The Wardudes lore
Development of Wardudes is proceeding steadily as we are currently fixing some major bugs, and the current build of the game feels pretty good to play.
But I felt like something was missing...
I realised that even the simplest of games needs some context, some "lore" of sorts, and a game like Wardudes can reach new heights of quality and fun thanks to a simple but effective story.
We are currently working on writing the Wardudes lore and adding contextual details to the game, and these additions started looking very promising from the start!
For now, all I can share with you is that the story will involve aliens, and this is one of the lore-related objects that you'll find in the game:
Someone is keeping an eye on you.
The next Frydudes will feature the full reveal of the Wardudes lore, together with more sneak peeks at some lore related items!

Take a peek at the mayhem you can create with the class showcased in this fourth Frydudes:
The Grenadier
Nothing like the smell of explosives and the taste of a good cigar.
Destroy everything in your way (including the occasional enemy) with the most explosive class of them all, The Grenadier!
This class sole purpose is to create as much mayhem as possible thanks to a triplet of explosive weapons:
The Bazooka A classic in all turn-based tactical game. Blow up distant targets with this cylindrical beauty! They ain't gonna know what hit 'em.
The Grenade Looking to destroy a target at medium-short range? Or maybe you want to play a twisted and highly dangerous version of bowling using your enemies as pins? Try out these bad boys!
The TNT If you want to be sure to hit the enemy in a precise spot, this solution might be old school but does the trick! Doing some stretching before using these might be a good idea, you don't want your legs to cramp out while you run to safety!
Get ready to go scorched earth on your enemy with the Grenadier class in Wardudes, coming later this year!

In this third episode of Frydudes we are going to showcase the most classic class of them all:
The Gunner
Just a regular Gunner being a cool dude as always.
If you want to cut the crap and just stick to hurting people this is the class for you Presenting: The Gunner!
We tried to keep the research lab away from doing their touch-ups, but they ended up slipping in some extra equipment, together with a good ol' shotgun and a machine gun:
The Molotov Throw this beauty to your enemy to serve them a cocktail of pain and suffering!
The Barrier Why not add some punturing and lacerations to the third degree burns? The enemy will shiver when faced to these obstacles!*

The Engineer
Gareth, the engineer for the Teabaggers team.
Tired of ending up like every other gun head stuck in a hole, or blocked by a wall? The Engineer class might just be what you're looking for!
Our extremely advanced research lab developed these two instruments that every engineer is equipped with:
The Ladder Place the ladder whenever you need to reach a high place, or use it as a bridge!*
The Shovel This wonder of technology gives the engineer a tactical vantage like no other, the ability to dig a path through the terrain wherever you want! (make sure to keep your digging away from lava)

In this first Frydudes we take a deep dive into one of the props that you can find lying around on the Wardudes battlefields:
Explosive Barrels!

Wardudes explosive barrels are filled with the good stuff that makes them stable enough to be pushed around without risking to lose some limbs!*
