3 new aircraft including the iconic Spitfire Mk.V now available in free update
The latest update introduces three new aircraft: the Spitfire Mk.V, F7F Tigercat, F7F Tigercat. For players who speak German and Chinese, we have also recorded voice overs in their languages.
Spitfire Mk.V – probably the biggest surprise in the update. Plane was not in US Navy equipment but No. 457 Squadron of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). It participated in a separate theater of operations and saw combat in the South West Pacific Area. Our 3D artist modeled a new detailed cockpit design for Spitfire, we hope you like it.
F7F Tigercat – a twin-engine machine for players who like to have a larger bomb stock and a powerful cannon.
F-82 Twin Mustang – although the aircraft was commissioned after the war, its unusual design made us want to have it in Battles over Pacific. It is a very interesting specimen of aeronautical engineering. Its 6 guns and 16 rockets are sure to impress opponents.
The update traditionally contains minor bug fixes and improvements. Let us know what you think of the improvements.
Merry Christmas from HNG! Expect an update for Battles over Pacific early 2023
As Christmas and New Year 2023 approach, we send our sincere wishes for a joyous celebration and all the best for the entire Home Net Games community. We hope you can have a joyful holiday season.
The Home Net Games team would like to thank you warmly for the support, commitment and feedback we receive from you. This has been another year that we were focused on VR. We released Warplanes: Battles over Pacific, introduced the requested features to Warplanes: WW1 Fighters. Above all, we are working in the sweat of our brow on a new project, the scale of which has grown in recent months, and we can't wait for you to play it next year (unless anything unexpected happens).
Warplanes: Battles over Pacific update
We are currently working on a content update for Warplanes: Battles over Pacific, its release is scheduled for early next year. It will feature new planes, below you will find a small teaser of one of the new machines.
We are constantly eager to hear your ideas for improvements. Although some of them, like the addition of large bombers, don't fit the specifics of the game, thanks to you we were able to add a lot of interesting matchmaking features in the multiplayer mode.
This is also the last moment to buy the game at a discounted price. The update will end the period in Early Access and the price will be the same as Warplanes: WW1 Fighters.
Merry Christmas! Home Net Games Team
Multiplayer improvements and tweaks
Get ready for takeoff! The latest update is now available with the following changes: • Each player can change plane armor in Multiplayer. • The host can select which planes are allowed in the session. This gives you the possibility to exclude some planes or even to create a session with only one playable plane. • We added a requested feature of enabling friendly fire in the Team Deathmatch, Co-Op, and Raid modes. • Added favorite bar in the respawn window. You can add up to 3 planes to your favorites and pick a respawn plane swiftly. • Improved particle effects like explosions, smoke, and water splashes. • Adjusted speed while landing with open flaps.
Warplanes: Battles over Pacific graphics improvement update is here!
First major Warplanes: Battles over Pacific update brings better, more natural looking ground details with 25% increased resolution without affecting the performance. Terrain should now look more organic, and transitions are more smooth.
We learned a lot during that process, we try to challenge ourselves to squeeze as much as we can from the hardware to achieve realistic graphics which is a key factor for immersive experience. Check out the comparison screenshots that will give a glimpse into a 1.1 update.
You’ll also hear additional combat music track created by our composer Michał Szmuc.
Additionally, update 1.1 fixes some minor bugs like reversed animation of plane elevators.
Two new planes, over 60 new decals, and more! Update 0.9.4.1 is here
The new Warplanes: Battles over Pacific update brings a lot of content dedicated to multiplayer mode, and more. We present two new planes: F8F Bearcat and J2M Raiden. Each has its own unique features, so be sure to take them both for a spin.
In the new update, we've increased the importance of the ranks you earn by gaining experience in multiplayer. In the lobby, a rank is displayed next to each player's nickname so you can see how your teammates (or enemies) level.
If you have gained enough experience in a match to be promoted, a popup window will be displayed with your rank and unlocked decals. Speaking of the devil. The addition of over 60 new decals in multiplayer is one of the biggest new features of the update! As you gain a higher rank, you will have more and more opportunities to customize your plane.
For levels higher than Ensign we have made it possible for you to decorate your wings with more wacky images. We know that this is not very historically accurate, but we wanted to give you more freedom in multiplayer.
The update also includes minor improvements and fixes. In the challenge mode, there is a voice-over that informs you when a veteran arrives on the battlefield. You will also be warned if another player is approaching victory. We have also removed the radio effect from the player's character voiceovers. We felt this was more realistic and increased immersion.
Let us know what you think of the update, and stay tuned for more news.
