War Robots celebrates its 8th birthday! At the start of this event you will get 150 silver event coins and, additionally, 100 bronze coins for each year your account spent in the game. You can win more coins as you follow APPM-3TR on a tour of the War Robots universe in the operation “E”.

You will find these new items in Special Deliveries and operations throughout the event:

  • New robot: Skyros
  • New weapons: Cudgel, Mace, Hammer
  • New pilots: Theseus (Skyros), Eddie Noll (shotguns)
  • New turret: Gravity Amplifier
  • Special editions: Eldritch Khepri, Eldritch Kramola, Eldritch Venom, Stellar Prisma
  • Paintjob: Magic8 (Skyros)

Tap on the "i" icon next to the event chest to see its reward pool. And follow our social media during the update for more presents and giveaways!

NEW ROBOT: SKYROS

A well-protected model capable of transforming into a ball for increased mobility and Defence. Features 1 light, 1 medium, and 1 heavy weapon slots that are only active while in attack mode. Almost impenetrable for ordinary weapons while in high-speed mode.

Skyros can be extremely dangerous in combination with close-range weapons due to its ability to dictate the distance of a fight. However, using the high-speed mode on Skyros may become suboptimal if the enemy packs defence-ignoring or DoT-heavy builds.

NEW WEAPONS: CUDGEL, MACE, HAMMER

Shotgun-type guns with explosive rounds that deal area damage. Targets affected by the explosion accumulate BLAST effect potentially receiving additional damage.

NEW ITEMS IN WORKSHOP

Starting with the Anniversary Expo event, these items will become available in the Workshop:

  • Orochi
  • Fafnir
  • Incinerator
  • Scorcher
  • Scald

These Titan weapons will appear in the Shop:

  • Kisten
  • Bulava

Also this drone:

  • Persephone

And these pilots will be available in the Training Centre:

  • Midea Nerium
  • Dew Tompkins
  • Raphael Petit
  • Jad Parkes (Erebus)
  • Ricardo Gonzales

NEW PILOTS: THESEUS, EDDIE NOLL

Theseus: When in high-speed mode, Skyros’ defence bonus cannot be mitigated by any weapons except for damage from Corrosion.

A reckless fighter still staying in the ranks with the help of first-class surgery. Lost much of his organic body and all his previous bots trying to save teammates in unsuccessful fights. Takes pride in his prosthetic limbs and implants, signing them with names of those companions-in-arms he was able to rescue.

Eddie Noll: Fire rate of all shotgun-type weapons is increased by 10%.

He wouldn’t even get to pilot a combat bot if not for a video game about surfing. Back on Mars, he dreamed of once seeing ocean waves for real. After countless hours of hard work and many dangerous fights as a merc, he found his way to Earth. Nothing can stop Eddie from enjoying his holidays now, not even the aftermath of the Cataclysm that forced humans to flee the planet in the first place.

NEW TURRET: GRAVITY AMPLIFIER

The turret creates a gravitational anomaly around the target, slowing everyone in proximity. The longer the enemies stay in the affected area, the slower they move. Eventually, all affected targets get locked-down. The anomaly cannot be countered with any anti-control effects.

SUPPLY LINE REWORK

Before 8.0, bonus resources received via the Supply Line were limited to Silver. Starting with this update, you receive a random amount of a random resource — several times a day. The bonus can now include Gold, Platinum, Silver, Keys, and Power Cells.

One supply drop unlocks automatically each day. You can claim it in the Supply Center window. You can unlock additional supply drops by watching video ads. The amount of additional drops is limited.

Note that there are several categories of resource packs. The most lucrative ones have a lower chance to drop. Claimed prizes, however, are removed from the pool for the day, meaning you get better chances to claim rarer prizes with each subsequent try.

NEW SPRINGFIELD

We have completed a visual and technical overhaul of this iconic map. Most of the map’s components were reworked from scratch and you can now enjoy a fresh look and enhanced graphics on all three quality presets.

UPDATED BEACON LAYOUT

Beacons on Springfield, Dead City and Shenzhen were renamed for the sake of consistency. Here are the updated layouts.

WEYLAND REWORK, JAEGER TWEAKS

Starting with this update, Weyland can move while using its repair ability. Now you can support those teammates who always run away!

To keep Weyland’s stats in line with other T3 robots, we have reduced its repair radius: 100m → 80m.

We have also updated ability mechanics on Jaeger. The robot will not stop moving when switching from one ability state to another.

BALANCE UPDATE

  • Schütze: movement speed increased by 8%

BUGS FIXED

  • Fixed Papamobile Hawk activating its built-in weapon with a delay.
  • Fixed black screen crashes at the start of a match.
  • Fixed Demeter ability getting locked in the shield phase.
  • Fixed robot selection panel disappearing in Team Deathmatch mode.
  • Fixed certain Turrets causing endless loading when reinstalled on a different Mothership.
  • Fixed vertical aiming angles on Khepri.
  • Implemented numerous optimization tweaks.

WAR ROBOTS 7.9 UPDATE NOTES

EVENT: EVOLIFE BLOOM

The event will start soon after the update lands on your platform.

Commanders!

In the new event, we will celebrate the arrival of spring with Evolife! Pay special attention to the new hangar on the city streets for the first time and to the new version of the Valley Bloom map! And, of course, to the new equipment! Read more about it below.

What's new:

  • Customizable UI
  • New titan: Heimdall
  • New Titan weapons: Dazzler and Lantern
  • New titan module: Onslaught Reactor
  • New drone: Whiteout
  • Balance Update
  • New legendary pilots: Misaki Ueno (Khepri), River Chase (Typhon)
  • Special editions: Kitsune Harpy, Augmented Scald, Spirit Razdor, Spirit Smuta

CUSTOMIZABLE UI

Combat HUD settings have finally arrived. With it, you will be able to reposition or resize any button on the screen. There are certain limitations: you can only move buttons (no indicators) and only within their designated “safe zones” (which are wide enough to cover most use cases though). Also, movement sticks and weapon buttons cannot be mirrored yet.

NEW TITAN: HEIMDALL

A new Support Titan is arriving in War Robots to the sound of the Gjallarhorn!

Just like other robots from Ragnarok Squad, Heimdall can switch modes. This is when the second ability of the Titan also changes. In Repair mode, Heimdall speeds up and repairs everyone around it. The second ability amplifies this effect. In Battle mode, Heimdall activates its in-built weapon and a physical shield, as well as increasing its own Damage and that of its nearest allies. Its special ability in this mode is a Suppression effect shot. But that’s not all: when it falls in battle, Heimdall emits one last powerful pulse which can repair even grey damage.

NEW TITAN WEAPONS: DAZZLER AND LANTERN

A super-heavy energy weapons for titans. They strike enemies with a special concentrated laser beams that temporarily blind the enemy’s aiming systems.

NEW TITAN MODULE: ONSLAUGHT REACTOR

A titan with the Onslaught Reactor module will be more effective at attacking standard robots and even more effective at attacking titans.

NEW DRONE: WHITEOUT

At first glance, this is a cute hilarious ball. But your first impressions will be deceptive. This is a ball of death with a unique electromagnetic field. The Whiteout drone turns off the abilities of all opponents around as soon as there is an enemy in the targeting reticle and within 100m radius.

BALANCE UPDATE

We are making a number of changes to the robots and their weapons. We based them on our own data and player surveys. Our key goal is to make essential pieces of equipment less essential. Another thing we want to do, is to reduce the power of dominant robots, putting it in line with other Tier 4 robots.

  • Fafnir: speed in flight reduced (100 → 63.5 km/h), built-in weapon damage accumulation rate halved, built-in weapon damage bonus against titans reduced (220% → 150%)

WAR ROBOTS 7.8 UPDATE NOTES

Event: Lunar New Year

The event will start soon after the update lands on your platform.

In the new event, we will stand shoulder to shoulder with our old friend Lieutenant Colonel Yang Lee. And help him in his battle against a band of cutthroats who are led by the alluring but dangerous Nian.

And of course, there will be new rewards:

  • New robot: Khepri
  • New mothership: Orion
  • New machineguns: Kramola, Razdor, Smuta
  • New module: Repair Amplifier
  • New legendary pilots: Lieutenant Colonel Yang Lee (Siren/Harpy), Nian (Khepri)
  • Special editions: Baihu Luchador, Baihu Basilisk, Oolong Cinder

New robot: Khepri

Every teammate will fight for your attention. When Khepri joins an ally, the robot strengthens them as well as itself. Both robots receive bonuses to Speed, Damage, Defence Points and also get repaired. Khepri can just get this buff for itself all on its own and try to be the hero of the day — however, you will only reveal the full potential of the robot with an ally.

[previewyoutube="LJUfgBJxhEM;full"]

Ability: Bond. Khepri binds itself to a targeted ally and provides them with various bonuses: a portion of repair every second, a speed bonus, a damage bonus, and a defense bonus. The robot itself gains the same bonuses. The bond can be broken if the robot and the ally move too far away from each other. The robot can activate the ability without a targeted ally if it wants to only apply the bonuses to itself.

New machine guns: Kramola, Razdor, Smuta

Rapid-firing machine guns loaded with homing projectiles. These are good for trickshots and making enemies leave their cover, but sometimes struggle against shields. Damage type: kinetic

New mothership: Orion

The new mothership is armed with a gigantic beam weapon that does not just cause damage once, but over some time. This beam will be especially dangerous to Titans, since it deals extra Damage to them.

New module: Repair Amplifier

When receiving damage, your robot gains a 0.03% bonus to regeneration for the entire battle. When the maximum bonuses are reached, the robot receives defense points and restores the percentage of grey damage to itself.

When installing several such modules, the speed and of receiving bonuses increases, but not their maximum. Base required loss of durability for stack: 9%

New legendary pilots

Yang Lee (Siren/Harpy)
Lee was an excellent testing engineer as well as a top pilot, so he began to pay closer attention to the new line of experimental Siren and Harpy robots. After being granted access to test the cutting edge of DSC tech, Yang spent several months on the test ranges, identifying the weaknesses and strengths of the new robots compared to his old war machine. He worked with the best DSC engineers to make technical improvements and invent a special technology which allowed for enemy shields to be ignored for a short time.

Skill: Yang's Breakthrough. Siren and Harpy’s shots ignore enemy shields while the ability is active.

Nian (Khepri)
Evolife native Nian never agreed with the pacifist philosophy of the colony leaders. She believed in the power of destruction and demolishing more than in “building, repairing and creating”. Her believes made her an inspiring leader for the opposition. She tried to change things. Both Nian and her followers were banished from the colony with no possibility to return. None of them were sad about that though, as they had Nian, and she always had a plan.

Skill: Nian's Will. While the ability is active, Khepri receives 5% bonus to its outcoming damage and 5% to its movement speed. If the robot is bonded to an ally, these bonuses are increased: 10% bonus damage and 10% bonus speed

Bug fixes

  • Microchips number in inventory now displays correctly
  • Revenant's fire buttons now sorted corresponding to weapon's placement
  • Hawk and Luchador ability VFX were fixed
  • Final chest in Battle Rewards used to display incorrect rewards – fixed that as well!
  • Megalodon Orochi's turret now rotates with the same speed as Orochi's turret

  • Marie Leclair (Mender)

TIER SYSTEM AND PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

Starting with this update, the item interface shows the tier of each item.

All items in the game are grouped into four tiers: from grey T1 to golden T4. A tier explains how much power you can expect of a robot or a piece of equipment. Items also get more complex towards T4. We’ve explained the idea behind each tier in this article.

Together with this visual feature, new prices became available for lower-tier equipment. We’ve reconsidered the value of each item based on how it performs in the current ecosystem of the game. As a result, most of the T2 and T3 items now cost less both to acquire and upgrade. You will find the full list of price adjustments at the end of this article.

AIMING TWEAKS

In this update, we adjusted aiming angles for most of the robots in the game. We expect that these changes will eliminate two issues:

  • "LOCK ON TARGET" selecting low-priority targets on the flanks rather than focusing on the enemy in front.
  • Some robots being unable to return fire when attacked from above.

In terms of horizontal aiming, the angle of sight became narrower. Your robot now ignores targets to its sides and you have a more direct control over the aiming process. You just need to face in the right direction.

In terms of vertical aiming, we reduced the blind zone instead. It will be much easier now to aim at targets right above you and right beneath you. This was an issue for most of the robots in the game. With the new aiming angles, all robots will have similar blind zones.

Note that we advise using "LOCK ON TARGET" option for better experience. You can enable it in the ADVANCED section of the game settings.

NEW ROBOTS: SIREN, HARPY

Twin robots specializing in area damage. Their ability allows them to attack target locations with cryogenic or incendiary missiles while hovering in the air. The missiles freeze or overheat their targets, making it extremely dangerous to stay in the affected area.

[previewyoutube="DK2E4Dc8MHk;full"]

Abilities

Snowstorm / Firestorm Siren / Harpy sets up a translocator, makes a jet jump and hovers in the air. Secondary activation teleports the robot to the translocator. While in the air, the robot can launch a powerful rocket that creates a zone that damages enemies and applies the FREEZE / BLAST effect.

Reflector shields

Siren blocks more damage with its Reflector as compared to Harpy, but reflects less damage back to the attacker. Harpy’s Reflector, on the other hand, blocks less damage, but sends a greater portion of it back.

NEW PILOTS: SISTERS XC, MARIE LECLAIR

An experiment that backfired on the DSC military. Sisters XC-1717-1 and XC-1717-2 snatched two prototype robots right from right under their curators’ noses. They now always fight together. Hit and run tactics are their forte.

Sisterhood Siren and Harpy gain invisibility upon landing and restore some durability when returning to the teleportation beacon.

Marie is a dauntless fighter and a talented engineer. After her technical genius helped her succeed in rescuing her girlfriend, she never parts with her modified Mender. Everything can be fixed when Marie is around.

Repair That Mender becomes capable of repairing “grey” structural damage.

NEW DRONE

Ironhearth has a frozen heart. Beautiful, powerful, dangerous, cold, and hot. It can both cool and warm your robot when necessary. Ironhearth is made of iron and looks like an iron. What an irony.

Frozen heart of Ironhearth When your robot is affected by FREEZE or BLAST, the effect is removed and the robot becomes immune to it.

FUJIN REWORK

We are adapting this classic tetrapod to modern warfare. Fujin can now move while maintaining its energy shield. Press the attack!

REVENANT STATS ADJUSTMENT

Revenant’s durability upgrades were distributed incorrectly between the levels of this robot. We’ve adjusted the numbers, so that Revenant’s durability growth is streamlined with that of other robots in the game. Overall durability remains the same.

BUGS FIXED

  • Fixed Zmej Murometz getting stuck in the map geometry when landing.
  • Fixed Luchador activating explosion at the start of the jump rather than upon landing.
  • Fixed robot parts and VFX appearing randomly around the map.
  • Fixed passability issues for the ramp geometry on Springfield close to beacon A.
  • Fixed the issue that prevented players from forming squads when connected to certain servers.
  • Fixed the Legendary League interface returning to the player's own league each time after they close another player's profile.
  • Fixed Fafnir being able to shoot through map geometry at certain locations with its built-in weapon.
  • Implemented various optimization tweaks.

WAR ROBOTS 7.5 UPDATE NOTES

Event: Icarus Horror Show

The event will start soon after the update 7.5 lands on your platform.

This year's Icarus Cyber Show is being taken over by a renegade governor and the scariest pilot on Mars — Samael Johansen. Watch our Halloween Story if you aren't afraid to meet him:

[previewyoutube="obLqOmjoeNY;full"]

Despite this takeover, there will still be plenty of prizes to win! Keep an eye out for Luchador, the latest brawler Titan, and Corrupted Fafnir, the rusty and spooky version of our nordic dragon.

What's new:

  • New Titan: Luchador
  • New Titan Weapons: Basilisk, Cinder
  • New Weapons: Venom, Puncher
  • New Drone: Reviver
  • New Special Editions: Corrupted Fafnir, Corrupted Scadi
  • New Pilots: Samael Johansen, Madam Brijit

The event will feature new skirmishes, series of quests, and Arena matches on Shenzhen map flooded with lava! Also starting with the update 7.5 you can invite players into squads using their in-game IDs.

New Titan and Weaponry

Luchador

Luchador is a Brawler Titan developed by DSC which is well-equipped for aggressive melee combat. Jump engines allow Luchador to leap straight into the enemy groups, dealing severe damage and temporarily weakening their weapon systems. After getting their attention, Luchador can survive the combat for a long time using its Ultimate Defence ability.

[previewyoutube="RsjUjEfS994;full"]

Basilisk

Krait's big brother for the Titan alpha slot. A very powerful energy machine gun for close and medium range. In addition to its high rate of fire and impressive ammo capacity, it also boasts a DoT effect: every round deals damage over time after hitting a target.

Cinder

An experimental auxiliary weapon ideal for close-range combat against multiple opponents. Deals damage to all enemies in the affected area. This weapon can only be reloaded when it is not firing due to its design features.

Venom

An acid launcher that damages enemy robots with a stream of highly corrosive liquid that eats away at armor. Each hit inflicts a powerful DoT effect.

Puncher

Heavy close-range energy machine gun with a high rate of fire. Possesses a special feature that immobilizes the target after a certain number of hits.

New Pilots

Samael Johansen

A former governor of an Icarus colony and a hardcore enthusiast of cybernization. For him, a human body is but a shell that inhibits our true potential. For better or for worse, he got rid of the shell as we know it. Idolizes long-range combat and long-term planning.

Samael's System: Every time Erebus's ability is activated, the robot deals increased damage for 7 seconds.

Madam Brijit

A mysterious pilot linked to infamous "Ghosts". She tracks down her targets and appears next to them seemingly out of nowhere. Dislikes quantum radars strongly.

Brijit Encounter: Orochi's ability has an additional charge, but the duration of each charge is decreased.

New Drone: Reviver

"Medic!" is a shout that is heard on the battlefield so often. But now, a medic will always be at hand! Reviver is an indispensable companion for those who like having a second chance in battle.

Built-in microchip: When the Robot's durability reaches zero, the drone instantly restores part of it.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed issue with Mk.3 durability stats for Revenant.
  • Fixed issue with special ability for Zmej Murometz. It now works as intended.
  • Fixed issue with Orbital Support charging instantaneously when a beacon is captured by several teammates at once.
  • Fixed Murometz/Zmej Murometz movement animations.
  • Fixed issue preventing Phase Exile from cancelling out Hellburner's and Shell's explosions.

  • Paint jobs: Serpent Revenant and Voltaged Erebus

Two new pilots are also waiting to meet you: Jad Parkes and Ricardo Gonzales. Tap on the "i" icon next to the event chest to see its reward pool.

New Robot: Erebus

A heavy robot made for middle and long distance fights. It has an impressively durable Aegis shield and can temporarily disable enemies with guided missiles.

Homing Blackout: Erebus fires four guided rockets that seek the target by themselves, dealing damage and temporarily disabling the enemy robot's systems.

  • EMP blocks the activation of an enemy abilities and active modules.
  • Lock-Down immobilizes an enemy.
  • Suppression reduces the enemy's damage by 50%.
  • DoT inflicts damage over time to the enemy's hull

New weapon: Prisma

A laser rifle for a heavy slot. Deals more damage at a greater distance. Very weak at point blank.

Takes revenge on enemies for destroying your robot.

Barrel Explosion: This drone explodes when your robot is destroyed, damaging any enemies caught in the blast.

New Turrets

Three new turrets are available to improve your Orbital Support.

Aegis Blast system: A turret that applies the Aegis shield to your robot and your allies in a radius around you.

Repair Blast Station: A turret that repairs a portion of your durability and that of allies in a radius around you in a short period of time.

Laser Blast Cannon: A turret that deals major area damage after a short delay.

New pilots: Jad Parkes, Ricardo Gonzales

Jad Parkes is the best treasure hunter on Earth. This adventurous pilot often finds himself in extreme situations and loves being on the edge. He works in tandem with Ricardo Gonzales. The artifact hunting doesn't give Jad anywhere near as much pleasure as his rivalry with his partner and the adrenaline rush of victory. The Erebus he pilots became Jad's main trophy. Under his control, the damage from each of this robot’s missiles is increased to 5000.

Jad's Competitiveness: All of Erebus's built-in cannon missiles now deal 5000 damage

Ricardo Gonzales is a mercenary and artifact hunter. The treasures of the Earth fascinate him. His passion for archeology began with an old tape with the recording of the song his mother sang to him. He loves telling stories about artifacts he's found to his partner Jad. Ricardo doesn't share the risky tactical approach of his friend as he is convinced that it's better to act carefully and prudently. He tries to avoid fights and prefers to speed up his Revenant to escape the approaching threat.

Ricardo's Enthusiasm: Revenant gains additional move speed while the ability is active.

Treasure Hunt Community Challenge

Jed Parkes and Ricardo Gonzales are looking for artifacts on Earth, and you have a chance to get some of their trophies! Whose treasure hunt tactics are better? Choose the side of one of the adventurers and support him in battle by piloting selected robots. At the end of the event, we will compare the number of robots deployed for each pilot. The winning pilot and his supporters will receive a valuable reward. The losing side will receive a smaller one.

Follow the news on our official social media pages. There will soon be a special poll where you can support the pilot you like. We will also publish all details about the event there.

The ships that transport your hangars are now ready to assist you in battle. Each useful action that you take on the battlefield helps calibrating the ship guns. The more active you are, the faster your Orbital Support becomes available. When you press the Orbital Support button, the ship delivers a devastating blast at your target's location.

Motherships

Dreadnought

(UNLOCKS AT LVL 30 FOR FREE) The universally used classics that allowed corporations to bring their military potential to humanity’s new home. Numerous Dreadnought crash sites can be found on Earth.

Ability: Creates an ionic storm at the location of your target with a short delay. Deals single-time damage to all enemy targets within the strike area.
Upgrades: Ability accumulation rate, Strike damage
Turret slots: OFFENSIVE

Monarch

A new generation of motherships designed with combat capabilities in mind. Monarchs usually outclass Dreadnoughts in terms of firepower.

Ability: Creates an ionic storm at the location of your target with a short delay. Deals single-time damage to all enemy targets within the strike area and applies damage over time to all targets hit.
Upgrades: Ability accumulation rate, Strike damage, Damage over time bonus
Turret slots: OFFENSIVE, DEFENSIVE

Mantis

Support ships that were designed to protect colonies from meteor rains with newly developed Aegis technology. Proved to be just as effective at shielding smaller targets.

Ability: Applies Aegis shield and repair over time to your robot and all allies near it.
Upgrades: Ability accumulation rate, Aegis power, Repair over time bonus
Turret slots: SUPPORT, DEFENSIVE

Turrets

Turrets improve your Orbital Support with additional effects. The effect triggers together with your ship's main caliber. The following Turrets are available in update 7.3:

  • Target Ray Cannon: Snipes the target with a laser beam after a short delay. Will not trigger if no target is locked on. The target cannot evade the hit.
  • Periodic Fix Station: Applies repair over time to all allies within the given range from your robot.
  • Aegis Self System: Applies Aegis shield to your robot. The shield remains active until destroyed.

Orbital Support aiming

The Orbital Support button becomes active as soon as you select a target. The enemy robot that is enclosed in the red frame is considered to be your selected target. The main strike of your Orbital Support will be aimed at its location. If you use manual lock-on, your "saved" target will have the priority over the target that is currently within your reticle.

New Robot: Revenant

A teleporting tank that can strike almost anywhere. This robot boasts superb durability as well as two lateral shields. Unlike other slow brawlers, Revenant doesn't fear being immobilized with lock-down or frozen. Its ability allows it to remove all negative effects, become temporary immune to them, and teleport to the spot in front of its target. Additionally, Revenant takes no "grey" structural damage from sound blasters as long as its ability is active.

[previewyoutube="ruup-kTL1eQ;full"]

Aggressive blink: Robot teleports to the point in front of the enemy, drops all negative effects, and activates modernized defense mechanisms. The robot receives immunity to DOT, SUPPRESSION, FREEZE, ROOT, BLAST, EMP, and also keeps the maintainability of its hull.

New Weapons: Bane, Toxin

Close range acid-throwers that melt hulls with aggressive chemicals and leave a lasting effect on the target that deals damage over time.

New pilots: Svyatogor Belov, Vasilisa Maximova

Svyatogor is the current leader of Yaga Gang, an extravagant group of mercenaries with a particular love for pancakes. A secret technology he got his hands on in the past makes his Fafnir a bane of all energy shield reliant builds. Has once been defeated by Vasilisa in a duel.

Svyatogor's Breach: Fafnir ignores energy shields during the flight.

Vasilisa is Yaga Gang's most valued player. She helped Svyatogor Belov dispose of the previous leader of the mercenary company by hosting a not-completely-fair missile shooting competition. Her stratagems are only matched by her bravery. She tweaked her Revenant so that she doesn't have to wait for support and now enjoys always being ahead of her team.

Vasilisa's Wisdom: Revenant restored a portion of its durability the moment its ability goes on cooldown. The amount of durability restored depends on the damage dealt while the ability was active.

The Moon map is back

The space-themed map with lots of geometry providing for perfect cover is once again available in map rotation. We've reworked it from scratch so that it's compatible with the Remastered version of the game. We've also introduced some notable visual improvements including reworked lighting and better textures. WAR ROBOTS 7.2 UPDATE NOTES

Event: SpaceTech Fair

The event will start soon after the update 7.2 lands on your platform.

The SpaceTech Fair begins! Special activities and unique prizes await!

July 28, 2084 is the day when the first colony on Mars was founded. SpaceTech became pioneers of a new world. Today we are celebrating the Science and Technology Fair dedicated to them! SpaceTech brought their latest creation to show off and many legendary pilots arrived to celebrate. Let's have a look!

The event will also feature new skirmishes and series of quests!

New Titan and weaponry: Murometz, Bulava, Kisten

SpaceTech's creation raining terror from the sky. The lead SpaceTech engineer Daniil Maximov, the author of the good old Natasha and Vityaz, presents to you his ultimate creation — Murometz.

It is a Titan that can unleash a hard rain of missiles on your enemies. It also can disable robots’ abilities with its electromagnetic gun.

Bulava and Kisten are powerful medium-range multiple rocket launchers designed specifically for the Titan weapon slots. These missiles are capable of avoiding obstacles and are especially dangerous against slow opponents.

New module: Nuclear Amplifier

For every 20000 damage inflicted on the enemy, your robot receives a small damage boost for the entire battle. Upon reaching the maximum possible bonus, the robot recovers a part of its durability and its cannons receive additional defence mitigation.

Equipping several modules will make your robot accumulate bonuses faster, but will not increase the maximum number of bonuses.

New legendary pilots: Manni, Raphael Petit, Dew Tompkins

Manni

Manni loves going spectacular. As a pilot, he makes enemies feel like they've got an edge, and then strikes back with extra strength. Special Ability: Manni's Tactics. The robot receives a damage bonus. The robot also gets bonus damage for every 10% of the lost durability.

Raphael Petit

DSC Lead Design Engineer handles flamethrowers best of all. His favorites are Blaze, Igniter, and Ember. Special Ability: Petit's Wit. Flamethrower area of effect radius increased by 30%.

Dew Tompkins (Will be available in Operations)

A glorified Shell pilot. Dew learned to use Shell's explosions to suppress the enemies, which helped him find his freedom some time ago. Special Ability: Dew's Deception. Shell applies Suppression upon explosion.

New drone and microchip

Beak is your winged support at the forefront of the attack. At the first sign of danger, the drone is capable of using its built-in stealth system and defend your robot from direct enemy attacks. Built-in microchip: After taking the first hit on the battlefield, the robot gets the Stealth effect. This prevents enemies from targeting the robot for a while.

On Damage Dealt: Damage. Every 150000 damage dealt to the enemy, your robot gains a temporary damage bonus.

Titan rebalance

Sharanga

The efficiency of Sharanga has exceeded the originally conceived metrics. Designed as a sniper, Sharanga nevertheless became extremely useful in close combat. Reduced durability will bring this titan closer to its original concept.

Grom

Squall

Titan shotguns proved to be effective at both short and medium range. The nerf is intended to reduce the versatility of shotguns, making them harder to use at medium ranges.

Plated Armor Kit

Antimatter Reactor

The combined bonus to durability and damage allowed these modules to displace more situational modules like Cannibal Reactor and Self-Fix Unit. Reducing the durability bonus will make other options more attractive and hopefully lead to more variety in battles.

Arthur

Arthur now has more durability in total (when adding together its hull and its shield: 1,289,600 → 1,338,000), but relies on its shield more than before.

Nodens

Nodens is intended to work as a support titan. However, 4 beta slots make it a decent fighter. Afrter this rebalance, Nodens will have to stay away from the heat of battle, while retaining its ability to assist allies.

Gendarme

Striker

Krait

One extra level for robots and weapons

Fully upgraded items will be marked with yellow color (MK2 items are currently marked with green). Upgrading from 12 MK2 to the max level will cost around 1500 Au. To help everyone max out their arsenals faster, upgrade times for MK2 will be reduced by half. The extra level will increase the efficiency of your items by approximately 5%.

Returning map: Factory

Factory was updated and optimized for Remastered and is ready for action.

Boosters: clan/squad combat bonuses removed

To reduce power disparity between squadded and solo players we've removed the effects that boost combat efficiency for clanmates in your squad.

Note that the change does not affect resource boosters (they provide extra resources to clanmates just as before) and personal booster bonuses.

Third passive module slot for all Workshop robots

Just a small update that will be helpful in lower leagues.

Bug fixes

WAR ROBOTS 7.1

Event: DSC Boot Camp

The event will start soon after Update 7.1 lands on your platform. The event task chain will be available in the Operations interface.

Set an example for raw recruits and win valuable rewards from the Oversight Committee:

At some point during the event, DSC will stage the Gladiator Championship. If you’re sure of your battle worthiness and ready to bet some gold, don’t miss your chance.

Multiple Operations

Starting with this update, multiple Operations can be active simultaneously. You can decide which prizes you need the most and obtain Passes for the Operations of your choice.

You will find several reward tracks in your Operations interface. They include both free and premium rewards. To unlock premium rewards, you need to purchase the Operation Pass for that particular track.

Operation Experience obtained in battle counts towards all active tracks: when you win X experience in a fight, all your Operations lines get +X progress.

Purchased Operation Experience only counts towards one Operation track.

There are two types of Operations. Some Operations only receive progress from finishing battles, some only from completing tasks. The type of Operation is shown right above its experience bar.

New robot: Fafnir

Evolife's take on the flying Dragons, this particular robot is able to stay in the air for as long as it wants, using the same principle as the Shapeshifters. While on the ground Fafnir diverts it's power into increased defense mitigation, while in the air it activates an in-built weapon capable of dealing devastating damage to Titans.

Shapeshift The robot is free to switch between walking and flying, staying in any mode for as long as you need. While on the ground, it gets increased Defense and 4 weapon slots. In the air, the robot disables two of its weapon slots, enabling a built-in weapon that deals increased damage to Titans instead. It also activates an Absorber shield for several seconds when it starts to take off.

Absorber Impenetrable shield that can absorb an unlimited amount of damage.

New weapons: Snaer, Skadi, Hel

Powerful energy weapons that damage enemies with a stream of cold-plasma particles. After a certain number of hits, the target freezes. Its movement speed is lowered and incoming damage is increased.

New pilots: Jack Moore, Johanna Flynn

Jack is one of DSC's most famous drill sergeants, as feared by raw recruits as he is respected by hardened veterans. His robot of choice is Strider.

Jack's Inspiration Strider receives a short-time damage boost after using its ability.

Johanna is a renegade DSC soldier, who now fights for one of the numerous merc groups. She’s usually seen piloting Fafnir.

Johanna's Conviction Fafnir repairs a portion of its durability upon landing.

New drones: Paralysis, Persephone

Paralysis is a real technological marvel. It has a gorgeous segmented tail and a powerful built-in generator that allows it to lock-down your enemies!

Lockdowner Gives all the robot's weapons the ability to Lock-down enemies.

Drawing inspiration from Demeter, Persephone is a compact version of the design created by Icarus Technologies to repair both you and your allies in battle.

Persephone's Repair Shooter This drone shoots energy particles at your allies to repair them. It also constantly repairs a portion of your durability.

New Microchips

Target-seeking Frost Shooter is a weapon chip that allows your drone to automatically attack targets within its firing range. This chip applies a certain amount of Freeze upon each hit. Remember that your drone starts firing only when you target an enemy.

Terminal Renovator restores a portion of your robot’s durability each time you destroy a target. This chip truly shines when you manage to go on a kill streak.

Microchip names updated

In this update, we've also streamlined the naming of drone microchips. Just as before, their names will include the condition part and the action part. The first one tells you what should happen for the chip to activate, the second explains what the chip does. However, the new names are much clearer. We've sacrificed fancy names for accessibility.

Also, check out our new hangar theme!

New map: Abyss

A powerful mining complex located over a gaping volcanic pipe. It belonged to the Defense and Security Conglomerate for decades, supplying natural diamonds to its Martian colonies. Now, other factions see an opportunity to send in mercenary squads and take over. With an artificially caused volcano eruption looming over the battlefield, Commanders are in for a fiery battle.

Teleports: Stolen Icarus technology adapted for production. Stationary teleport platforms will instantly relocate you to another part of the map.

New titan: Sharanga

[previewyoutube="bSXCzQFN7ac;full"]

Designed by Yan-di corporation specifically for long-range battles, Sharanga is the first titan to operate three alpha slots at once. Its improved reactor allows for increased weapon damage, while its phase defense can temporarily neutralize enemies that come too close.

Full Power: The Titan increases its weapons damage.

Phase Exile: The Titan forces the enemy robot to slow down and lose the ability to deal damage, repair allies and capture beacons. However, it also makes the enemy invulnerable to damage and any negative effects at the same time.

New robot: Orochi

[previewyoutube="dJyqHROzh0A;full"]

Orochi combines a set of technologies from other factions, which were reproduced and optimized by SpaceTech engineers to create a versatile and deadly robot. It is an aggressive robot capable of moving at incredibly fast speeds which is protected by stealth technology. The robot has a built-in weapon with a long-lasting corrosive effect.

Viper Strike: The robot dashes, activates stealth and begins to move at an increased speed, firing corrosive projectiles at the enemy. The ability has 2 charges.

DoT: Deals recurring damage over time to the enemy's hull.

Stealth: Enemy guns cannot target your robot.

New titan weapons: Striker and Krait

Striker

A super-heavy long-range weapon which fires an energy impulse that bounces from one target to another. It also has a charge-up system: the longer you charge the weapon, the more powerful its shot.

Krait

An auxiliary energy machine gun for close and medium range. In addition to its high rate of fire and impressive ammo capacity, it also boasts a DoT effect: every round deals damage over time after hitting a target.

Drones rework

With this rework, we want to make drones more focused and simple to manage, both when you are making a build and on the battlefield. If you see a Wasp drone, you will always know that it's built to sting.

For a full explanation of this rework, please read this article. You will also find the full details of the microchip rebalance included in the tables at the end of the article.

Gameroom migration

With Facebook Gameroom shutting down this summer, you can now transfer your War Robots progress from Gameroom to either Steam or MY.GAMES. You will also receive a 500 Au bonus for choosing MY.GAMES.

If you play on Facebook Gameroom, you will see a pop-up window when you enter the game which will prompt you to transfer your progress. There will be a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this available in the game menu, but just in case, we'll also explain it here.

To tansfer you progress:

Your account will be transfered from Facebook Gameroom to the platform you chose. It will no longer be available on Facebook Gameroom.

Important: Do not share your temporary ID with anybody. You might get your account stolen if you do.

Balance changes

Devastator, Havoc, Scatter

Close-range builds have a clear advantage over medium-range at the moment. With this nerf, we want to give more space to those who prefer shootouts at a distance.

Hellburner

This mechanic has been in the game for quite a while already. With the release of Shell which doesn't receive any self-damage, it started to feel out of place. We have buffed Hellburner by streamlining its ability to be like the one Shell has.

Minor buffs

As always, there's also a list of minor buffs aimed at reinvigorating gameplay in lower leagues:
