An update has been installed onto the game servers. Waiting for you are a new PvP event "Brawl", content of a new Agent Grizzly, tweaks to step sounds and surrounding sounds, as well as bug fixes of the previous versions.

Did sounds become quieter or louder?
Can you hear steps well?
Can you understand where the sound is coming from (position it)?
Can you tell how sounds change depending on the surface type? For example, can you tell that the enemy is walking on top of a metal container, on wooden planes, water, or soil?
Changes to low Graphics Settings
The resource consumption on low graphics settings has been optimised. Now, when picking these settings, only low resolution textures are loaded in, as they consume less PC resources. The requirements for optimal hardware for graphics and game performance might become higher with time. If your PC does not meet them, it might be tough to have perfect results. Choose what is more important to you — performance or quality graphics. If you want the best experience, make sure your PC meets the minimal requirements and set the graphics to anything over "low" in the settings.

PvP Event "Winter Brawl"
This event is filled with holiday spirit and festive cheer, but has also kept the general principle of the previous events: play and earn the event currency to get desired novelties.
During the event, you will be able to try out the new PvP mode "Brawl", take advantage of new contracts and earn lots of rewards.

A "Carnival" gear set has been added to the game, it includes a mask and gloves. The items' characteristics are similar to those of the "Brainivore" series. More below.

Agent Grizzly Set
This tough looking Canadian man will very soon share his story. For now, we lift the veil and tell you about the items you will find in the agent's set: the Agent Grizzly Rifleman skin, H&K G36 Assault, TEC-9, and the Black Hawk axe of the "Woodland" series, along with camos for the regular versions of these weapons and the Bear Claw charm.
The agent's set is already available in the game shop.
Winter Holidays Contract

A new agent is already available in the game! Francis Dyke, aka Agent Grizzly, a lumberjack from a distant Canadian village who in his youth was a unique fighter of a secret government service has joined the ranks of Riflemen. Francis has been to many places and seen a lot, but no one living today knows the details of his adventures.
The Agent is part of the "Side by Side" seasonal update. You can learn more about it in a special publication.
Details
Francis spent his childhood and youth in a small town in the forests of Canada, and he was not much different from other boys. Like many of his peers, after high school, Francis moved to Toronto in search of a better life, and nothing has been heard from him since. After almost 30 years, he came back to his hometown, got a job as a lumberjack and bought a small isolated house in the forest. He would only give noncommittal answers about his adventures, saying that he had changed a lot of jobs and traveled.
Francis led a rather solitary life, but didn't seclude himself from society. He often showed in the town and helped his neighbors with household chores. He was at bottom a quiet and good-natured neighbor. But he also was a little weird: several times a year, on the same dates, he locked himself up, didn't go out anywhere and didn't let anyone in. Local people preferred not to approach Francis's house at such moments. According to them, he kicked up incredible rows all alone. Sometimes, he appeared in a local bar seeking for a reason to start a brawl and ended up his night at the police station. But all these sprees stopped as abruptly as they began and Francis again became a kind and slightly eccentric lumberjack.
In the first few years after his return, locals saw how a black governmental helicopter landed near Francis's house, but soon hurriedly flew away. After a couple of years, such visits stopped, and Dyke did not say anything about their reasons. Local boys, who adored their strange neighbor, told all sorts of stories — that Francis worked for the government, but refused to carry out some order and was forced to hide, that he served in a top-secret special forces unit and went crazy from what he saw, or that he worked for some shadow government and had been assigned to watch over the locals. It should be noted that these stories were not so far from the truth. Francis really was a unique fighter in a secret governmental service for many years and left after a conflict with his superiors. But nobody knows where he fought and what he saw, and Dyke himself is unlikely to tell. Apparently he saw a lot...

How can I get "Tickets"?
Complete shopkeepers' tasks on the promo page. For each task/a pair of tasks, you will receive one "Ticket".
Check in on the promo page daily. For every 5 check-ins, you will receive three "Tickets". If you miss a day, the progress will not be reset. But we recommend visiting the promo page every day to collect as many gifts as possible.
Very soon, once every three days, a mini-game will appear when you enter the promo page. Upon successful completion of the game, you will receive an additional "Ticket". Failed the first time? No problem! The number of attempts isn't limited.
The "Tickets" will expire at 09:00 UTC on January 23. Don't forget to spend them in the promo page shop before the event is over.

"New Year Festival" Contract
The new contract will create a festive mood, as well as allow you to replenish your arsenal with cool thematic weapons and equipment for 30 days. Play on winter maps and complete contract quests to earn the Candy Knife, Aggressive Christmas equipment, Gingerbread Gun, Christmas Firecracker, and other festive items, plus 1,000 parts as the ultimate reward.
The contract will be available from 14:00 UTC on December 16, 2022 until 14:00 UTC on January 15, 2023.

A hotfix has been installed on the servers. In this version, we have fixed the problem with passive device upgrading, crashes with the IMBEL IA2 Assault, and other critical issues of the previous update.
Content Changes
Molotov: the item has been temporarily banned in Ranked Matches because it may work incorrectly when colliding with objects on the map. Some players exploited this, and it negatively affected the match balance. The information has been forwarded to the developers. We will keep you updated on the matter, stay tuned.

New PvP Mode "Winter Brawl"
The battles in the new mode will take place on the winter maps — XMAS Hangar or Bridges Modern. Don't miss the chance to not only enjoy the combat, but also the beauty of these festive themed maps. And don't forget to take cool screenshots!
This is where the fun begins! After the players are divided into two teams, the match starts. To win, one of the teams will need to score 200 points, before their opposing team does. If this doesn't happen before the timer runs out, the team that scored the most points wins. But to achieve victory, you will have to fight in pretty unusual conditions — with the help of power ups, that can completely change the course of the game!
What you need to know about the power ups
Among the power ups you will be able to find those that will increase your health, armor, and recovery or change your level of mobility. With great power ups comes great responsibility, keep in mind that some power ups can play a cruel trick on you and even take away your ability to use conventional weapons when you need them most. But don't be afraid of the power ups, because they will give truly incredible abilities and can turn you into one of the special classes:
Rocketman — a rocket launcher with an unlimited number of ammo that recovers over time will fall into your hands. You also don't lose your weapon and get additional protection from explosions.
Pyromaniac — you get a flamethrower and a Molotov cocktail.
Juggernaut — you will become the owner of a heavy machine gun with an unlimited supply of ammunition, but you will lose almost all of your mobility, and you won't be able to slide, run, jump, squat and help allies double climb. Your only weak spots left will be your head and the reactor on your back.
Ninja — is the complete opposite of Juggernaut. All your weapons are replaced by a single Katana with increased characteristics. In addition, your mobility is multiplied by increasing your running speed, the duration of your sprint, you get the ability to climb taller objects without allies, and the noise from your footsteps will be reduced. In addition, the Ninja will reduce the duration of the slide, which will give additional maneuverability.
You will be able to pick up power ups on the map, which will play an audio alert and show up on the minimap when they appear.
You won't be able to pick up a power up accidentally, you will have to "use" the power up.
Depending on the power up you got, you will have a special ability that can remain active until the end of the match.
Upon the player's death, the power up is released and can be stolen by any other player.
Eliminating an enemy with a power up, will award you more points.
You can only have one power up at a time, so if you choose to pick up another power up, you will lose the one you currently have.
Event shop
In the event shop, you will find a new skin — the Arctic Trooper Suit. This skin has a different look for each side (Warface and Blackwood) and can also be installed on any class.
You will also find many other novelties in the event store line up: holiday equipment, the "Present" camouflage series for the АК-47, H&K G36 Assault, Fabarm P.S.S.10, SR-2 Veresk, SIG MPX Copperhead and M40A5, a box with weapons from the "Present" series and a charm.
If you don't have the time to earn the amount of currency you want, you will be able to purchase it. In the event shop you will find sets of 300, 800, 2,200 or 5,000 black market coins that will help you get your desired novelties.
After the event ends, all black market coins on your account will expire. Don’t forget to spend your saved up currency!
Be sure to take a look at the event showcase. By opening cards, you will receive discounts on items that were previously hidden, and purchase them. And if you were looking for something special, but didn't find the right item, you can always update the cards. You will come across weapons, camouflages from winter series and festive items. There are more than 70 items, so even the most sophisticated and demanding players will be able to find something that suits their taste. You will be able to purchase all of these items for the event currency at a discount, and some of the items will be available completely free of charge. "Present" Weapons Series

In addition, you can purchase camouflages of the same series for the regular versions of the weapon from the event store.

Battle Pass
The "Side by Side" Battle Pass will be active until the 13th of February, 2023. Know your strengths and focus on that date. It is unlikely that the season will be prolonged.
In the current season, the Battle Pass has undergone many changes that we announced before. Use the contents list below to navigate to the change you are interested in, or click on the buttons "More on the BP" and "BP FAQ" to jump to the corresponding articles.
Main Changes:
possibility to choose Daily Quests and a major system reworking;
added class specific contracts as the main way to earn weapon tokens;
added parts to the seasonal shop;
reduced the amount of the main progression levels;
increased the amount of additional levels;
reconsidered XP gain for matches in PvE and Special Operations.
There are several types of rewards in the Battle Pass:
main progression rewards (camos, weapon charms, permanent secondary weapons, consumables, and currency);
additional progression rewards (weapon tokens);
daily and class specific contract rewards (in the first case, you can get a seasonal weapon box, in the second — weapon tokens and a class achievement);
weapons and parts in the seasonal shop.
To get all the seasonal BP shop weapons, you will have to complete 4 class specific contracts. One contract yields enough weapon tokens to buy one permanent weapon. There is a restriction: the contracts are only available from the 15th BP level for the owners of premium access of any type.
And if you want to also earn parts, then be active and unlock additional BP levels. The more you unlock, the more rewards you can buy from the seasonal shop. It is also worth mentioning, that if you wish to first buy some parts and then purchase guns, it is also possible.
So, to get the most out of the BP, you need to play actively and regularly, complete daily quests and contracts, but to get the bare minimum it is sufficient to unlock basic progression levels.
More About the Rewards
Among the Battle Pass rewards, you can find the "Strider" and "Wanderer" series, thematic charms, as well as achievements. Let's take a closer look!
"Strider" Series The "Strider" series includes cool weapons that you can shape to your need using mods (except for the Push Daggers, as they do not have mods). Take a look at the AK Alpha, Typhoon F12, Kriss Super V Custom, and CDX-MC Kraken. Their characteristics got improved, and you can make them even more effective with the mod system.

"Wanderer" Series The guns of the "Wanderer" series look like they have been through rough and tumble and have lost their sheen. Don't judge a book (or a gun) by its cover. Their firepower and reliability is as high as ever! The weapons of this series are not modifiable.

New Charms and Achievements The new season also brings a new achievement and a set of thematic charms that you can decorate your profile and weapons with. You will get the new customization items once you unlock certain Battle Pass levels. And if you want more achievements, you are welcome to complete class contracts.
BP Coins
These are the main BP currency that you can spend in the seasonal shop. There are two ways to earn these coins:
by completing daily and class specific contracts;
by unlocking additional progression levels.
As already mentioned before, one completed contract yields enough tokens to buy some parts or one permanent weapon from the seasonal shop. If you complete all contracts and unlock additional levels, you could buy every item in the shop's assortment. Do not forget: weapon tokens expire after the season ends and are not transferred to the next. The shop's line-up of this season offers two types of rewards: parts and powerful weapons of the "Strider" series that can be modified. You will find such guns as the assault rifle H&K G36 Assault, the Sentry 12 rifle, dual-wield machine-guns SIG MPX Copperhead, and the Kel-Tec RDB-C sniper rifle.

To get permanent weapons, you will have to buy their temporary versions in this order: for 3, 5, 7, and 9 days (costing 25/50/75/125 BP coins accordingly), and finally the permament weapon for 175 BP coins. In total, you will spend 450 BP coins to obtain a permanent weapon.
Prestige Levels
The "Side by Side" prestige season will continue until the 15th of March, 2023.
Prestige are additional levels (from 101st to 1000th) in the progression system that you can unlock as long as the seasonal activity is on. Progressing through the Prestige levels is the same as with the regular levels: you play and gain XP for every battle. The only difference is that the Prestige levels require more XP and are reset each season.
Changes that took place in this season:
decreased the total XP needed to unlock all Prestige levels (from 18 155 200 to 10 662 000);
updated rewards: now, instead of getting golden weapons, you get parts; boosters last longer, and there are more consumables.

Ranked Matches
The "Side by Side" Ranked Matches season will be active until the 22nd of March, 2023.
Changes that took place this season:
the Molotov is now permitted in RM;
all versions of the Kel-Tec RDB-C are now permitted in RM;
after the season ends, there may be an inter-seasonal period when the ranked PvP will be inaccessible until the start of the next season. This pause will give you time to relax and gather your strength for the next challenge, and us — the time to tweak and improve the game before the next season.

The seasonal shop line-up has been updated. Some of the previous season's articles are available again, new items have been added, boxes and temporary guns have been switched up. All in all, you can add to your collection many noteworthy items and achieve even more glorious victories!
The new "Side by Side" season is already live on the servers! You will find lots of pleasant novelties: mods for the legendary guns AK Alpha, Typhoon F12, Kriss Super V Custom, and CDX-MC Kraken; mods for devices, a unique dual-wield machine gun SIG MPX Copperhead, class-specific contracts and the possibility to choose daily quests in the Battle Pass, as well as new Ranked Matches, prestige, and BP seasons. Furthermore, we have fixed numerous bugs and made other important changes.
