First DLC Preview!
Sneak Peek: Players will be able to experience a brand new gameplay mode—the Nightmare World, the core feature of this DLC. 5 Bosses, 6 endings, more than 30 nightmare skills, and a multitude of styles and NPC skins are waiting for you!
Download and install the DLC. After clearing the first playthrough, select a Buddha Statue, talk with the golden sword, and dive into a new world of The Ash of Nightmare!
Details are as follow:
1. Lucid Point
Players will gain Lucid Point once they leave the Buddhist Hall and enter the Nightmare World. Lucid Point, as an attribute, will decrease with time. Players will perish in nightmare at 0 Lucid Point.
2. Nightmare Level
Nightmare skills and Nightmare exculibars will be added in this mode, all distinct from their original counterparts. Customize your style with more than 30 Nightmare traits and manuals!
You can use Nightmare items to help you in battle, but using them will increase your Nightmare level, which grants more powerful debuffs.
To use items or not to use, that’s never the question. The decision is in your hands!
3. The Buddha of Lucid Dream
Players will see The Buddha of Lucid Dream when they enter the shabby Buddhist Hall for the first time.
You can use [Nightmare Ember] to upgrade The Buddha of Lucid Dream. [Nightmare Ember] can be obtained from Nightmare monsters and chests. Consuming Lucid Point to dismantle Nightmare exculibars can grant [Nightmare Ember] , too.
Upgrading the statue (The Buddha of Lucid Dream) will bring huge benefits. Try your best to get out of this Nightmare!
4. Sigils of Lucid Dream
You can light up the Nightmare Statue in the middle of the intersection after clearing a dungeon. Random rewards will be granted, among which Sigil of Lucid Dream is rare. When obtaining Sigils of Lucid Dream as reward, you will be asked to choose one of three sigils, which can be used to enhance your Nightmare skills.
Every Nightmare skill fits three certain Sigils of Lucid Dream. Using Sigils of Lucid Dream will change Nightmare skill’s effect.
5. Teller of Untruths (Boss)
In the Nightmare World, servants of old gods will transfigure into your friends and lure you to your doom by their words.
6. Nightmare Chest
Players will get 5 Nightmare Chests after defeating a Teller of Untruths. Nightmare Chests hide plenty of [Nightmare Embers], items, and NPC skins, which can be unlocked by using Lucid Point. Opening the first Nightmare Chest will cost no resources, while more and more Lucid Points will be consumed as you unlock the rest one by one. But the quality and the quantity of the rewards will be improved.
7. Nightmare Flame
The Ash of Nightmare has its own difficulty. When you kill a Boss, you’ll get a permanent Nightmare Flame. And if you choose to light it up, the game difficulty will be improved and certain benefits will be granted.
8. Multiple Endings
Tellers of Untruths will lure you with their lies. The decisions you make during the conversations with them will lead to different endings. Follow what your heart desires but keep in mind your choices will make your destiny.
9. The Mirage Altar
We made a set of new skin for every NPC. After getting NPC skins through Nightmare Chest, players can change NPCs’ appearance at the Mirage Altar. Some of the skins have special bonus and stunning visual effect.We hope you like them!
