EST (9PM CET, 8 PM BST) Custom Maps Event: about 4 PM EST (10 PM CET, 9 PM BST)
Every Wednesday:
Custom Maps Event 1: 3 PM EST (9 PM CET, 8 PM BST) Custom Maps Event 2: 9 PM EST (3 AM CET, 2 AM BST)
During Official Rotation Event, when you hear the in-game message to switch to Custom Maps, go back to menu at the end of the match. Then, click on the custom server on the left to download the map. Close and reopen WD and click on the server again to enter the map. Once you have downloaded a map it will always be instantly available when playing custom servers.
Anytime is a great time to play War Dust, and these special times are even more intense and exciting than ever as we flood the servers for exciting battles filled with real players and all the chaotic glory that is War Dust at its best!

After over a month of work (of course, not every day) , a new "old" map has been added to WarDust. It has been fully reworked from the ground up with a lot of love for every detail. With the new train system (stops on stations, audio fx, animations), snowmobiles, underground base, falling snow and more, I hope you will enjoy it!
PS. Please be aware that due to the complexity of the network code for the new train, some bugs might occur. They will be looked after!

- First attempt to fix a random bug causing loss of control over the character when leaving a vehicle. - Added special parachute skins for last month's leaderboard winners. - Made a couple of tweaks to climbing on some objects. - The Kussnacht map shouldn't appear so often in the rotation.
