The adventure filled seasonal update "Treasure Hunters" is already here and offers activities that you won’t have to dig deep for. In this article, we’ll share what activities you’ll be able to participate in during the season, and what rewards are waiting for you. Just select the section that you want to learn more about.
Battle Pass
Get ready for some changes in the daily quest mechanic and the progression, brand-new weapon series "Deep" and "Abyss" and contracts for them.
The "Treasure Hunters" Battle Pass will be active until August 21st 2023.
DAILY QUESTS
The way the daily quests work has changed. There is now a weekly limit on how many quests the player can take up, namely up to 10 active tasks. The quest slots will be available until this limit is reached. That means that the player can complete all 10 of the quests in one day and wait for the next week to reset the limit, or spread out the tasks throughout the week.
The Battle Pass progression has been extended to accommodate the extra XP players will be getting through daily quests:
The XP needed to complete the main progression will be raised from 27 525 to 33 035.
The XP needed to complete a class contract will be raised from 21 000 to 29 250.
The XP needed to go through an additional BP level will be raised from 2000 to 2500.
BP REWARDS MULTIPLIER
The match result display has been reworked in the new Battle Pass. The player can see, by what percentage, their XP is boosted and the sum of all XP they got.
The rest of the Battle Pass mechanics remain the same. In order to get all the guns, you’ll have to take up the challenge of completing 4 class-specific contracts. You'll earn BP XP and complete contracts at the same time, so if you play actively, you'll be able to claim all the guns, as well as accumulate enough coins to purchase parts!
for the main progression (camos, weapon charms, permanent secondary weapons and achievements);
for the additional progression (BP coins);
for daily and class-specific contracts (a seasonal weapon box for the former, and BP coins and a cool class achievement for the latter);
weapons and parts in the seasonal shop line-up.
More About the Rewards
The Battle Pass is filled with treasures, inside you will find the "Deep" and "Abyss" weapon series, thematic charms, as well as achievements. With these two series of weapons, you can’t help but smell sea salt and hear the seagulls when looking at them. Wait, are those tentacles? Take out your spy glasses and let's have a closer look!
Series "Deep"
The series "Deep" incorporates the ocean itself in its design. Decorated with foamy waves and underwater trinkets, this series combines the beauty and the danger of open water. In it, you’ll find the AS Val Custom assault rifle, the AWP sniper rifle, the H&K VP9 Match pistol, the SAR 109T Specs submachine gun, the VEPR VPO-X3 shotgun, and the Push Daggers.
[expand type="more"] [/expand]
Series "Abyss"
The "Abyss" series is as deadly as it sounds: decorated with tentacles, sea moss and ornaments reminiscent of the pirate era, these guns remind you that out in the sea the danger can lurk deep within… In the series, you’ll find the Cobalt Kinetics EDGE Rifle, the Cobalt Kinetics Stealth Pistol, the Cobalt Kinetics Twenty-Seven sniper rifle, the HK433 assault rifle, the Kalashnikov USA KHAOS shotgun, the Katana, the M1911A1 pistol, the Mauser C96 Modern pistol, the OTs-48 sniper rifle, the Taurus CT9 G2 submachine pistol, and the V3 TAC-13 shotgun.

Battle Pass Coins
This is the main currency of the Battle Pass that you can spend in the seasonal shop. There are two ways of earning the BP coins:
by completing daily and class-specific contracts;
by unlocking the additional progression levels.
Please note: All unspent BP coins will expire by the end of the season and will not be transferred to the next. Keep that in mind and try to use them all up!
This season's shop line-up offers two types of rewards: parts that you can get of up to 10,000 pcs., and four excellent guns with mod slots from the "Abyss" series: HK433, Taurus CT9 G2, Kalashnikov USA KHAOS, and OTs-48. Show your opponents that you have no equal from the pits of the ocean all the way to the battlefield!
Both temporary and permanent weapon versions can be obtained with coins in the shop. Parts are sold in batches.
To get permanent weapons, you would need to consequently purchase the preceding temporary versions: the ones for 3, 5, 7, and 9 days (costing 25/50/75/125 BP coins accordingly), the permanent version costs 175 coins, making the overall price for the permanent gun 450 BP coins.
Prestige
The "Treasure Hunters" prestige season will be active until September 13th 2023.
Prestige levels are additional levels (from the 101st to the 1000th) in the progression system that you can unlock as long as the seasonal activity is on. Progressing through the prestige levels is the same as with the regular levels: you play and gain XP for every battle. The only difference is that prestige levels require more XP and are reset each season.
Changes that took place this season:
the list of level rewards has been updated: it now features golden versions of OTs-14 Groza, Kalashnikov MP-155 Ultima, SAR 109T Specs and Benelli MR1.
Ranked Matches
The "Treasure Hunters" Ranked Matches season will be active until September 13th 2023.
Changes that took place this season:
Bans and compensations for early leave. Having a player leave the match and contribute to the loss of the entire team is frustrating. However, there are cases when a player has to leave a match for, say, technical reasons. There is no need to indiscriminately punish the leaver and the team that had to play through a game with one less teammate. Now, the game considers different scenarios both for the player, who’s left the match, and the team, who’s had a player leave.

Quality-of-Life Improvements
Matchmaking Queue Timer
Considering your feedback about long matchmaking, we’ve developed a new feature, queue timer. It aims to reduce the average matchmaking time and make matchmaking more predictable and comfortable for you.
The game will display waiting time for a match in all modes with matchmaking (PvP, PvE, Ranked Matches, special operations). We hope that this feature will reduce the number of players who cancel match searches, and, thus, improve the matchmaking time.
The timer will reflect the average match searching time in the global search, not on the regional servers.
Ranked Matches Improvements
In this update, you’ll find changes to the bans and compensations system for leaving the match early, as well as improvements to the match cancellation system, in case there aren’t enough players or some leave after the game has already started.
Bans and Compensations for Early Leave
Having a player leave the match and contribute to the loss of the entire team is frustrating. However, there are cases when a player has to leave a match for, say, technical reasons. There is no need to indiscriminately punish the leaver and the team that had to play through a game with one less teammate. Now, the game considers different scenarios both for the player, who’s left the match, and the team, who’s had a player leave. So, let’s look at them:
A player leaves the match and makes it back on time
This is the best case scenario. You manage to return to the match before the allotted time and play normally. You and your team get rewarded in full in case of victory, and lose full points in case of loss.
A player leaves the match and doesn’t make it back on time
You’ve tried your best, but didn’t make it back on time. In this case, if your team wins, all the team members get full rewards. But if they lose, they receive a compensation for having a player leave early. That means that, while you lose the full amount of Ranked points, your team only loses half.
A player leaves the match for good
If you don’t come back to the match after leaving, you get a ban. But imagine your team wins anyway, so they receive the full amount of points for the victory, and you receive nothing. However, if your team loses, then on top of the ban, you also get the full amount of points deducted, while your team is compensated for playing with a missing player and only loses half the points.
With the new system, there will be no need for an early surrender. Now, the surrender vote will not be available until the 4th round or the 7th match minute.
Match Cancelling
Sometimes, players fail to connect to the match or leave as soon as it starts. In that case, the game will automatically cancel the match. Here’s how it will work:
After the game starts, there is a specific time window for the players to connect. If one or several players don’t connect to the match within this timespan, the match gets cancelled, and the players neither lose nor gain Ranked points. And if they do connect within a specific timeframe — the match starts normally. After the system has counted up the players and decided that a match needs to be cancelled, the players get notified with a 5-second timer that they will be returned to the RM screen.
Progressive Ban System
While bans are a necessary penalty system, we’ve decided that the “one size fits all” approach is not very effective. The new system aims to make sure that honest players who got a ban once due to technical issues are not punished the same as regular offenders. We’re introducing a progressive ban system — a chain of different ban durations that moves forward or backward, depending on your actions.
The chain works like this:
For the first violation, the player gets banned for the time that corresponds to the first step of the chain. If they make another violation on the same day, the chain moves forward and the player gets a longer ban.
Once every day, the chain rolls back a step. So if you got a ban twice the previous day, the next day when you happen to get banned again, you receive a penalty corresponding to the second step of the chain.
Permanent bans function outside this system. Such bans include: being banned by the anti-cheat system, or being banned personally by the administration.
The chain consists of five steps: 5 minute, 30 minute, 3 hour, 12 hour, and 72 hour long bans.
What counts towards adding to the ban chain?
Leaving a match before it ended.
Dealing over 500 friendly damage results in the player being automatically kicked out of the match and getting a +1 in the ban chain.
Note, that the player not being able to load into the match due to technical issues does not count as leaving the match on purpose and thus doesn’t warrant a ban.

Beretta PMX
The Engineer’s arsenal will be expanded with a new submachine gun. The Beretta PMX submachine gun was designed by the Italian company Beretta in 2017 to replace its previous model M12 in law enforcement units.

The model will also be available in gold.

A new Battle Pass as part of the upcoming season "Treasure Hunters" will soon begin in Warface! It’s bringing some changes in the daily quest mechanic and the progression, new contracts for brand-new weapon series "Deep" and "Abyss".
Main Battle Pass Rewards
Four excellent guns of the "Abyss" series will be available in the Battle Pass store: HK433, Taurus CT9 G2, Kalashnikov USA KHAOS, and OTs-48. Show your opponents that you have no equal from the pits of the ocean all the way to the battlefield!
HK433
The HK433 is a German modular assault rifle fit for 5.56x45 bullets. It has a number of characteristics similar to the G36 and the HK416. It offers a good combination of specs: high base and minimal damage, high fire rate and accuracy, as well as increased damage multipliers to the head and the extremities. The rifle has a number of unique attachments, including a hybrid sight. The golden version offers better fire rate and a more spacious magazine.
You can install mods on it, unique ones included. The first one increases reload speed by swapping the magazine to a smaller one, and you can unlock it on the second mastery level. The second mod changes the firing mode to bursts-of-3 and boosts damage, whereas the fire rate gets reduced, and the recoil – increased.
Taurus CT9 G2
The Taurus CT9 G2 carbine is distributed together with a number of unique attachments. The gun’s good damage, range, and fire rate, as well as increased damage multipliers to the head and the limbs, are balanced out by a modest magazine capacity of only 24 bullets. The golden version has a higher fire rate and a bigger magazine.
The first of the weapon’s available mods expands its magazine. The other changes the fire mode to burst-of-3, increases the damage by 15 points and accuracy by 25%, while reducing the fire rate by 10%.
Kalashnikov USA KHAOS
The Kalashnikov USA KHAOS uses a gas-operation system, it offers a better rate of fire, as well as the weapon changing and reloading speeds, compared to the nearest competitors in the medic’s arsenal. The model is available in gold as well, it offers better damage and fire rate.
The unique "Jury-Rigged" mod switches the weapon’s firing mode into bursts-of-2, increases accuracy, yet decreases its damage and range. The other unique mod—"Trick Shot"—significantly increases the gun’s accuracy in jumping and adds extra movement speed.
OTs-48K MK2
The OTs-48K MK2 is a Russian sniper rifle developed in the late 90s for special forces soldiers. Compared to its competitors, the OTs-48 MK2 stands out for its high damage, increased body and limbs damage multiplier, and good firing range. The golden weapon version has a more spacious magazine.
The first of the two mods increases the weapon change speed and crosshair stability, while the second increases the dash speed, set off by reduced rate of fire.
Parts in the Shop
In the Battle Pass, you will be able to earn up to 10,000 parts to purchase and upgrade mods. You can get them in the Battle Pass store.
Daily Quests
The way the daily quests work will change. There will be a weekly limit on how many quests the player can take up, namely up to 10 active tasks. The quest slots will be available until this limit is reached. That means that the player can complete all 10 of the quests in one day and wait for the next week to reset the limit, or spread out the tasks throughout the week. The limit will be updated every Thursday
BP Rewards Multiplier
The match result display will be reworked in the new Battle Pass. The player will see, by what percentage their XP is boosted and the sum of all XP they got.
BP Progression
The Battle Pass progression will be extended to accommodate the extra XP the player will be getting through daily quests:
The XP needed to complete the main progression will be raised from 27 525 to 33 035.
The XP needed to complete a class contract will be raised from 21 000 to 29 250.
The XP needed to go through an additional BP level will be raised from 2000 to 2500.

An Update has been installed on the game servers. Waiting for you are the dangerously cool "Outlaws" event, in which you’ll be playing in the "Domination" mode, thematic novelties, including a new arm in the medics’ arsenal — the Kalashnikov USA KHAOS, improved versions of the older Cobalt Kinetics guns and their golden versions, some reworked interface elements, and a bunch of bug fixes.
The Outlaws event is live! Play in the "Domination" mode, complete special operations "Black Shark", "Blackout", and "Pripyat", and the "Retaliation" PvE mission. The system is the same as in the previous events: play the event mode and earn extra currency in PvE to spend in the event shop.
Kalashnikov USA KHAOS The Medic’s arsenal has a new addition in the form of a semi-automatic version of a 12-caliber shotgun. The weapon uses a gas-operation system similar to that of some legendary Kalashnikov models. In the game, the arm is aimed to better the medics’ weapon ergonomics by increasing the rate of fire, as well as the weapon changing and reloading speeds, compared to the nearest competitors.
The characteristics of the Kalashnikov USA KHAOS can be adjusted with mods. With a unique "Jury-Rigged" mod you can switch the weapon’s firing mode into bursts-of-2, increase accuracy, yet decrease its damage and range. The other unique mod—"Trick Shot"—significantly increases the gun’s accuracy in jumping and adds extra movement speed.
The model is available in gold as well, it offers better damage and fire rate.
Other
The "Myth" series got two new additional models: Kalashnikov USA KHAOS and Cobalt Kinetics Stealth Pistol.
Improvements of Old Weapon Models
The modification system has been expanded with the addition of some older models. Among those are Cobalt Kinetics Stealth Pistol and Cobalt Kinetics Twenty-Seven that you can now modify with mods. Furthermore, they’ve received a solid increase in their base characteristics.
Cobalt Kinetics Stealth Pistol
The weapon’s recoil has been tweaked, its damage and damage multipliers to the head and torso have been increased. On top of that, its fire rate and range have been improved, and the damage reduction by distance reduced. There’s also a golden version that differs from the regular one not only in its gorgeous appearance but also better rate of fire and range.
The model supports two unique mods. The first one offers a boost to the fire range, damage, and torso damage multipliers. The second one increases fire rate, reduces recoil, and significantly boosts head damage multipliers.
Cobalt Kinetics Twenty-Seven
The recoil has been changed, and the damage multipliers to the body and extremities have been increased for this model. There’s now also a golden model that boasts a more spacious magazine and a higher rate of fire.
The first of its two available mods, "Double Tap", allows switching the Cobalt Kinetics Twenty-Seven’s firing mode into burst-of-2 by lowering its fire rate and aiming speed, but increasing the base damage. The "Illegal Rejiggering" mod changes the firing mode into an automatic one, and decreases the damage and range. Both mods reduce the model’s recoil.

Known Issues
In the event, the players will get event currency and Crowns for completing the missions. However, the notification will only show information about the event currency — the Crowns will automatically be credited to your Crown funds. Rev up those engines and rush into battle! See you in the game!
Event details
PvP
In the PvP mode, you’ll be playing in the "Domination" mode on the "Sirius" and "Armageddon" maps. In order to win, you’ll need to capture and hold more bases than the opponent. The maps’ visuals have remained unchanged, they’re still the classic old locations you are used to.
To start playing, simply start a match from the event interface. The map will be chosen randomly, and you can play in groups of up to 8 pack members. The currency is credited for every PvP match in the event mode, its amount will depend on your personal efforts, as well as your team’s results.
PvE
In PvE you’ll be able to earn currency:
by completing the "Black Shark", "Blackout" and "Pripyat" special operations (all difficulties);
by completing the "Retaliation" mission.
You can invite up to 2 people to play with, both in Quickplay and in Custom Rooms. For completing the event missions, you will get both the event currency and Crowns.
Retaliation
The "Retaliation" mission is also back in rotation. You'll be able to access it from the event interface. In this mission, you'll be fighting on the side of Blackwood. The goal is to search through the enemy logistics base and find out, what kind of secrets the foe is hiding. The gameplay is diverse: you'll meet security stuff of different difficulty levels, turrets, claymores, electrical traps, and the final boss — a helicopter. Furthermore, you can complete mission's stages (the terminal activation) in three different ways: a difficult but fast one, one of medium difficulty and length, and an easy but time-consuming one. The choice will depend on the amount of terminals you're ready to simultaneously activate.
Currency gain and rewards
The matches in those modes are your main and stable source of currency, but if you need more, you can always complete the event contracts. You have 7 contracts in total: 2 daily ones (one for PvP and one for PvE) and 5 one-timers (for dealing damage and eliminating enemies). In the shop line-up, you’ll find the weapon and camo series "Cavalry" (AK Alpha, Typhoon F12, Sentry 12, Kriss Super V Custom, CDX-MC Kraken, and Kel-Tec RDB-C) and the "Highwayman" weapon series. In the showcase, you’ll find lucrative deals with a price reduction of up to 40% on parts and models from the previously released series. This time, the event showcase doesn't guarantee free prizses in the first slot, nor a reward for a chain of openings.
