Critical update 16th Nov 2022

Fixed a really stupid bug that made the game never load a map if you exited out near the edge of the map.
Thanks to Goodboy for helping me solve this problem.

Small update 16th November 2022

Small update helping to provide diagnostics.

The total map size shown on the loading screen was incorrect, this is now fixed.

Available disc space for save games is shown on the title screen, If this is low a warning is shown.

Disk type is checked to confirm that it is NTFS and also shown on the title screen, again a warning if it is not.

Non NTFS games will work fine, however they are limited in map size to just over 2 GIG.

Balance Update 12th November 2022

This is a large balancing + some bug fixing.

As each level is reached the gap to the next level is increase by 1.5 % up to level 100. This is now changed to 2% and goes to level 350. This has the effect of stretching out the time it takes to level up to something more like I expected.

Ai Visibility rules have been amended depending on your difficulty level.

All creatures have had there hit points rebalanced, Some creatures are now much stronger and take allot more hits.

XP from creatures is when you kill them and is based on how hard the creature is, You no longer get XP from looting dead bodies, Only materials.

You now get XP from looting containers.

Fixed the XP rendering not showing the correctly scaled numbers when perk is used.

Fixed the XP wrapping when you go up more than 1 point in a single XP gain.

Daylight length has changed so that the harder the setting the longer the night will be.

As always, I welcome any feedback on these changes.

Small Update 6th November 2022

Small update, There is now a select preferred screen option in the config screen ( game tab ). This allows those with multiple monitors to select which screen they prefer to play the game on. Once set you need to restart the game for it to take effect.

I have tested this update as far as I can with the equipment at hand, If anyone has any issues with it please let me know.

Update 5th November 2022

Maybe a controversial update, Creatures that die by drowning will provide very little in the way of XP and food, They will also de-spawn quickly. If you kill the creature then it will hang around for at least a day. Loot from fire demons that drown still last the same length of time.

Increased mouse speed adjustment range.

You can cancel the searching wait for loot containers.

Rendering issue on some graphics cards for some loot.

Update Nov 3rd 2022

Small update.

Pause mode now works as intended, Either bring up the Quit screen or the Steam overlay and the ai will stop moving, animation for flames etc. will still continue.

The AI no longer activate whilst the preload is taking place.

Some buttons on the devices have had there hit boxes adjusted ( in particular on and off buttons).

Emptying containers now default to spawning the items into the world allowing you 30 seconds to collect anything you want, Alternatively there is an option in the config to just straight up destroy the items.

Both upper and lower case are now supported on all input boxes in the game.

Small update 1st November 2022

Small update to create an option on the configuration screen to adjust the interface mouse speed, 1 is standard, below will slow down the mouse and higher will increase.

Bug fix on some items allowing to be build in hand when the resources were clearly not available.

Update 30th October 2022

Small update to address the following:-

Frequency of coughing and stomach rumbling has been adjusted.
Escape key processing has been adjusted to be a press/release event rather than simple press. If you press the escape for longer than a game frame it would effectively kick you out.

During W3 development a bug was discovered in the occlusion system, Although this doesn't seem to have appeared in the wild it has been corrected anyway.
