Warforged Content Update #3

This update features the first world boss, the lich.




--Patch Notes--


-Lich Tower: Slay a lich to claim one of two powerful artifacts.

-Archery camera polishing.

-Raised dwarf camera position.

-Fixed body/head skin tone matching.

-UI text upgrades.

-Balance tweaks.

-Misc bug fixes.

-Player army movement speed increased.

Warforged Content Update #2. Now available for $9.99.

This update features mostly upgrading and polishing of current content, along with a small number of additions.


--Patch Notes--


-Faction AI has been upgraded. Factions will now attempt to expand their territory.

-Bandit Factions: Bandits now create raiding camps outside your towns. Each bandit faction has a stronghold, destroy a stronghold to stop raiding camps from that faction.
Note - This was added last week, but I did not include any patch notes.

-Command posts are now fully functional. Building a command post will station a defensive army outside the town. Upgrade the command post to increase the strength of this army. These armies will respawn at the start of every week.

-NPC sieging has been reworked.

-Agility will now increase maximum stamina.

-Players can now remove troops from their army.

-Balance tweaks.

-Bug fixes.

Warforged Patch Notes 4/14-4/21

Rolled out a number of small updates throughout this past week, here is an outline of what they contained. Note: This is not a full Content Update. I expect to be finished with the second Content Update within 1-2 weeks.

-Slight increase to army travel speed.

-Multiple bug fixes.

*Updated* Warforged Price Change. Soon available for $9.99.

To anyone considering purchasing, please make sure to wait until the price has dropped from $14.99 to $9.99. The price change is currently pending approval from Steam.

After a week of community feedback, I have decided to drop the price of Warforged for the time being. I want players to feel they are getting a great value for their money. As new content is added and current content is polished, the price will most likely slowly rise throughout Early Access.

To everyone who already purchased the game, I am extremely thankful for the support and sincerely sorry for any amount overpaid. To everyone who has not yet logged 2 hours in-game, I strongly urge you to request a refund from Steam and purchase again for the lowered price.

UPDATE:

Due to consumer protection laws, Steam does not allow a price change until 30 days have passed since launch. This means you can expect the lowered price to be available early in the first week of May.

Warforged Content Update #1

The first Content Update is now live! We had a wild launch week filled with bug fixing, but managed to get some additions done as well. Huge thank you to all Early Access supporters so far! The following is patch notes for the first Warforged Content Update:

---Gameplay Changes---

-Weapon and Magic types now have different effects:
-Fire Magic burns.
-Swords/Arrows will cause Bleeding.
-Ice Magic can Root.
-Blunt weapons can Stun.
-Axes can Critical hit.
-Lightning Magic can Critical hit.

-High tier unit health has been increased.


---New Content---

-Stables can now be built at any town. Stables give access to mounts for your army, increasing Campaign Map movement speed at the cost of additional upkeep.

-Random rogue army ambushes and sieges.

Warforged Launch Update #2

---Gameplay Changes---

-Sprint stamina cost has been increased.

-Mana regeneration has been removed from the game. Max mana bonus' from wisdom and mage armor have been increased to compensate.

-Bounty danger scaling is now working correctly.

-Unit damage has been fixed, they were much lower than intended.

-Bug fixes.

Warforged Launch Hotfix

Rolled a few small updates out that will hopefully fix weapon swapping, unit purchasing, and clean up autosave issues that players are experiencing.

If you encounter a bug, drop a comment on the "Warforged Bug Reports" Community Thread and I will look into it ASAP.

Warforged Status

Warforged is in the final stage of private testing, the game build will be uploaded to Steam for review within the next couple of days.

If the review goes smoothly, expect Warforged to be available on Steam at some point next week.
