Dawn of War III is now available to pre-order in three formats: Collector's Edition, Limited Edition, and Standard Edition. The Collector's Edition will include a premium disc book, a lenticular art card, the official soundtrack (digital download), three mounted cloth faction banners, the Masters of War skin pack, and a replica of the Gabriel Angelos' Godsplitter Daemon Hammer! THE NECRON OVERLORD
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution is turning five, and there's a brand new hero arriving in time for the party. The Necron Overlord has been requested by fans to be playable in The Last Stand mode for years, and we're proud to announce that he's joining the fight as the eighth playable champion to celebrate the anniversary!
Not only that, but starting today, March 10, and going until March 15, you can grab the Necron Overlord on Steam completely FREE! Then from March 15 onward, the Necron will be available to purchase as DLC. It's our way of saying thanks to our loyal community, we really couldn't ask for more dedicated fans.
As well as the Necron Overlord, we're also implementing a patch for Dawn of War II: Retribution that fixes some of the issues our community has found over the years. For more info on what's being updated, be sure to check out the Dawn of War Blog!

Play as one of the six available heroes and gain experience to level up and unlock new wargear and abilities. Customize your character’s abilities to create the ultimate build and fight off twenty waves of increasingly devastating enemies!

From September 24 10AM PDT through to September 27 1PM PDT, Dawn of War I and II, plus all expansions, are free to play on Steam. As well, for new recruits, or veterans looking to complete their collection, both titles and all expansions are 75% off until September 28 at 10AM PDT. As a special thank you to all our loyal players, and as a welcome to anyone new to the franchise, we’ve also added some bonuses to DoW I and II.
• The Temple of Cyrene is a brand new, official multiplayer map we’re adding into the Dawn of War I rotation. This map will be playable in DoW the Dark Crusade and Soulstorm expansions. The Temple of Cyrene sits on the blasted landscape of a world scoured clean by the Exterminatus of the Imperial Inquisition. Homeworld of Gabriel Angelos, Cyrene is now a ghost-world of ruined cities and ashen fields. Fight for supremacy amidst the remains of Cyrene’s once-mighty temples. Claim the three critical locations at the heart of the ruins or drive into enemy bases and deliver annihilation.
• In Dawn of War II, we’re giving away four free sets of Wargear; The Vanguard, Sniper, Sternguard, and Destroyer, to equip in the main campaign that were previously only available as pre-order DLC, or as rare loot drops. Now everyone will be able to equip items like the Veteran’s Grenades, Blade of Ulyus, Armor of the Destroyer, and many more to complete your sets!
