Play the Wave Break Open Beta! May 20 - 30!
Welcome BACK!
Wave Break Open Beta will be running May 20 - May 30!
During the Open Beta, you will have a variety of game modes to enjoy by yourself, or with friends!
Play Online Matchmaking! (Solo, or with a group!) The game mode switches between "Trick Attack" & "Deathmatch" every 15 minutes
Create a skateboat park in the Park Creator! If you're feeling lonely, join up with your friends before launching in!
Stay Tuned! More information about the Park Creator's features & capabilities will be posted as a Workshop guide after the Open Beta starts!
In the meantime, join our discord! We've been known to leak information a bit early there. :)
The Wave Break closed beta was an absolute success!

We saw so you getting crazy high scores, building (and importing) all kinds of crazy parks in the park creator with your friends, and exploring the 5 massive levels that you'll get to experience in the full game's campaign.

Wave Break Closed Beta PC Patch 1
Hey all, we pushed out a patch to the Closed Beta last night.
Here are some of the major fixes:
Game window sometimes jumped to wrong display
Countdown to match timer no longer showing odd values
Various matchmaking fixes (So you're not having ping issues)
Gun Pickups now appear in deathmatch matchmaking
Various Text\Localization Issues
Waterfall particles no longer get stuck to players boats
Various level editor fixes
Player can no longer bail through walls\boundaries
Topped off the water levels in every level*
*there was a lot of splashing from you all playing.

We run PC play tests every weekend Friday 9PM PT - Sunday 9PM PT.
Keys can currently be obtained by visiting our weekly dev streams, our Community Manager, Kyle, has a couple keys on hand for early arrivals ;) Key distribution via discord is OFF at the moment, with plans to re-active very very soon.
Our DEV streams take place on the Funktronic Labs Twitch Channel every Sunday at 10AM PT, we'll be playing the Alpha, and giving away keys this Sunbday (10/18)!

Wave Break Multiplayer Dev Stream
This Sunday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 5PM UTC, we'll have the entire dev team joining in on some multiplayer mayhem!
Join us as we will be showing off two of our current game modes - Time Attack and Deathmatch - and we may even tease a team based game mode!

Demo Features:
For the demo, you will be able to play all of the current game modes (Free Play, Time Attack, Death Match), on the High Tides Hotel level, as well as play in local split-screen and Online multiplayer. The demo will be available from Wednesday October 7 to Tuesday October 13.

Go for the highest score in Time Attack, rack up the highest kill count Death Match, or just cruise around in Free Play listening to the awesome soundtrack

PAX West Playtest Session 8/30 - 9/2
Hello, Waterboating Connoisseurs!
This week we're heading to PAX West to showcase Wave Break, and we'll be hosting a large playtest throughout the entire weekend of PAX! You can get a key from the Discord channel, and play as much as you like throughout the duration of the playtest.

We have made some big changes since our last playtest! We’ve refined the core controls, rebalanced the scoring and driving mechanics, and added tons of new stuff into the levels. Along with vastly improved water visuals and physics, you now get an extra combo multiplier when you kill another player. You can now freely jump in and out of your boat - or steal one from another player!
Thanks to the many helpful reports from our previous playtesters, we’ve been able to fix bugs and improve performance. If you see something, say something!
