Looking for people to test our upcoming patch 1.1.1

Hi,

We got a lot of feedback that the game is too unforgiving with the controls.

Changes in v1.1.1:
- Hide mouse by default when using gamepad or when the main menu is not open
- Set Merciful bounce mode to be Always On so that you can still jump even after you bounced
- Add Coyote Jump so that you have a small window after you fall to jump
- Modify jump & roll movement to be more forgiving
- Modify evil enemy path in the jump & roll tutorial to not kill you on respawn.

To test this just right click on the game properties -> Beta tab -> select "testing" from the dropdown.

NEW DEMO


We recently participated at The Dev Play and Bucharest Gaming Week where we showed our NEW upcoming DEMO and people really enjoyed it!



We will release the free demo to the public in the following weeks and we need your help to let other people know about it!

On steam it will be released as a separate app from the main game and Wishlisting & Following helps us a great deal with visibility!

WarriOrb v0.8

We just published a new patch with a few smaller improvements!

GERNERAL

- Modified default controller layout (A is jump now)
- Improved character look, which is way more visible in most environment
- New combat music, intense music is added to some survive for x sec traps
- Short mini-cutscene on Act 1 start
- Character hitreact improvment (Maintainer strike)
- Character can switch and cast spells even if Spellcaster isn't the active item
- SilverKeys are replaced with Memory Crystals
- Huge SFX update, including ambients
- Improved drone attack effects
- Trap before first sewer lever is deactivated if the lever is pulled
- Small level and environment design updates
- Dialogue improvements

BUG FIXES

- Fix wrong damage amount in some case
- Fix for some weapon in hand glitch at the start of a dialogues/rest
- Fix music staying intense after certain traps
- Fix teleport if character is armed

BALANCES
- Decreased capacity cost for Green Flamestone and Energystone
- Decreased damage for some traps

Warriorb v0.7



We focus more on the later parts of the game now, but this update still contains some bigger changes:


  • Invulnerability for a short time after a hit is taken to avoid unfair deaths
  • Character is healed and spells are regained after an enemy group is defeated
  • Miniboss projectile modified to be destroyable with strikes
  • Certain spells are not casted if there is no target/need for the spell
  • Fixed character bounces on floor in roll mode in places where he should not
  • Quite Huge SFX update
  • Fixed enemy not moving in the test stone area
  • Fixed order of RB and LB buttons on bounce tutorial decal
  • Better controller support on linux and automatic detection on first startup
  • Improved reflections
  • Minor performance improvements
  • Can move in main menu and settings with controller dpad
  • Many more smaller fix


Warriorb v0.6 & New Trailer, Info, Screenshots


Hello world.

This is our first post here, until now we only posted updates in our discord server.

We will try from now on to also post updates here.

First things first, we updated our steam page with a new trailer, gifs and screenshots.

GERNERAL

  • Miniboss vfx improvements
  • Environment upgrades
  • Option to disable the "resisted damage" floating icons
  • All enemies are moved to Enemy Groups
  • Gatekeeper casts a teleport spell before the teleport to sewer level happens
  • Wrong camera angles are removed from the game
  • Soulstone tooltip contains the "Soulkeeper can't be used here" icon
  • Merchant music is played in the room of the merchant and not only during dialogues
  • Some combat area is modified to be Soulkeeper free zone
  • Inactive Dialogue Images go gray instead of transparent
  • Huge Dialogue Text Update


BUG FIXES

  • Fixed unintended sfx around secret science society
  • Baseball Hat + Sword will spawn only one hit number and not two on enemy hit
  • Unintended bounces are stopped while rolling on stairs


BALANCES

  • Protective transmutation (Witch Hat) transforms enemies to boot on overlap damage as well
  • Slightly more Valuable in the chapter
  • Reduced damage for some traps
