New skirmish map - "Ice Fortress"





"Ice Fortress" is the most large and spacious map in the game. It has a lot of flat surfaces for base development and epic battles. In the center it is located high plateau, which is a strategically important location with landing zone and resources.

Changelog V1.77-1.89



New option: Gameplay Speed
- I have a good news for everyone, who found this game a bit too fast paced. There is a new requested option: 'Gameplay Speed'. It effects on the speed of units creation, base building, resource extraction, avatar’s level.

Limit Of Units
- Now limit of units is dependent on the quantity of captured or created Energy Sources. On start your limit is 100 units. For each new Energy Source after 10, you will get 10 additional unit points (up to 200).
Note that different units has different crew coefficient: for soldier-class units it is 1, for tank-class units it is 2-3, for battleship-class units it is 10.

Game Chat
- Now you can use chat even in the action mode: press button '`' to enable chat mode, then press 'Enter' to send message or exit chat mode.

Requested Key-mapping changes
- Keys for rotating strategy camera: ‘Q/E’ or ‘Left Alt’ or ‘Mouse Wheel’ button.
- Activate button has been changed to 'F'.
- Find button has been changed to 'C'.
These and other keys can be changed in the launch menu, input section.

Experimental Functions
- I just added this new option in the settings menu. It unlocks some new but not well tested features. So, you can use them at your own risk;)
The first of them is the ability to order buildings and airstrikes in the action mode. How it works:
Press F3 and you will see icons of bildings on the bottom-right side of the screen.
Then press button 1-8 to order a building.
Press F4 and you will see icons of orbital strikes on the bottom-right side of the screen.
Then press button 1-5 to order an airstrike.
You will see the progress on the mid-right and will be informed when it is done and ready to deploy. You still need to go to the strategy mode to deploy it.

Hidden Enemy Troops
- Now hidden enemy troops are available in the multiplayer

Balance Changes
- Starting level of energy increased by 20% for all the combat avatars.
- Attack speed and range of Berserks was increased.

Bug Fixes
- Fixed bug with AI stats and progress.
- Fixed with teams and factions in the multiplayer.
- Fixed bug with difficulty in the multiplayer.
- Fixed bug with the game physics.
- Fixed bug with camera for vehicles.
- Fixed bug with scrolling hosts list.
- Fixed bug with chat in the multiplayer.

Transitioning to a full release

I want to thank the game's community for all the feedback, suggestions and support they have given me during the Early Access period. Everyone who helped me make it as awesome as possible, I thank you very much!
I worked hard on this game over 5 years, together we passed a 1 year way of the Early Access, a lot of changes was done, and now I feel this is now possible.
I'm just uploaded a version 1.77. At this point WARSHIFT is going to be finally released!

New flying alien: Typhoon



By the user's requests, I finally made a flying alien combat avatar - 'Typhoon'.





Other patch notes:

- New graphics quality level – ‘Extreme’. This mode is suitable only for high-end computers. It provides the maximum of available graphics quality for this game and highest LOD distance.
- Balance changes.

New Infantry Unit, Patch Notes.



New Infantry unit: Cyber Grenadier

The Cyber-Grenadier is armed with a rail grenade launcher. It is a powerful weapon with long range armor-piercing charges, but with low shooting rate. This unit is designed to destroy light-armored vehicles and buildings. It cannot attack enemy aircraft.

Alien Battleship & Docking Platform



Alien Battleship



Alien heavy battleship “Acheron” was designed for bombing the planet’s surface and assault operations. Weapons:
- x12 Ballistic plasma-bombs.
- x3 Pulsar cannons
- x2 Anti-air rocket launcher
- x1 Triton-class interceptor

Alien Docking Platform



The Docking Platform is designed for repair and logistic support to heavy warships. Along with this building, one battleship will be provided. The Docking Platform can repair a battleship and recharge its weapons. If the associated battleship is destroyed, you can order the delivery of a new ship. In the case of the destruction of this building, related ship will be destroyed too. Each team can have only one Docking Platform for use.

New alien units: Berserk, Cyclops



This is new alien units which are already available in the game:

Berserk



Alien Berserk is designed for breakthrough in battle. It is armed with a powerful impulse generator, four glowing blades and able to move around on land and on the seabed. Berserks are effective in the fight against infantry and armored vehicles but are useless against enemy aircraft.

Cyclops



This class of anti-air combat droids is designed for long range attack by launching multiple guided missiles.

I just created and added this units to the game, so they probably changed the gameplay balance. But I hope to fix that with your advices.
