The game speed have been increased a lot.
You can now use teleportation for free while no monsters are in range.
You can now use the black gate to get to the deepest purificated checkpoint. The old teleporter was disabled.
You must now purificate a checkpoint in order to unlock it's doors.
You can now rebind all controls on gamepad and keyboard.
VR : you can now use the keyboard to play while seated with a VR headset.

There is now more variety in the mazes.
The range of the teleport spell has been increased- it is now more consistent with its equivalent spells in the other mage specs (which are currently unavailable).
The necromancers have been modified.
You can reassign the input bindings in the option menu.
You can now invert the vertical axis on the mouse and the gamepad.
Xbox gamepad rotations have been improved. You can now spin around more quickly.
The Discovery mode has been added in the difficulty settings. Monsters are slower and you have a lot more hit points, so even the newbies can have fun in the game without having to go through the ‘die and retry’ learning phase.
From now on, the checkpoint doors are locked until you activate the checkpoint.

The two last patches focused on improving performances and stability especially on multiplayer.
The game is also more balanced, mana and health evolution should feel better.
Expert mode should also be more accessible especially during the boss encounter.

Early Access Opening
Early access has begun and the game is now available for sale.
Be warned, it's the beginning of the content development phase so the game is short and lack long term challenge (From beta feedback expect around 2h of gameplay in the current game state).
Only buy it now if you are curious or/and want to help it's development.
Trying to be synthetic curently your expected experience should take around look like (from closed beta feedback) :
- Make you first dungeon run in beginner mode to discovers the gameplay and learn combat.
- Make a second dungeon run in standard mode.
- Once you are at ease with standard mode you should try expert mode where monster gain new powers. Expert mode is challenging, especially in virtual reality.
- Current 'end game' is the timer. You can compete with your friends on the leaderboards and try to make the quickest dungeon run possible. Leaderboard currently only concern solo content and can be affected by the random aspect of the dungeon generation.

Wardens of the Amber Cage : Closed Beta Gameplay test begin
Closed Beta 0.2.1 is out with the first iteration of the difficulty settings balancing.
Wardens of the Amber Cage : Closed Beta Opening
The closed beta is available. Gameplay tests will begin on Monday.
Beginner, Standard and Expert difficulty settings are available.
Beginner skill set is available.
The undead king boss is available.
The swordman, the crossbowman, the assassin and the necromancer are available.
A basic room set is available.
Multiplayer is available.
Progress system is disabled during beta.
We should be able to announce an early access release date in the following weeks.
Patch note : Free Alpha Preview 0.1.13
- Monsters now loot healing orbs.
- Healing orbs should ensure you are full life when pulling boss (ghosts will still oneshot you from behind).
- Boss cinematic improved and now have a short version once you wipe.
- Direct boss teleporter when dungeon is empty should be more visible.
- Spell reflects should be more visible (and frequent, sorry).
- Various bugfixes and minor visual improvements.
