At the beginning of WW II, the Brits were on their own battling the Luftwaffe over the skies of England. The Axis tried to get the British to sue for peace or to eliminate the RAF to prepare for an Axis invasion of England. Waves of Ju-88 bombers, Bf-109 Fighters, crossed the English Channel, to battle the under-powered British Hurricanes and Spitfires. The Battle of Britain lasted from July 1940 through October 1940 with over 4400 aircraft battling. This Frame will be a giant air to air event.

The Second event will be the Battle of Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941, where the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked Hawaii and few US aircraft made it into the air. In this Frame, the Allies will know the attack force is on the way and are on the lookout for the enemy fighters and bombers. Japanese Zero fighters, Kate and Val bombers, attacked Pearl Harbor with the US getting a few of its P-40 WarHawk’s airborne. Four Battleships sunk and four battleships significantly damaged. Allied players will send out scouts to try to find the Japanese fleet and be ready to defend from their attack.

Frames 3, 4, and 5 will also be great Furball-O-Ramas: Frame 3, the Battle of Midway, Carrier Task Forces vs Carrier Task Forces; Frame 4, the Sicily Campaign where Allied forces landed in Sicily to capture the island from the Axis, in August 1943, with the Allies flying P-40 WarHawks, Spitfires, Hurricanes against the upgraded Axis Bf-109s; Frame 5 will be The Battle of the Philippine Sea (June 19–20, 1944) was a major naval battle that eliminated the Imperial Japanese Navy's ability to conduct large-scale carrier actions.

WarBirds S3 Event! Coming Nov 11th!

The Tunisian Campaign (also known as the Battle of Tunisia) was a series of battles that took place in Tunisia during the North African Campaign of the Second World War, between Axis and Allied forces. The Allies consisted of British Imperial Forces, including Polish and Greek contingents, with American and French corps. The battle opened with initial success by the German and Italian forces but the massive supply interdiction efforts led to the decisive defeat of the Axis. Over 230,000 German and Italian troops were taken as prisoners of war, including most of the Africa Korps

Tunisia S3 will be short distances, fast fights, and lots of action for all players!
