Regarding Availability and Online Functionality

Inquisitors,

With our recent sale of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Definitive Edition many of you wondered whether this might be a sign of imminent delisting or some kind of ceasing of online services. This is absolutely, definitely not the case.

We believe in preserving our work for future players, so Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is not going to be delisted nor become unusable. This is true for all DLCs also. The game was conceived as an online experience and it was presented in an online mode for a reason. However, we'd also like to ensure that everybody can play, so naturally, we have plans to add an offline mode sometime in the near future, with an additional surprise!

In short: Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr will not be purged from existence. There's one simple reason for this:

The Emperor Protects.

W40k: Inquisitor - Martyr - Definitive Edition & Sale!

Inquisitors,

We're pleased to announce that we have released Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Definitive Edition. This is a new bundle that will replace the Complete Collection, adding the Sororitas Class into the package.

This is now considered the most complete edition you can get, with five classes to play as, and numerous planets to cleanse. We're also celebrating the game and its DLCs with a huge Steam sale starting today - the base game and the Definitive Edition have received an incredible 90% discount while the Sororitas Class is 50% off for those who don't own it yet.

It's been five years since the game's original launch, and we hope you've been enjoying it - and if you're still new to the Caligari Sector, now is the time to delve into it!

In case you're wondering, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is still supported, so make sure to leave any feedback, and enjoy the unending purge.

Patch v2.7.3

New Features

Enchantment Browser

With Season 7, we introduce a long awaited feature to Inquisitor - the ability to view all enchantments and their properties within the game. To access the Browser, players must have Artificer Omikron Arkh unlocked on the Command Bridge - the Browser has its own separate tab on the crafting UI.

Main Features of the Enchantment Browser include:

  • Filter by name
  • Filter by type (Primary/Secondary/etc.)
  • Filter by Item Type (what items can a specific enchant roll on)
  • Filter by Seasonal / Non-Seasonal
  • Filter by Class
  • Filter by equipped/inventory item
  • Upon selecting an enchant, its its unique ID and valid items are displayed on top of the enchantment's type and descripton. The browser automatically updates on selecting or deselecting criteria, or by typing in an enchant ID or description.

Seasonal Overview

Maledictive Missions

75% of all Random Missions will have unique rewards but also new enemy hazards and rewards:

  • Within Noxious Missions, enemies are cursed with the Toxins of Nurgle.
  • Dangerous Warp Anomalies spread across Warpbound Missions. Some are beneficial, some are lethal.
  • Infernal fires spread across Smouldering Missions. Can you handle the heat?

Caches of Malediction

  • Within each type of Maledictive Mission, players can find Caches of Malediction - each of them contains different, valuable treasures!

Void Crusades of Malediction

  • Within Void Crusades of Malediction, every Champion+ enemy becomes Maledictive
  • Every 24 hours, three Void Crusades become Maledictive, rotating in a linear way during the course of the Season
  • Within a Void Crusade of Malediction, every mission is Maledictive.

Seals of Malediction

Within the Season of Malediction, players can obtain a new type of Seasonal Item called Malediction Seals.

These items were designed to aid players within the Season and to counter the effects of each type of Malediction. Each of them bears a huge bonus against its opposite element, but each of them bear various penalties, so choose carefully which one you use.

  • There are two types of Seals from each element, an offensive and a defensive type. Their stats can roll in a wide range and cannot be rerolled, so you must get lucky, or be patient until you get your desired Seal of Malediction.
  • Seals of Malediction can be dropped from Heralds of Malediction, or purchased via Ragna van Wynter on the Command Bridge for 2000 Slivers of Malediction. Each Stash of Malediction contains a Purity Seal of the same element (it is a 50/50 chance which one will you get).

[Official] Season 6 Closure

Fellow Inquisitors,

The end of the Season is closing in on us with the 14th of June, and with it, it is time to recap what happens to your Seasonal characters.

  • First of all, after the Season of Escalation ends, there will be a two-week period to allow players to sort out their merged gear and characters and prepare for the new tasks.
  • Seasonal characters will simply become non-seasonal, regular characters, so you will be able to keep playing with them. The items you have on your characters, stash, and inventory will be also transferred over to non-season. Seasonal items with special names and enchants will remain - you might find some use to their special enchants during upcoming events!
  • There are several Seasonal mechanics tied to the Seasonal Journey and the Objectives in it - those rewards tied to the Journey will not be carried over, such as the Store discount bonuses. However, the remaining Seasonal Shards that your character might have, albeit not dropping or craftable anymore, will be carried through into non-season.
  • Currencies like Favor, Credits, and Fate will be simply merged into non-season. It is time to buy all that extra stuff with the goods you have earned! Crafting materials such as Sparks of Glory will be merged as well. Speaking of crafting, your blueprint charges on Seasonal characters should add up to your non-seasonal charges. All your unlocked blueprints, and Inoculator unlocks should be carried over safely as well.
  • Aside of items and crafting, Campaign and assignment progress is going to be carried over as well, of course, along with Ordo and Influence unlocks. Your Heroic Deeds that you have unlocked on your Seasonal Inquisitor should now be unlocked on your regular characters. Heroic Deed progress should be carried over and added to your existing progress, so you may get some additional unlocks!
  • Tarot Card progress should work in a bit different way: Unlocked tarot cards will be carried over, but for the cards in progress, the player will receive the same amount of tarot card items instead. Tarot Seals will simply be carried over and merged into non-Season.
  • Your active missions should remain as they are, such as Intels and Void Crusades.

When this all happens, there should be a longer maintenance period so we can ensure that everything is transferred over correctly. After this period ends, there will be two weeks of inter-Seasonal time so you can freely sort out your characters and stash.

Be aware, however! The heretics will have plenty of time to regroup those two weeks, and some well-deserved purging should be in order for them once Season 7 kicks off. Prepare for battle!
