Brigand: Battles, also Version 10.7

HOOHAW! Done with the new DLC. It's called BRIGAND - BATTLES and there are only 3 maps, and you can choose which one to play and then make a character. I tried to make all skills useful, but Software is completely useless on the 2nd challenge map in the jungle, sorry.

I also fixed a bunch of other shit. Major update. Final Brigand update for the rest of eternity. Gonna get back on Warlordocracy next week.

SCRIPTS:
-Fixed bug where some basic Steam achievements wouldn't unlock in Panama.
-Added Enforcer to Thunder's shop in DEFAULT assets, as well as training.
-Fixed some basic default conversation scripts of characters in DEFAULT assets folder.
-Increased Vitality and Agility of the Creeper, now awards 5 points on death.
-(BATTLES) Added 4 new Steam achievements.

RESROUCES:
-Added new sound effect: zipper.wav.
-Added a face portrait for the Creeper.
-Added new alternate bed texture (dirty): bed3B.png.

STORY FILES: (requires starting a new game)
-Changed initial reactions so there are no hostile messages on starting new game.
-(NIGHTMARE) Added sound effects for when the Creeper appears on the map.

I've been slacking in the Warlordocracy department due to a day job and severe carpal tunnel, but I did patch Brigand for the final time ever.

-Removed script command "moneyMax" (max is now always 9999)
-Added new script command: "headshotBonus" (default x2, but max is x100).
-Fixed "Press ESC to Exit" text overlap problem in world editor while looking at an object.

SCRIPTS:
-You now have the option in the sewers to instruct Carmen and LC to wait at the Body Count instead of Junkfort.

Warlordocracy Early Access v1.8

This update is mostly to prep for when I start on Chapter 2. Lots of new city-themed tiles and objects I'll be using in the future. Also I finished the unconscious status effect. I just got a sweet job, but I'm gonna start designing maps for Chapter 2 pretty soon.

Complete list of fixes:

-When overeating, vomiting now only happens randomly, the chance depending on food type.
-Finished unconscious status condition (cancelled after being attacked, but 1 second stun period, not in Ch.1).
-Added new objects (not in Ch.1): bench, streetlight, birdbath, banners, clockTree, clockTree2, cityGate.
-Added new city tiles (not in Ch.1): wallTile tiles, battlements tiles.

Market Research Question

I thought Brigand would take longer than it did for most people, so I'm curious about Warlordocracy Chapter 1 (not just the demo). I was hoping each chapter would take at least 5 hours on the first playthrough. I plan to make the final Chapter 1 and world editor cost $8.99 or something, then each chapter after that cost $4.99 as a DLC.

There will be 6 chapters total in the main storyline with the main party. Then in the distant future make a bunch of short stories or something were you play as a different species.

Warlordocracy Early Access v1.7

Added two new maps and a new sidequest to Chapter 1, plus a lot of other fixes.

Complete list of fixes:

-Player can no longer complete Ch.1 if main objective failed.
-Tweaked damage resistance to floor the float to integer instead of rounding it.
-Characters no longer reset position when changing status (hungry, poison, etc.).
-Added a new quest from Ordius to kill krugen chief Gug in Whispering Way.
-Added two new maps to Ch.1: Whispering Way and Small Cave.
-Added new objects: Outhouse and Cracked Boulders.
-Map now redrawn when resized.
-Updated some dialogue\texts.

Warlordocracy Early Access v1.6

Complete list of fixes:

-Added inventory management buttons (swap item left/right).
-Prevented player from choosing a name of a character from the story (misc\naming.wsl).
-Fixed some problem with drawing X destinations while main player wasn't selected.
-Improved Jadenbury Bridge aesthetics a little.
-Finished character creation in Ch.2.

Warlordocracy Early Access v1.5

Almost every character/creature gets more max health now to make battles last longer. Also, there are an additional 2 appearance options for each gender, new leather armor you can buy from Ordius on Old Mill Road (with new character sprites). Other minor fixes.​

-Increased max Health and Meta for all intelligent mobiles and most animals and monsters (battles last longer).
-Added another 2 appearance options for each gender (10 total), player can now preview before selecting.

-Ordius now sells leather armor, new player sprite.

Warlordocracy Early Access v1.4

Completely new soundtrack (sorry Kevin MacLeod). The performance is definitely improved on my computer, so please let me know how it runs on other computers. Also, when you die in the tutorial now, you automatically wake up in Chapter 1. Lots of other little fixes.

-Completely changed soundtrack (Kevin MacLeod is overused in indie games).
-Improved performance a bit by fixing selection circles and destination X's.
-Improved performance a bit by making object checks every 4 seconds instead of 3.
-Fixed bug where loading the game after failing main objective doesn't reset failure.

Warlordocracy Early Access v1.3

Gonna take a break for like a month and try to look for a real-person job. But Warlordocracy will be out of Early Access by New Years, hopefully with Chapter 2 finished.


Updates:

-Updated maps by blocking pointless deadends between buildings (prevents faulty pathfinding).
-Party members will now make immediate turns while moving if direct path is clear (including through doors).
-Updated world Atlas with map of Calim'Shai (done with world maps for now).

Warlordocracy Early Access v1.2

Getting fucked up at the local library and fixed a problem where mobiles would spaz out when pathfinding in a corner. The AI pathfinding is still shit, but the mobiles won't spaz out flipping into a bunch of different directions at least. Also, lots of other fixes and main character descriptions.

-Fixed problem where mobiles would spaz out with rotation in a corner.
-Fixed bug where you couldn't pick up items on the same tile as a broken door.
-Fixed problem from previous patch that stopped water tiles from being animated.
-Increased well and guillotine collision size so you can't drop items behind it.

-Opening world editor now resets all object positions to tile center.
-Smithing ability now requires a hammer.
-Added descriptions for main characters.
-Milk now also cures some hunger.
