In this update : - Increased room cap from 40 to 46 real players. - Fixed not working next room creation if room1 is full. If room1 is full, then room2 will be created. Players should stay in this room for next matches. If you want to join room1 (for example it's not full anymore), you need to go back to main menu (button on right side in spawn room) and join official rotation, then game will choose first free room available. Information about which room currently you are in is available in spawn room on stats window (right hand side). This was the cause of problems with joining game on Sunday (40 player cap, 50 players in game), room1 was full, room2 didn't exist. - Added VERY EARLY PROTOTYPE of sticky bomb.(thanks @Evol Hardy for making model). Because it's based on frag grenade, to arm it , you need to pull pin like in frag, it's in the middle, where red cube is. Velocity of throw is 50% of frag as a initial stat. . Handy for Tanks. Engineer class only. Opened for any suggestions here about damage, throw, timer, respawn timer etc. It sticks to vehicles only (can be modified to stick to anything if needed). It's very rough version, so it will take a while to make it perfect. It will be also remodeled to have some visible pin to pull (now it's just default from frag)

Couple fixes and updates
Hi! New WarDust update available.
For players : - fixed (I hope) long lasting bug causing huge performance drops on maps with transport helicopters - replaced skin of quad - couple tweaks on materials and textures - fixed bug in spawn room showing lot of text due to broken news feed.
For modders : - lightmapping now works correctly - for migrating your mods please use WardustModTools.unitypackage - for new mods please use updated NEWModdingTemplate2022.rar - custom mod characters still not working correctly (mercenaries)

Little update
Couple changes on maps and game play
- Machine guns got increased damage - Fixed Kaoh Kreik collision on palm trees. - Adjusted mag collision on AWP and M590 to prevent accidental grab or unload. - Pilot avatar on transport helicopters (black hawk) is now visible and possible to shoot with hand guns - fixed bug preventing to join official rotation when custom server was opened - changed bots ways on Hashima. They shouldn't get stuck now so much in the corners. - couple other minor fixes in code
Please note that modding is still in testing phase and also mods made on old version of the game won't work correctly until modders will migrate their mods to new engine (some might work)

New War Dust Released! Complete Rework and Upgrade to War Dust.
We are proud to present War Dust completely reworked and remastered from the ground up. We've spent many, many months working and testing New War Dust to bring you the best possible VR experience. Our development team has expanded to include experienced players, so New War Dust is developed by players for players. We've focused on enhancing visuals, increasing immersion, improving performance, fixing bugs and most of the issues that were reported by users in the past couple of years. Currently there are 12 remastered maps in Official Rotation with 10 more under development!
New War Dust will deliver some of the most epic moments you have ever experienced in VR. We would like to thank all the players who have helped test and suggest improvements and changes as we worked on the beta branch of the game. Now that this new version of War Dust has become the main branch, you can still find the legacy version on a separate game branch under "betas" menu in steam.
We hope you share the excitement we feel as this unique and action-packed game is brought closer to its full potential. We look forward to working with the active player community to continue this process of growing and evolving New War Dust even further in the future. We have only just begun.

An official-rotation server room will always have 64 soldiers, but the number of real players per room has always been capped at 24(before a second room is auto- created), but that cap has been raised from 24 to 40. 12. Bots: Behavior modified and optimized: More realistic movements across the map. Bots now are a little slower to respond, but are more accurate and deadly when they do. 13. VFX: Increased all explosions, firepower and environmental visual effects for better immersion. Added more environmental effects on all maps.
Bugfix update
Player in spectator won't be able to handle gatling guns in transport helicopter anymore.
Hotfix update
Fixed a bug preventing a match to end when tickets reached 0 or all controls points where captured by the same team.
Spectator Mode is now available !
We're happy to announce the release of this new update ! It brings 3 major changes to the game :
Spectator Mode
In any type of match, players can now chose to spectate the game in the team selection screen. They then become a flying camera that can easily and rapidly move around the map. A menu is available by pressing the right controller's trigger to navigate between controls points, players or go back to the spawn menu and the left trigger can be used to accelerate.
New weapon : SIG-550
The brand new weapon available with the assault class is unique in War Dust because it's the only weapon that shoots in burst ! This rifle used in the Swiss army is available at level 10 ! It performs wells at mid and long range but is less effective than the M4 for close range engagement.
Mod Cycle
This feature is now fully operational. The mod cycle allows players to create a list of custom maps that will be played consecutively, each with its own configuration.

New event system !
Hi everyone !
We're happy to announce something new in War Dust : Biweekly events ! From 09:30 to 11:00 on Tuesday and from 22:30 to 00:00 Friday, players will have the possibility to join a special server that will run on the same map where they would compete to reach to top of the classement. At the end of an event, the top 3 players will have their names displayed on the main menu until the next event.
As this is the very first event, it will start at **23:00 UTC** and ends at **02:00 UTC**.
The event system is very likely to change in the near future, so don't hesitate to share your suggestions with us on #wardust-bugs-suggestions-feedback.
In the meantime, have fun on War Dust events ! :D
Bugfix update
This update brings fixes to various bugs concerning map loading and modded weapons that spawned multiples times.
Modding Template update
War Dust's modding template just got a small change in the built in shaders.
