1. Unlimited purchase of Red Soul Trials is now available.
2. Enhanced blue talent, "Ultimate Flashback," now lasts for 5 seconds (previously 3 seconds) and increases damage by 25% (previously 15%).
3. Added rewards to the "Rise From the Depths" trial: Defeating the end boss will grant an extra drop of one Legendary or higher quality Ultimate Talisman.
4. Optimized the AI of the Infiltrator Hunter: It will no longer instantly turn during attacks.

Experience Optimization:
1. The initial talent points have been increased from 10 to 20, with the default cap raised to 41.
2. The reward for clearing the true ending, "Heroic Hymn," has been adjusted from adding 1 talent point to adding 2.
3. Talent Plate adjustments: Players will now start with 4 gourds and basic refinement abilities, along with instant health regeneration.
- Original gourd talent effects modified to +1/+2.
- Refinement talent effects modified to refinement effect +0.5%/1%.
- Mask Medicine modified to "One More Gourd," granting a 25% chance not to consume a "Gourd" when used.
4. Optimized the overall difficulty curve for Wood Rat Line and reduced the AI difficulty for the minor boss "QingYi" in the "Chapter Of Pig ."

Dear players,

Since the launch of DLC2 yesterday, we have been closely paying attention to various communities and have collected a lot of feedback from players regarding high difficulty in the early stages, high difficulty for talent upgrades, issues with certain boss designs, and the incomplete unlocking of talent limits, among other issues. We sincerely appreciate everyone's feedback, and we have recorded and continuously discussed solutions.

We admit that we did not fully consider these issues during our testing process, and we sincerely apologize to all players who have been affected by these issues! After identifying the problems, we immediately started making adjustments and modifications to address the key issues. These changes will be reflected in tonight's update, and our programmers are still working hard. We will briefly outline the solutions.

1. Poor experience in the early stages, dealing low damage without talents and unable to obtain Orange Souls to upgrade talents.
We will significantly optimize the experience during the early stages of the game. The initial talent points will be increased from 10 to 20, and the new player tutorial will be enhanced. We will optimize the overall difficulty of the initial level and adjust Boss AI appropriately.

2. Inability to use the old talent trees and the need to grind for new talent trees is exhausting.
IAfter invreasing the initial talent points from 10 to 20, it'll reduce the initial difficulties and shortening the cultivation time for everyone. We have also made adjustments to the drop ratio of Orange Souls. The number of basic healing gourds will be increased, and basic refinement and instant healing will become default functions.

3. Insufficient number of study rooms for building formation.
We will reduce the appearance rate of Blue Soul rooms and increase the appearance rate of item rooms.

4. Increase in the number of talent books results in difficulty acquiring desired books.
We will modify the skills or effects of certain attribute manuals, such as "Thundering Palm" to make them more useful.

5. Low drop rate of Talisman, and lost of Talisman due to misoperation.
We will increase the drop rate of Talisman and automatically lock red Talisman, as well as improve the text of relevant prompts.

6. Poor output environment for melee sects.
We will make appropriate adjustments to mechanisms such as self-destructing enemies and shield-wielding enemies to improve the survival space for melee sects.

7. The talent panel can only fully activate two branches at most, and players hope to increase the number of points or unlock all branches.
The talent tree will initially have 41 default points, which will increase to 43 after completing the true ending.
We left this issue for last because the talent tree currently has a big controversy. This system is closely linked to the underlying design of DLC2, so we are currently unable to make direct and rough modifications. Our team is currently discussing more appropriate adjustment plans, and we will continue to make updates and optimizations with future game versions. We hope that you can give us more time and see if the experience improves after tonight's adjustments.

Listening and progressing will always be our principles, and we welcome any opinions and feedback from all communities. This will help us better collect the thoughts of players to improve!

【DLC2 Update】Boss Difficulty Optimization, Talisman System Guide, Bug Fixes!

Experience Optimization
1. Reduced the damage dealt by the boss "Immortal Wolf" in the initial difficulty level.
2. Reduced the damage dealt by the mini-boss "Qingyi" in the initial difficulty level.

Talent Compass: New Talents & Freely Customizable Talisman System
Due to the restraints imposed by Heluo, Bi'an's original talent tree is no longer accessible and has been replaced by a new talent system that is completely independent of the main game—Talent Compass!
Collect Time Embers as you play to upgrade your Talent Compass Furnace. Each upgrade grants 1 point of Compass Energy for a maximum of 41 points. Use the energy to light up the ability nodes on the furnace. The previous node must be lit to light up the subsequent node, and some nodes are mutually exclusive.
With limited talent points, your journey of progression will be rife with difficult decisions and strategic gambles.

And there is a special boss drop—Time Talisman. Its diverse affixes and effects provide a higher degree of freedom and strength ceiling for builds.
The talisman dismantling function is available once 40 nodes are lit on the furnace. You can use the dismantled talisman fragments to draw random Time Talismans for your runs.


The End Of Karma is Nigh: Discover an Abundance of New Story Fragments and Choose Your Own Ending From the Three Endings!
