Other impressive stats, Warhammer 40,000 Regicide players have been awarded over 500,000 achievements in the seven years of play!
Unfortunately, we regretfully announce the immediate closure of the servers and will be unlisting the Steam Release, Google Play Store, and the Apple App Store from Today, the 19th of October, 2022.
For Game Preservation, Offline mode will still work for prior installs.
Hammerfall will be venturing into new and exciting projects in the future.

Update: Balance changes + achievements!
+ Updated Skirmish AI Requisition Rewards for kills and captures
+ Updated Skirmish AI Experience Rewards for kills and captures
+ Increase Skirmish AI difficulties
+ Increased Campaign Experience Rewards on Draws from 100 to 200
+ Fixed bug where campaign achievements were not unlocking for some users

Server Hosting Upgrade Complete
Our server migration is now complete, and all services should be working as normal. We’re incredibly thankful for your patience during this time, and as a result we’ve unlocked White Scars and an additional award of 10,000 Requisition points for anyone who logs in between the 13th & the 20th of February.

Change of Server Hosting Provider
Hail, loyal Imperial Citizens!
Firstly, a sincere thank you from all of us at Hammerfall Publishing for the hours, days, weeks, and months that you’ve spent playing WH40K:Regicide. Your support means the world to us, and we’re incredibly lucky to have such an amazing community.
In respect of this, we want to be 100% upfront and transparent about the fact that we are upgrading our server hosting provider… a decision that we’ve put extensive effort into, and one that we truly feel will improve both reliability and how we can provide support to you, our players.
The gargantuan task of transferring a database covering three platforms and a huge amount of players doesn’t happen quickly, and our current estimate puts the downtime at a fortnight, during which game progress, xp and requisition points may not be saved.
Multiplayer will not be available on any platform during this time.
As a thank you for your patience over the migration period, we will be unlocking the White Scars for all players who log in the week after it's all completed.
We will, of course, do everything we can to make the transition as smooth as possible, though please note that you might experience various issues, especially in relation to your player data. Our support@hammerfallpublishing.com team will be on hand to assist, inform, and update you during this time.

What an incredible year for our game. We launched on two additional platforms (with cross-platform multiplayer), massively grew our player base, received thousands of your (wonderfully gory) screenshots, and had to clean up a metric tonne of spilled blood from the battlefield. As a thank you all for your support, we're currently part of the Steam Winter Sale, at 67% off.

Regicide will be participating in the Steam Halloween Sale!
It is with great honor that I announce the following changes to Warhammer: 40,000 Regicide. Our Librarians have worked tirelessly to ensure battlefield performance has been optimized for 32- and 64-bit systems. In addition, an Audio issue has been resolved on Windows 10, and multiple other enhancements, fixes and optimizations have been implemented.
You carry the Emperor's will as your torch, with it destroy the shadows.
Go forth, Citizens. This isn't War. This is REGICIDE.
